I did not have the time to check it yet but probably yes (as other LOS based ROM's also need this)
I'm guessing it's also broken, but Bluetooth audio streaming?
I have installed this rom but my pin code for my two sim is always refused. I can't continue the setup

@koenkk great to see you move to the 5 from the 3/3T (My dad has a 3 and your builds, they're super smooth ) Now I did install your today's build. I'm F2FS for data, that's working (it's working in RR too)! Thank you for being the first!
Not working (Used LOS 7/12, Opengapps Pico 7/12, F2FS and Factory Reset):
Button Settings
SIM (No APN and error searching for networks)
Doesn't shutdown/restart very gracefully (had to Hard Reset)
- That's as far as I got

Good point
Awesome, nightly builds! So i don't have to build
Hm, getting a "SIM PIN operation failed" when trying to enter the SIM PIN. I have dual SIMs and the lockscreen is constantly flipping between SIM1 and SIM2 to enter PIN... when entered the second PIN, it's trying to unlock the SIM, but does not seem anything is happening. Same for single SIM, can't unlock...

The ROM works nice for me, no issues at all. Camera quality is quite good, photos and videos work. I think the stock ROM's photos were a little bit sharper, but it's not a big difference.

However, I don't now if this file is up to date or if it will be merged in next nightlies...

I've decided to do nightly builds of Dirty Unicorns ROM, based on Android 7.1.1. These are unofficial builds not maintained by the DU team, but by myself. I will try to keep up with builds every day to keep you all updated with the changes to the DU Nougat Robin version, but I can't promise I won't miss a day here and there.
Personally, I'm running this ROM on my Robin, and I think the battery, performance, UI, features/tweeks are great! My new daily driver. Very solid. Not quite as fast as Omni, but still very nice.
So have fun. Reply with any bugs that aren't related to the DU team itself. Thanks.

Are you a member of the team? Or just playing Forum copper? Per forums rules you are supposed to use the report button. Attempting to or causing a scene in someone's thread is not allowed.
On Topic: This rom has calling issues. The phone will call out or receive calls, however it just clicks in ear. People you call or call you do not hear you. Does the same with mic on. Click, click, click. Everything else works like a charm tho lol.

I'm pretty sure that only applied to official builds. Being that this is an unofficial build and it's AOSP/CAF based it's open source so there should be nothing wrong with posting an unofficial build. Anyways, back on topic.
Played around with it earlier today and as reported previously everything but the calling works.
dpryor88 let me know if you fix the calling issues, I liked the rom. But I need calling lol.
Check the official thread on devs base
How does this compare to battery life on Omni?
Calling issues still there

But you link to Official Open Gapps. Open Gapps don't have 8.1 as of now. I think it would be better to link to another 8.1 working Gapps while waiting for Open Gapps to be updated to 8.1. Just to avoid confusion.

You can delete the storage check in the installer script. Did it before and worked fine. I'm gonna try it tonight with this build.
Update: Stucked in bootloop. Gonna try tommorow again.
Update#2: Here is my working solution:
1. Flashing rom
2. Flashing addonsu
3. Flashing openGapps micro
Whats the perception about the Lineage<color>Accent.apks ?
They seemed to compromise my device and after removing these system aps
my find7 starts twice as fast as before.
In Settings->Apps they are all active but do nothing and their names are renamed like kakao lavendel kirsche carbon...
I'dont know whats this about,
but I feel Hacked and compromised by these apks!
Please explain what these apks are good for
and why it is stated in Settings->Apps that they do nothing else as being in background active
nor is anything protokollised from their activity!
I did a clean fresh install with these Custom Rom,
wiping all partitions and installing them with TWRP 3.2.2.0
With best regards Zoltan-X
P.S.: Find7 works better without these and no Errors are caused in usage so far!!!

Are you serious? These are just simple apks for the styles you can change from display settings.
If you are so curious about "being hacked" look at the source: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_overlays_Lineage
Curios i've had in those app a data collecting folder structure,
like db, files, and more, maybe a rootkit on my device???
I don't know, since i removed those my find7 works again really well,
what it didn't do since a long time in this year....
With best regards
Code looks fine and i'll recheck if the image was compromised or not or how, but later these days.
thank you for the quick hint to those files!
P.S.: I've dirty reflashed the image i used to install lineageOS, after the expected remove, and no these nightly seems not been compromised,
Sorry for the alert,
but in the last days many hacks occured in my private relationships with my dearest, so I was a little curios, but seems now clean on my device!
Thank You verry much,
and Kudos Kudos Kudos to your quick hint reply.
I just installed lineage-15.1-20180806-nightly-find7-signed.zip to replace my stock Oppo Find7 firmware on the weekend and after a few days with it, so far so good! I had to lose the LVM unfortunately, but I'd rather have an up to date OS.
The battery life seems shorter than the stock firmware. I can still get through the day, but down to 40 or 50% or less by 6PM instead of much more with the stock Oppo FW. I haven't tried tweaking any battery life settings yet though.
Two minor things with the install compared to the LineageOS howto - the SD card path was different to what was documented ( /internal_sd not /sdcard) , and I had to install open_gapps-arm-8.1-pico-20180812.zip (pico instead of the documented nano version)... but this was minor stuff and I got where I wanted to go.
Awesome. Thanks for this release. Everything (almost) works great. Feels like a new phone. Only video recording does not work. Any ideas ?

