My own note:
Hello friends, this is a project that I have been very excited for since late November and am proud to announce it’s unofficial release on the e980. The usual “weekly builds” applies here unless I don’t see enough changes to justify a build. I have, of course, included my E980Kernel+ in the builds as the build kernel I use does not boot properly due to the modifications made for it to… well build. Venture on!

Being based off of AOSPA, I wouldn't consider this daily driver ready yet (as AOSPA is working hard to bring up to Lollipop), but these guys have huge plans down the line and you're free to try out the current offering. It's definitely going to be different than what we've seen in the past. They seem like they know what they're doing and I'm very excited.
I will also implement their "ragingventures" cpu gov in my kernel for a more full experience down the line. Stay calm and Venture on my friends!
And I'm first! 5.1 is out I'm going to wait until you update and then flash the ROM.

Good news is we're probably getting official support with me as maintainer, bad news is, we won't see it on XDA for a while for one reason or another, I have been asked to remove this thread, I'll keep a link to Venture in my sig or something for y'all. Also, if you look in Venture's G+, you'll be able to ask to be an alpha tester for the e980 build before we release it officially. If you're up for that go check it out! Thanks

EDIT: Well, a great build, smooth and pretty fast, the battery life is great and there's no bug at all. The only bug I've found (and pretty annoying) its the lockscreen. When you lock your phone, he gets to a deep sleep so deep, that he cant get back again. Sometimes, if you press the power button really hard, he gets back to life, but sometimes. And music with the phone locked, dont even think about it, it will stream slowly and with strange sounds. When I get back to home, I'll do a clean flash (I've come from cm12 and did a full wipe and etc but I think that doesnt really work) and report it again. I really enjoyed your rom, so, please Snepsts, if you could post this in G+ community to the developers see this and take some improvements I would thank you
EDIT 2: Did the clean flash, and voilà, everything working as it should! Remembering that I've flashed madmack's modem to get deep sleep. Hoping to be official very very soon!

Yes, madmack's modem is an att modem and the e980 is the att version of the GPro so it definitely won't work in any other version.

Yesterday, I flashed the Paranoid Android Rom 2.99. Today I went to the forums to check for updates and the thread had been deleted. Does anyone have any idea why this would have been deleted? I hope that this is still going to be a supported ROM as it has only been in development for this phone for about a week and is already fantastic.

I hope someone else picks this up. I am looking at compiling it from source right now but I am a noob dev so the chances of it being serious are slim and none lol. I checked rootzwiki and he is not on there yet but idk if he might be later.
aw hell, i could cry. thankfully the current build is good enough to be a daily driver. really hope some one picks it up though im so spoiled by dpi control on a per app basis and 4.2.1 i refuse to use cm 10.1 and any 4.1.2 rom, but thats my problem i suppose.

Hopefully a dev will come around to port PA 3.0, which should be release in a day out two. Im excited about AOSPA!

As with most bannings and pulling of threads, we'll probably never know. I hate how this happens and no explanation is given to those in the community who may have been enjoying the work of the banned and have to speculate. The only thing I've seen is that he was banned because he was a "puppy" of someone called "ROM_CHEF". Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Maybe the mod that banned him could offer an explanation? I doubt it.
His work was awesome and the puppy account seemed to follow all the rules so it seemed the dev learned his lesson after his first banning.unless the first banning was for something really serious I don't see any meaning in the second banning.now we are out of a great Rom.but rules are rules I suppose

No. It's bs. We've lost lots of good devs over the years to people nitpicking at rules that where not intended for the purposes they used them for. Then they go on a smear campaign and talk about them behind their back knowing they can't respond or defend themselves. The politics here are just as bad as the politics in this country. I was really trying to learn to compile a couple of years ago and the main 2 guys teaching me got banned out of the blue for using a couple of themed apps in their rom without permission. The kicker? I'm the one that themed the damn apps in question! I didn't complain but some idiot decided to fight my behalf.... As if I need it! I'm a two time combat veteran! I think I can fight my own battles! But anyway, those guys are still banned and did absolutely nothing wrong. So I stopped learning and just try to enjoy the work these devs do before they get banned too.

right now i have aospa and i manged to fix the mms with go sms pro just using it as mms but they show up on the stock and im using camera jb+ for the camcorder but try the other roms to but if your a fan of dpi your going to keep on going back to pa

Once you try PA or 128 DPI there is no going back. Stock look and feel of just gapps is enough to make you realize you have a Bugatti putting around going 15 mph in a smart car.

