I don't have this problem, I suggest you go to Settings/Applications/Youtube and clear all settings and cache and see if it solves the problem, if not I think a hard rest is required.
Sometimes I don't have them too... But when they start to appear it is so freqient that watching video is impossible.
Srsly . Thought it was just me. This device sucks. I regret breaking my mi5 and switching to this one.
Can anybody test the WiFi with the nougat update, thanks.
Yes, I agree, it is so annoying.

Just a heads up for WMW players on Nexus 7.
I've found out that the game in subject runs just fine but only as long as you're connected to the net.
If you loose the WiFi connection or turn it off, the game force-closes upon launch.
This is either a JB compatibility issue or Nexus 7 compatiblity issue because the same game works just fine on SGS III with airplane mode turned on.
I've raised the issue with the Disney support, so we just have to wait how fast they'll react with the correction

It's mostly likely not an issue not being able to connect to servers. They most likely try to check for wifi/3g connection (as opposed to internet connectivity), and if it doesn't have it, they mishandle that, causing an application crash. I haven't watched the logs for it though, so not sure.
Same here mate, Reported to Disney, hopefully they look in to this soon
darn, I was hoping this issue was solved by now.
Im using an acer a500 with ICS and I have this same problem. Any workaround?
both apps work fine without wifi here. and have since beginning of october at least.
Always worked fine for me with or without WiFi and with or without a 3G connection on my phone.

I have had the Google Services(Blue Icons) drop a couple times. One of the times anything i did would not fix it. Finally came back after about 15 minutes. Is that the issue you are having?

No but I think my issue might have been related to the router I was using. I connected to a defferent one now and no drop so far!:cyclops:

I have the same problem, it happened twice at home in 2 days while not even once at work....
I noticed a little thing: router config page was accessible like a DNS problem.... Next time I'll try to reach google with direct IP...

No WiFi issues here, I would say it is most likely the router playing up.

Friend can you tell me which app you are using.
I just bought an unlocked version from HTC. Out of the box I noticed that the network stops working after restarting or randomly, prompting another restart to fix it. Issues include no calling, no texting, no internet. SIM is fine.
Also, the GPS seems to have problems locating properly. Navigation kept rerouting over and over on any given day and coordination was a little off.
Factory reset seems to have helped a little but I had an issue with the network this morning, which was fixed after restarting. GPS has issues in Pokemon GO now, which could be app specific but no navigation issues now.
Is this common for a brand new phone? Kinda disappointed.

Update your profile, PRL? Might be your network? Updated phone to lastest firmware? That type of information is helpful. Oh and stop playing Pokemon GO, im pretty sure you are not a 12 year old girl.

Yeah, you're right: you must be unhappy to throw yourself into such a BS..
P.S. Re the phone: the unit seems to me faulty, as no one else had such weird and unacceptable problems.. Tough luck already, and you're continuing to worsen your karma playing Pn GO..

I am happy with myself, I was kidding about Pokemon, but a few have complained that app have GPS issues.
what troubleshooting did you do? You stated right of the box, and as I asked are you on the latest firmware? Saying you did plenty of troubleshooting and no details doesn't help us help you.

Thanks for coming off a little more civil, maybe it's just the internet. PoGO definitely has GPS issues but it continuously gets off route with GPS Navigation apps. Perhaps it's Pokemon and Waze but it's hard to say. Any solid way to confirm/test?

You can try a few GPS apps like GPS Status & Toolbox and see how many satellites you connect too at any giving time. Waze seems to live on mobile data, driving will give a lost connection once in awhile.
When GPS is in use on my HTC 10 (Google maps navigation, Pokemon Go), GPS and Data will randomly disconnect, lasting for up to half a minute or more.
During these disconnects, the app will show symptoms of a broken GPS connection(sudden change of location, sudden reroute, etc), GPS Status Pro will show zero satellites connected and the network will drop from 4G+ to 3G/H with no actual data connection. Leave it alone for awhile (sometimes up to half a minute or more) and it will become normal again. It almost looks like a radio crash and reset to my untrained eye.
I'm on 1.80.709.1 stock Taiwan set.
Is anyone seeing this on the latest 1.90.x software versions?
Hey guys,
Trying on this more active forum...
I just bought the S21+, overall great phone except couple of issue with Android Auto and Whatsapp.
I was able to fix the Android Auto issue (wouldn't connect, had to remove the latest Google Chrome updates) but the whatsapp issue is above my paygrade.
I scanned the QR code and everything works but as soon as the phone screen goes black, whatsapp is slow and disconnects often. Not completely disconnected as after I send a message perhaps 10/15 seconds later it gets set but still not responsive as before (S8+)
Any idea?
you can try other software to watch network connection status, if no problem, maybe that's compitability issue on s21+

Thank you, do you have any recomandation?
Not sure if you managed to fix this but in case you haven't.
You need to make WhatsApp a non-optimized app in the battery settings. That way WA will consume as much battery as needed to stay alive and to connect to WA Web.

No, it shouldn't matter. I was just trying to provide an option.
I really don't have any problem when its on mobile data but I do have problems with Wifi from time to time cause WhatsApp Web is poorly implemented with the app.
Sorry I couldnt provide any help.