Got the latest build. All fine Thanks
Allthough its not supported i've got unified working. not reliable tho. the only way i got it working when flashing los and direct rebooting into recovery again and then flashing the cm-13.0-find7-unified-storage-patch.zip from the according thread. cuz the original link is dead incl mirror i got my copy uploaded to gdrive here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sZ72qUD5P7qL4tsIF3MB-cQk9x9pamRR/view?usp=sharing
only drawback being you cant reboot anymore cuz that will somehow give you the your-sdcard-is-****ed message. havent found a reasonable routine so i guess you'll have to try your luck yourself and maybe give feedback?
Hi, could you disable CABC(Content Adaptive Brightness Control) or provide a way to disable it? The hardware of Find 7 use it and it really makes some troubles, brightness, color. Really thanks if you have that time
I read that the problem of heavy games crashing on Bacon (Oneplus One) was resolved recently with this commit https://review.lineageos.org/#/c/LineageOS/android_device_oneplus_bacon/+/218799/
I have the same problem with the Oppo Find 7/s (i.e. heavy games are crashing). As this device has the same processor and RAM as that of the Bacon, is it possible to get the same fix for Find 7 as well?

That commit has already been applied for Find7 - https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...mmit/80e1e7e5ffca2c69730eecc8c498423c2ea48463

Installation:
If you are on stock OS, you need a custom recovery first. You can get the recommended TWRP recovery in the official installation instructions link below.
If you are coming from stock or other ROMs, you need to make a factory reset.
As always, make sure to backup before installing this ROM.

Thanks for the great work you (and others of course) have done for getting bacon to remain a supported device by LineageOS :good:
Regarding LED notificattion issue, it seems that in some unofficial builds have already found the solution thanks to @dar2q

if you use the commit from hxxps://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_device_oppo_msm8939-common/+/234947 even though it is for another model, the LED starts working with SELinux still set to enforcing (sorry but i cant post links yet)

@KiD3991 and @Tomoms for the LEDs to fully work (aka pulsing) you need to allow it in the sepolicy/file_contexts file:
Code:
/sys/devices/[a-z0-9]+\.i2c/i2c-[0-9]/[0-9]-[a-z0-9]+/grpfreq u:1object_r:sysfs_leds:s0
/sys/devices/[a-z0-9]+\.i2c/i2c-[0-9]/[0-9]-[a-z0-9]+/grppwm u:1object_r:sysfs_leds:s0
remove 1 at u:1object

I really don't know if it will be related to, but I tell you it just in case it can be useful.

What exactly does "Issue with play store and our device fingerprint" consist of what I can or can not do? that is, the store works but it is possible that it will not let me install any app?

It means that Play Store provides us with obsolete versions of some applications (such as Instagram or Facebook). The simplest solution is to download them from sites like apkmirror, that's all.
I have a problem with adb sideload. I made Format Data and when I try to flash Pie by adb sideload on TWRP says "you need adb 1.0.34 or newer". How can I proceed?

Someone have issue with camera? Freeze...
Because of the new thread devoted to lineageos 16 I will repeat the description of issues with the first LOS16 relase:
- NFC is not working (GPay), phone can receive NFS tags but cannot send it,
- camera app crashes, it has no permission to device camera,
- led notificatiins are not working.
Upgrade according to LOS developers recommendations: from last LOS15.1 flash in trwp, ROM and gapps pico.
Hardware Buttons
Hi, not sure if you're aware of this already but hardware buttons don't seem to turn off after nav bar is toggled. Can anyone else confirm this? I've dirty flashed over 15 so maybe that's why but I'm not sure. By the way, thanks for supporting our device even longer. Props to the lineage team! :good:
Just wanted to ask if SELinux is enforcing or permissive on this build? Thanks once more![/QUOTE]

Official builds always enforce SELinux.

thanks
the problem maybe detecting in what applications that happens, maybe you are not aware of it
Is it possible that this is the cause of this too?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/a19cl3/google_play_silently_updating_some_apps_even_when/
(Maybe it has nothing to do ... but I've noticed)
maybe I should wait a bit longer to install the rom being the main mobile.
I hope that the first battery data (drainage) .. is provided by the people who have it installed:silly:
Good

Yes, you have to detect which applications aren't updated and solve it by yourself.
The link you are reffering I don't think is related. The problem here is the device fingerprint (or certification) that is too old (from the last CyanogenOS build from 2016).

What about getting a current adb? Mine is 1.0.40 (and i guess not really current, binary is from Mai 2018).
Your device tells you :"use adb 1.0.34 or never" ... what is unclear with this?
Cheers
Kurt
P.S.: ... next to come will be the question : "but where can i get it" ... i did the googling for you : Android Platform-Tools

Thank you again
I imagined that it had no relationship, and this I have begun to notice not long ago .. but I do not know ... it will be a mistake in the store .. I hope it is not something with intention

There is no "best" firmware, it all depends on you and where you live. For most of the people best is c6-00241
P.S for me camera works fine and yeah LED doesn't work, but it doesn't bother me

I always go safely when upgrading major android versions. I do clean flash because I don't like doing dirty and it helps avoid me some problems
