Problem: Following message after flashing CM 10.1
SIM Card Added
Restart your device to access the mobile network
Restart button
Background:
upgraded baseband TO root66_ATT_I747UCDLK3.tar.md5 FROM root69.stock_ATT_I747UCALG1.tar
flashed clockworkmod after tarring latest file from CWM website
Flashing method:
From CWM recovery, I use the following options:
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Mounts and storage-> format: data, system, cache
Advanced-> wipe dalvik cache
Install from zip - > rom (CM 10.1)
Install from zip - > addons (GAPPS)
Advanced - > wipe dalvik cache
Advanced - > fix permissions
Reboot
Notes:
flashing liquidsmooth 2.7 -- same SIM boot loop occurs (uses new CM branch?)
flashing carbonrom 1.7 -- does not have any SIM reboot problems (uses old CM branch?)
CM 10.1 stable shows battery with a circle continuously; does not show charging, etc. like before.
Another BIG issue is with the networks where, when searching for networks:
Carbonrom shows carriers -- with names such as ATT, T-MO, etc
Liquidsmooth and CM 10.1 stable shows some numbers like
23015
21646
23066
for carriers
dosen't this look like a bug for JIRA??? Has to be, especially since RC(4?) had an issue with network usage calculation?
By the way, clicking the back button at the prompt goes away and I can make and receive calls.
Does going back to stock (rooted or not?) SIM lock the phone again?
Have you changed sim cards and/or do a sim card unlocking?

Phone SIM unlocked
No, I haven't changed the SIM card. I did not have problems using CM10 RC2 or the M's. Also, the phone is SIM unlocked; I called the carrier and got the unlock code.
Once your phone is SIM unlocked it will remain that way regardless of what ROM you install. Verify MD5 of your ROM and gapps downloads. If good do full wipe and try again. Could be botched install.

MD5 verification / LOGCAT attached
Thank you all for trying to help. Please see LOGCAT attached.
I understand that ROMs do not SIM lock the phone. However, I not only did a ROM upgrade but a baseband update too. Anyhow, looks like the SIM is going to stay unlocked.
MD5s for both CM 10.1 stable and GAPPS for 10.1 match.
Installation has worked out fine. Liquidsmooth and CM shows the errors. CarbonRom does not. Wonder why no one else is having this issue?
Everytime I reboot, I get that prompt to restart, although after hitting the back button it goes away and I can use the phone fine. Maybe, I just have to learn to live with it until a major change is made.
[SOLVED]
The problem has disappeared.
This happened after several reboots and after doing I did a data restore with mybackup root.
I think the main thing that solved the problem was an automatic network registration.... this was a work around provided by someone. The phone gave a message that it registered sucessfully. Previous it kept erroring out.
The network operators still show up as random 5 digit numbers, but I can live with that.
Thank you all!
Hello all,
I was using Android 4.2.2 with my phone, no problem.
Then I decided to install cyanogenmod cm-12.1-20150924-NIGHTLY-e980. Everything was ok, except the sim card. It was like recognized, and all of a sudden, not recognized anymore. And this happens randomly, all the time. I do not even have time to enter my pin code as the sim car is somehow disconnected.
I wiped/formatted cache and everything, and installed cyanogenmod cm-12-20150625-SNAPSHOT-YNG4NAO09M-e980 (a bit older). This one works perfectly! No sim card problem. Then cyanogen updater downloaded and installed the latest build. And again, this sim card problems appears.
Am I the only one having this issue?
Wishes,
Hey there. I have a galaxy nexus i19250 maguro device.
was running on 4.3 jellybean and recently updated to lollipop using the snapshot cm 12.1 ROM... Everything went fine during the process but..... once the device restarted,, there's this text of "No SIM detected, Emergency Calls only" and there's no cellular network detected.
I did try rebooting the device, taking out the sim and reinserting it... nothing worked. So I tried restoring the earlier backup and the cellular network was back........
I look forward to use the lollipop version.. if only someone could help me with the issue mentioned above......................
Not sure if I can help, but apparently, the Galaxy Nexus has problems when soft rebooting and won't detect the SIM card. If you do a standard, hard reboot, although you did that and more already…
Hello All,
As the title says I have a US Market ZE551ML 128GB Deluxe Special Edition phone. This is my 3rd ZenFone 2, so I'm not new to these devices. Until last week my phone was running a simple debloated stock 6.0.1 build. After reading the details of the 7.1.x Resurrection Remix-N ROM, I decided to flash it. After the ROM and GApps were installed, all went well until I popped my SIM back into SIM slot 1. In the settings it popped up as SIM2. If I put the SIM in SIM socket #2 it shows up as SIM1. I messed with it for a couple of minutes and decided I just had a bad flash. I did a complete wipe, downloaded fresh copies of the install files, and reflashed the same ROM. The same thing happened. I restored the backup I made in TWRP, same thing. At this point I freaked out a bit. I used the ASUS Flash Tool and flashed the phone back to a stock 6.0.1 build. The SIM behaves the same way. I flashed it with the stock 5.x RAW as well, no luck.
I know a lot of you will probably think, 'just leave your SIM in SIM slot 2'. No, I'm not that kind of guy. That sort of kludge will drive me a little closer to the hairy edge insanity. I want my device to work correctly.
Where are the files that define which SIM socket is labeled as 1 and 2. Maybe I can just flip them?
HELP!
Many thanks!

Someone? Anyone? Please?
Hi, I have installed Pie update on my Mi A2 Lite however due to amount of the bugs I got back to Oreo V9.6.10.0.ODLMIFF. Since that time my SIM cards got swapped - SIM tray 1 is visible in settings as SIM 2 and vice versa. What is more annoying whenever I insert new card while phone is on, it does not auto detect that SIM has been just inserted and need to reboot phone each time I replace SIM in order to get connected to network. Can anyone help me with fixing this so the SIM ordering is corrected in software and auto detection is back on? Already tried reflashing rom and getting back to Pie but no improvements.
Hi,
I have the same problem
