First of all thanks for a great ROM. Long time lurker. I wanted to reply in the development thread but did not have the post sufficient post count.
I found the issue with the connection being refused for some websites. It has to deal with the \system\etc hosts file. The file has lots of urls blocked. I noticed this as well when trying to click shortened twitter links and why the browser was not able to load them. Removing some lines from the host file should unblock those sites.
Hope this helps

Issue: Downloader Marked Problem - Avast
So the problem with this link is that it doesn't link to direct downloads, but pushes a "downloader" that Avast flags as dangerous.
Where's the Canadian firmware?
Sent from my SM-A520W using XDA Labs
It also only has phones, no tablets....
Always slow download speeds. SO ANNOYING when you need it in a hurry because the phone is bugged. -.-
Does anyone know how reliable this site is?
Should I use their fast download firmwares or get one one of the regular slow overnight ones from SamMobile or other such places?
Everything worked great, quick download and installation with Odin.
Thank s man.
P.S. On Sammobile always ask to pay for premium account, no free download possible.
Windows 10 is detecting the firmware download tool as an "Occamy.C "Trojan. Why should I trust imei.info's word to add the tool as an exception?
Firware XFE 8.1 (....ARL4) for the Note 9 (SM-N960f) is not available for download on the site??
Just use SamFirm instead of such risky websites:

ok so it is online !
I didnt find the way to put my hands on the zip file but in germany it is online for testers

Anyone on N975U1 get the update?
Nothing on that version yet ...
It's only for unbranded versions.

Hi everybody, I have a Mediatek M6735 1Gb RAM 8 GB rom chinese cell phone (PCD 508 is the commercial name). It's infected with some viruses like trojandropper.agent.bzu, trojandropper.agent.caw and obfus.cm according to Esset antivirus. I guess it's the rootkit mentioned here ( https://www.xda-developers.com/mediatek-su-rootkit-exploit/ )
Last firmware update is from November 5th 2017. PCD no longer exists.
Flashing stock ROM (Android 7) is useless as it becomes infected again or maybe it's in the ROM itself. I could only find the ROM in not official web sites.
I need help in finding a suitable safe rom I can flash preferably with the method posted here ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/general-discussion.240/ ) as I already tested successfully.
I've tried searching the forum both with local and google search but found nothing.
Thank you very much for any help.
Best regards.
