Most people would go into developer options to see if OEM unlocking can be turned on.
https://www.technipages.com/google-pixel-how-to-enable-usb-debugging
There should also be a SKU on the back of the phone, and Verizon lists:
G-2PW2100-021-A or G-2PW2100-021-B
I think it's also listed on the Product/Variant line in fastboot, and this image is probably the Google version:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/1...-partition-changes-and-new-fastboot-commands/
Yeah can't flip the bootloader switch so I'm screwed lol

You could look at it this way--if you have to be stuck on stock the Pixel is likely the best phone to be stuck on stock with.
Agree, thanks guys

My question, Doing this won't affect anything, Will it?
I never owned an HTC and always saw a lot of numbers. Anyone accepted it?

Yeah, I'm PrimoC as well. I didn't install.
But I did notice that I had about 10% battery and the phone shut off. This happened when I got it. Could've been from just the battery being dead, and not charged.

uh no.
I just checked and installed wallet on my Verizon gn and installed no problem. Your play store may have not updated yet to new version. I am running slim 4.3 rooted.

I guess part of what I am wondering is why it says not compatible, but then let's me update.
New update is nice.

It's the market deciding compatibility based on your device name in your build.prop.
No big deal.
I'm on PureNexus 6.0 + ExKernel, I check security and it says "Encrypt Phone" (which to me seems like its not encrypted, but under it, it it says "Encrypted"
Reboot. If mid-boot it asks for your pin to finish booting then you are still encrypted.

I don't know. I'm not sure I understand where you are saying it says encrypted.

Your phone is encrypted.
See the photo below. My phone is prompting me for an update, but I'm on Oreo/8.0.
Has this happened to anyone before?
My phone is an unlocked Verizon.

Seems Verizon is pushing an OTA that hasn't shown on either the OTA or factory images page.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel/how-to/heard-verizons-pixel-software-update-t3671795
Don't worry. Happens with me. In fact the update is for September security patch in Oreo dispatch the notification. Just go ahead
Thanks. But if I have updates turned off in my settings, how is this happening?

More information is needed to point you in the right direction.
Did this happen as a result of something you just flashed to the device or it started happening randomly after it was working normally?
Can you load it into Download mode?
It's either a bad flash or a dying battery...

No, that was while I was trying to get through another rom.

Yes, all info needed to modify this device has been posted many times over the years.
Not sure what your current knowledge is, but there's plenty of info available in these forums.
