To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Nextbit Robin can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Charging speed with a Quick Charge 2.0 adapter is as expected: excellent. It is in line with other phones with the same capability.

Will Quick Charging work with my Motorola Turbo charger if I use the Robin cable on it?

I'm not sure, but I've tested it with Aukey (wall) and Anker (car) chargers, both work fine with Quick Charge 2.0 speeds.
I charged with the official charger and a Iselector Qualcomm quick charge and nothing as well. Iselector worked on both the V10 and G4. Not sure why this is not working
Nevermind. Charging fast now. False Alarm lol
I thought the charging speed was great when I wasn't paying attention, but when I did actually pay attention and time it, it took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to fully charge. So, I would check into that. Also, the Robin doesn't seem to be USB-C Power Delivery Compliant to deliver the rapid charging like the Nexus 6p and Nexus 5x does, so getting fast charging from USB-C chargers that take USB-C to USB-C cables is useless, you'll get standard speeds. So please implement USB-C Power Delivery in the successor to the Nextbit Robin, so we can enjoy that fast charging technology as well, in addition to Qualcomm Quick Charge fast charging technology.
I am waiting for my Robin to be delivered. I am really confused about the charger. Does it show anything on the screen when a proper quick charge 2 charger is used. Like, in my Nexus 5X when I use original charger it shows "charging rapidly" but when I use another charger it shows "charging" or "charging slowly" depending on the source.
I'm from Bangladesh and it's hard to find a certified QC 2.0 charger. Is it ok if I buy a charger which is has 5V2A or 9V2A or 12V1.5A written on it?

My Nextbit charges slowly no matter what . i have tried new cables and different adapters and outlets. Could it be a software issue ?

What version of the os?
With a Qualcomm 3.0 charger and 3.0 cables, I get 2500ma speeds (12.5w). Only when charging from less than 50% though. The charging speed slows down as you approach 100%. The lock screen should say "charging rapidly" if it's working though.

I recently bought tronsmart type c quick charge 3.0 wall charger for my htc 10. But its not quick charging my htc 10. When i connect same charger with lg g5, it shows fast charging.
Help me solve this problem. Why htc is not quick charging although tronsmart charger supports QC 3.0
Do you use the included cable from htc? Or are you using a type c to type c cable? Qc 3.0 only seems enabled on the type a connector. I think this is for all Qc enable equipment.
I am using type c to type c cable
But lg g5 shows quick charge on same cable whereas htc 10 just shows only charging
Yes, it does show quick charge with original htc charger.

Read the review of this charger by Benson: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Tronsmart-Charge-Technology-Attached-Approved/dp/B0146FK3G0
One port is QC3.0 and the usb type co i 5V/3A max. Previous versions of this charged was very dangerous, people posted reviews of their burned cables and devices.
Is there a wireless fast charger that works with the G6? Every ine I have tried only does standard charging. Even the Samsung works but it won't fast charge. Any options?

That seems to be the case with all fast chargers. Only Samsung can wireless charge from what I have seen even though they all advertise it

Didnt know Spigen made one. Love their products. But I can see from the description, it only calls out Samsung products. I just purchases the Samsung wireless charger that came out with the S7. It works fine but no quick charge. I put my S8 on it and it says fast charging but then says it will take 2hrs to get full. It fast plugging in our phones

no, just the lightning bolt for charging. That's it. It's not "fast" charging wirelessly. But honestly, only about an hour, I can get a charge from about 35-40 %. But, when I plug in the cable the fast charge symbols show up. and it's DEFINITELY quicker.

That's exactly what I have been noticing. I tried both the G6 and S8 on the samesung charger: G6 said it was standard charging. THe S8 says its fast charging bu tells you it will take 2hr to go to full.
Wireless charging is great for overnight charging and that's it if you ask me

The LG G6 does NOT support fast (wireless) charging. So there isn't one it'll work with.

Wireless fast charging isn't really fast charging. Not the same way it is with wired fast charging at least.
I believe it only charges as fast as a regular charging cable, which is still faster than standard wireless charging.
Try using a regular non fast charging base, see what the charge time is, then try the fast charging wireless charger, if the times are similar, then it's fast charging.

Who needs wireless charging with QC 3.0 unless it's overnight
I have the original Huawei charger that came with the phone but I am using Samsung c9 pro usb cable for charging (lost the Huawei one)
My phone charged only 18% (from 13 to 31) in 30 minutes.
Is this normal considering Fast charging?
hi there,
The USB cable must be the original one that came with the device. There are other USB cables such as Mi dual type USB cable which works fine for Fast Charging. I dont know about your Samsung cable.
You can find out if it is Fast Charging from the notification bar. If you see two lightning icons inside the Battery icon, then it is Fast Charging. If you see one lightning icon inside Battery icon, it is Normal Charging. Hope this helps.
Bests.
the cable should support 18w (9v 2a) charging for fast charge to work.
I'm planning to set a tab S4 as my car dash. I want to know if it is possible to fast charge the device while using OTG at the same time.
I know that it will charge the device, but if it doesn't fast charge, even though it charges the battery capacity will decline because of the constant use of the display.
I have a usb hub which has PD 3.0 charging capabilities, but it shows as cable charging only with a 18w charger.