Haha, definitely not a April Fools joke, or at least I hope not. I noticed the link in my #lg-optimus-g chat logs from this morning. I'm just wondering if anyone flashed it yet, and if so, what are the issues with this rom?
guys, i flashed the rom. it boots but a force close for android.phone or something just won't go away, and thus rendering the phone useless to navigate. i had to super long press the power button to get it to turn off so i could twrp restore.
other than that, from what i got to see, it looks good. just can't get past that force close

MMS is flukey, GPS works, no camera, I think wired headset needs a little love too. Other then that all systems are go.

have you tried group messaging with iphones. do they show up blank?
My buddy Gimmeitorilltell actually made this for me to test out.
He is not a part of Beanstalk though. Just a friend of mine that goes back a ways with me on Infectedrom.
He made that for me as a thank you for helping him to get interested in development and guiding him when needed.
I will let him know you are enjoying the build though.

Works fine here
Group messaging with iPhones in Hangouts works perfectly on Santo's 4.4 ROM.
I tried it with my sisters iPhone 5s and my mothers iPhone 4s and it works fine

This ROM is terrific so far. I haven't tested Bluetooth yet though. I love the built in customizations. Only thing I miss is beats audio.

Been treating me great as well for the past 3-4 days. Glad you're enjoying it and that I shared it with people, and also that Santod & gimmeitorilltell are cool enough to let me keep the post up. Just don't expect maintenance or anything like that....but as far as it seems for the past 3-4 days it doesn't look like it needs any

Well this one's a no go as well. Bluetooth doesn't work right. I haven't tried a 4.4 ROM that had Bluetooth working correctly. 'Bluetooth share has stopped' comes up so it turns it off and then on repeatedly.

:/ My data kept going in and out, other than that It was awesome! I loved beanstalk on my rezound.
Discussion can be over HERE if you wish. I haven't added it to xda yet. I'm glad some of you are enjoying it. I never really planned on releasing this build as it was dedicated to Santod for all of his great work. Seeing it has gotten in our forums I will go ahead and make a thread for it so that Scott Hart and everyone else gets proper credits for their work as well. Look for a thread here as well in the near future.

Can you look into the bluetooth issues? I have googled it with 4.4 ROMs and evidently I am not the only one having bluetooth share issues. I can try and get you a logcat if it would help.

There is no best ROM and is best to stay away from that conversation as it would cause trolling and other such arguments to occur. The best bet is to try them on your own and get a feel for which one suits you. Good luck

i dunno what is your problem!!!! this is an open forum for discussion and to get benefits from others experiences, i dont want to try any Rom and Loss some important features and each Rom post discussion includes more than a hundred pages and i dont think that it is logical to sit for ages and keep reading them all, so i want to know what other users think! and if this makes a problem to you, you can ignore each post from me and let other users share their experience

yes i realized that and as i see here that im one year older than you here anyway i wasn't trying to be rude neither, and let forget these things, as i see you are having the same e980 as my mobile, so what rom do you use?

Using aicp 4.0 as of a hr ago. I flash a lot ... If I don't see deep sleep I'll go back to stock cause that seems to be the only thing I can get to deepsleep

Best rom questions are not allowed in XDA. Common xdaer sense.

Thanks Shayne and i have a question as you flashed lot of roms, had you ever realized that some roms are better than other roms specially in CAMERA, because i dont like the Optimus G Pro 13 MP camera, i had to use samsung S4 with also 13 MP but there is a big difference in photos and i thought that maybe other rom will change the performance of the camera as i tried that with my old galaxy grand and roms really are different in camera's performance even if it doesnt make sense in theoretical side but believe me it really does...
Best camera in my opinion is the stock camera. Or google camera is good too

No prob man...I was on aicp but once again something came up and I'm back on easykat.. Deep sleep seems to be a issue with most Roms I've tried .. Trying cm m9 build to check and see if deep sleep is a possibility. Good luck man

i have an E980 Optimus G pro At&T i want i've already rooted it but now i want to install a normal stock rom on it, i dont want all the AT&T apps and features i want a normal stock Optimus G pro, how can i have this? where can i get the stock optimus without the at&t features and apps?

Flash easykat ROM which is stock ... Then download system app remover from playstore and delete the att bloat. Be careful though .. Delete what you know your deleting ..

in my previous two test builds I asked not to be posted on xda. (I guess I am a victim of my own laziness)

So far so good, though finding a few bugs. Not getting as good connection as I do with Stock Rom. Also, In order for my phone to show its charging, I have to reboot it while plugged in. Phoe will charge regardless, but battery wont circulate.
Can someone help me figure out how to enabled knock of feature with this ROM? I just haven't had any luck finding it

What modem/radio is this ROM on? Only reason I ask is when I was on my GS4 using GE ROM, we all had issues with connection if the modem.bin file wasn't the most updated. However there were other reasons we needed to do this in order to avoid Knox. Just didn't know if it might be part of your issue.

I believe M which is the Latest for the Tmobile LGG3

So far so good guys. I can confirm the camera DOES work. Bluetooth does not work (for me at least).
It scores moderately lower on AnTuTu benchmark (32000-33000 range instead of 34000-35000 when stock and higher on other roms)
It has tons and tons of custom features. Looks awesome so far. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
