Hey guys, I have a G2 which has a couple of scratches on the screen. I thought that since I was already replacing the housing and spring that I could just replace the screen as well. My question is what do I replace the digitizer or the LCD?
digitizer is the glass on the front so i would say thats what you want to replace, unless the scratches are on the lcd its self witch is very unlikely.
Hi guys, I've just ordered a replacement housing for my girlfriends xperia play (she smashed it to pieces but the screen is fine!) just wondering if I can reuse the touch screen digitizer or if I'm better off buying a new digitizer as well? Thanks

I had just replaced my digitizer not too long ago. If your glass is broken, you'll need to order a new digitizer with the housing since it's glued to the glass. You shouldn't have too much difficulty replacing it. Good luck!
Use your old back that holds the battery taking off the antenn And speakers and whatnot is way hard

This video shows how to replace the full assembly LCD touch screen + digitizer (aka top glass).
The question is: Is there a way to replace ONLY the top glass (digitizer) without buying the whole assembly (LCD + digitizer)?
If someone finds a video showing how to replace ONLY digitizer, please post here.

Anyone managed to replace digitizer alone ( particularly in india) ? Problem is i dont want to lose original lcd panel since easily available complete display sets have compatible panels with poor colors.

Last time I was looking for some advice about replacement digitalizer for the ZUK Z 2 PLUS.
I don't found nothing, so I order just digitalizer. ~7e
When I dismantle the phone, it turned out i can't separate digitalizer from LCD.
(if you don't have pro tools you are ****ed!) see a random YouTube video about..
Don't buy digitalizer! Buy Digitalizer + LCD ~25e or LCD + Digitalizer witch frame ~40e.
If you buy Digitalizer + LCD you will need right glue like b-7000 to connect touch+LCD witch frame. It should be easy.
