[Q] [REQUEST] Does anyone have the gt-s5360 source code proprietary device files

Hello everyone,
I am new to xda-dev. This is actually my first post. So please correct me if I have done anything wrong.
Now, to business.
I am a developer with experience in c and I have a build station in my possession. I recently purchased a galaxy y and now I am planning to build cm9 from the source. The cm9 sources are synced with the repo and now all that is stopping me is the absence of device files.
So if anyone has the device files or wishes to make them please reply soon and provide me a link to the github repo.
As soon as I get the files I will release an alpha version within 5 days, that I promise.
Now reply soon so that I can kick start on the compiling of CM9 for galaxy y

Go to the development threads... there you will find what you need or you can contact the devs who are working on cyano mod for sources..

I searched it but everyone is direct porting it but not compiling it.

be carefully with your promise
compiling is not only works that you have todo. you have to port source code because afaik nobody working on official/unofficial (source code) port.

Actually, those guys (Maclaw, etc) are in tass, beni, cooper, etc dev so it won't be of mych use to totoro (sgy).

Quite the opposite actually. The gio is very close to the y. So the arm6-vfp compiler setup with a few tweaks is looking promising.

I honestly just flashed it right after the build and did a quick test. It appears good so far! 4G, Wifi, DPI works... I haven't tested IR yet. Too many options to list right now. SLEEP!

Just curious as to why this was posted when we have an official thread already fie pacman and 4.3 is not fully ready for release or the pac team would have released it already

They are just my unofficial builds for my own personal use. I thought other people would want to try it out. I can take it down if you think it would be more appropriate to wait for them to release an "official" build...
EDIT: Also, thank you for your work as well Papa Smurf!

Up to u. I can tell u as admin, dev, and maintainer for pac thatv4.3 isn't ready for full release and has many things broken, not, working, not included yet.

i mean the source was posted for you compile from right? i dont see what u did wrong...if they didnt want people building or posting their builds, perhaps they should wait to release the code for anybody to grab and use...as long as you labeled it [UNOFFICIAL] i dont think you broke any forum or moral rules

Man people take this stuff way too serious we are all here to have fun with our devices...let's just do that. Thanks everyone for what you do in the xda community.

I will be building other roms from source every now and then. I'm currently building Carbon from source right now based on Android 4.3. Just check my Android File Host account for new stuff. But I won't be dedicating time for PACman unofficial nightlies now that I have a sour taste from one of their devs... and I definitely will not be posting any new threads on XDA-forums now.

Doomkernel ported for zl is fully of bugs and problems, and there's no more new options released.

Hello friends, this is a project that I have been very excited for since late November and am proud to announce it’s unofficial release on the e980. The usual “weekly builds” applies here unless I don’t see enough changes to justify a build. I have, of course, included my E980Kernel+ in the builds as the build kernel I use does not boot properly due to the modifications made for it to… well build. Venture on!

Being based off of AOSPA, I wouldn't consider this daily driver ready yet (as AOSPA is working hard to bring up to Lollipop), but these guys have huge plans down the line and you're free to try out the current offering. It's definitely going to be different than what we've seen in the past. They seem like they know what they're doing and I'm very excited.
I will also implement their "ragingventures" cpu gov in my kernel for a more full experience down the line. Stay calm and Venture on my friends!

And I'm first! 5.1 is out I'm going to wait until you update and then flash the ROM.

Good and bad news friends. Good news is we're probably getting official support with me as maintainer, bad news is, we won't see it on XDA for a while for one reason or another, I have been asked to remove this thread, I'll keep a link to Venture in my sig or something for y'all. Also, if you look in Venture's G+, you'll be able to ask to be an alpha tester for the e980 build before we release it officially. If you're up for that go check it out! Thanks

EDIT: Well, a great build, smooth and pretty fast, the battery life is great and there's no bug at all. The only bug I've found (and pretty annoying) its the lockscreen. When you lock your phone, he gets to a deep sleep so deep, that he cant get back again. Sometimes, if you press the power button really hard, he gets back to life, but sometimes. And music with the phone locked, dont even think about it, it will stream slowly and with strange sounds. When I get back to home, I'll do a clean flash (I've come from cm12 and did a full wipe and etc but I think that doesnt really work) and report it again. I really enjoyed your rom, so, please Snepsts, if you could post this in G+ community to the developers see this and take some improvements I would thank you
EDIT 2: Did the clean flash, and voilà, everything working as it should! Remembering that I've flashed madmack's modem to get deep sleep. Hoping to be official very very soon!

Yes, madmack's modem is an att modem and the e980 is the att version of the GPro so it definitely won't work in any other version.

Going by the previous threads he has created, I'd say some sort of AOSP ROM.

Really freaking sweet to run Beanstalk on htc10. Very smooth and fast.
