Custom ROMs get stuck in Boot animation - Sony Xperia ZL

I installed TWRP 3.1.1.0 and tried LineageOS April 23rd Build. But it gets stuck in Boot Animation. Tried Resurection Remix June 21st Build and still got the same Boot Animation. Tried to do Advanced Wipe and reinstall and still no luck.
Any advice on what I can try to install custom rom ?

Now it boots in Safemode
After N number of restarts, by some random keycombination, it restarts in Safe Mode. But still not booting in normal mode

try to installed boot.img custom rom and your device get normal boot

[Q] TWRP logo then loops

I was using JB liquidsmooth rom. I updated TWRP to flash liquidsmooth kitkat ROM.
I did a wipe, started to flash the ROM but mid-install the device rebooted then got stuck into bootloop.
when I try booting into recovery it will display the TWRP screen but then the device reboots.
any ideas how to fix this?
Install cwm or reinstall twrp. The recovery is probably corrupt.

Can only boot into fastboot mode anymore

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my Z1C.
I used CM 12.1 quite a while now and I wanted to know how much difference is to Android 6.
So I downloaded the Remix Resurrection rom and flashed the boot.img in fastboot mode to replace the CM-recovery with TWRP. That was a bit tricky, because CM deleted TWRP again and again and booted in the CM-recovery.
So, finally I got TWRP working, after booting directly into the recovery after flashing the boot.img via fastboot.
TWRP now told me, that no OS is installed. I tried to wipe the phone and to install the RR-rom, but the recovery always said that it has the wrong version (?).
So I flashed the boot.img from the Cyanogenmod-zip and was able to boot into CM again. But now there seems to be no recovery on the phone. Whenever I try to boot to the recovery, the Sony logo appears and the notification light turns into orange, but then it starts again to do so.
At the moment I try to boot into CM again, but I think it has stucked in a bootloop...
What can I do here? The only thing what works is to boot into fastboot mode, but without the system.img I cant flash any roms there. How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Shut down your device and press volume up button while connecting it to your computer. Then it will boot into fastboot mode and you should be able to flash stock firmware in flashtool, and then you can start from scratch.

Another option is to follow this guide to install Recovery and When done you can boot into Recovery and flash a custom rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/general/fota-twrp-recovery-amami-t2909719

Try Rashr app from play store. It sounds to me like incompatible kernel/recovery combo. Download a recovery IMG, (latest TWRP, for example), then use Rashr to flash it. You can also use it for flashing a boot IMG. Its probably the same reason you had trouble flashing ROM.
Besides that, you can install real recovery, which works the same regardless of the kernel-

Okay, after flashing it with flashtool it starts again. I now put the RR rom with Android 5.1 on.
I have again the CM recovery, but at least it starts how it should.
I will try to flash the real recovery, thanks!
Update:
Currently running RR with Android 5.1.
I would now like to use RR with Android 6, but again, I can only boot into the Cyanogen recovery, which cant make a backup of the currently running OS. I have tried to flash the boot.img from RR 5.1 with fastboot, Rashr, but nothing seems to work, as it puts me back to the Cyanogen recovery every time. How can I replace the Cyanogen recovery?
And one more question: When the phone starts, the notification light turns into red before the Sonmy logo appears and then turns into pink. What does the red light mean?

You need a recovery img, not boot img. Try this one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65361797&postcount=78 or this one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/general/fota-twrp-recovery-amami-t2909719 Open Rashr, choose ' recovery from storage'.
Okay, i flashed the 2.8.6.0 version via Rashr and now Im stuck on the Sony logo...the notification light is orange all the time, but I cant restart the phone anymore...any suggestions?
Edit: Worked! Used the combination between power and Vol+ to reset, and now it starts!
You should disable CM Recovery Protection – On your phone go to Settings > Developer options. Then disable the ‘Update recovery with system updates’ option. Otherwise it will keep installing cm recovery itself.

My Zenfone 2 with Cyanogenmod 13 Build 04/26 is stuck in a boot loop. I need help

I was trying to install SuperSU and after it installed in TWRP it started a boot loop. Then I tried to fix this and turned the phone off and flashed an old version of cyanogenmod 13 (03/13). Now it is still stuck in a boot loop. Please help!
Edit: I can get into recovery/fastboot mode.
If you van get into recovery, you should flash system data and cache then flash an old cm with gapps and wait until the boot OR the reboot (5min sometimes).
If it don't boot after that, maybe clean flash through fastboot..?

Unable to boot the device to Recovery mode..

Hi Team,
I am unable to boot into recovery mode. I just have installed OOS 3.5.2 rom through TWRP 3.0.2(1). I am able to boot up the device. Once I complete the setup process, I turned on Advanced options in developers and selected the boot in to recovery.
Device is restarting and then it is stuck at 1+ logo.
I have tried it through boot loader (Vol down and then power button) to start the recovery mode but is also showing 1+ logo and then device got turned off.
Any idea about the issue? Unable to restore backup.
I am completely stuck.
Plz help
Try booting into fastboot flash this version of Twrp
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68691560&postcount=56
Hopefully that will do it but you may need to boot into Twrp right away and reflash twrp-3.0.2-19-oneplus3.img from within Twrp and hopefully it will then stick.
It just worked like a charm.... :good:
3.5.2 Broke TWRP compatibility, there's a new unofficial TWRP available but I can't link to it at present. Although looking now it's in the last post.

MIUI Boot Logo Stuck

So my device (joyeuse global) was using an official LineageOS 18.1 (January 2022), and now I wanted to go back to MIUI. So I used MiFlash to flash MIUI 12.5.4.0 on my device, and it succeeded. When my phone is booting, it took me 10+ minutes to notice that my device was stuck on the boot logo. I tried wiping data from its recovery but it's still stuck on boot logo. I also tried flashing OrangeFox Recovery, but it boot looped a few times and reverted its original recovery; it's also stuck on boot logo. So I tried flashing MIUI 12.5.4.0 via MiFlash again, succeed. 10 minutes later, it's still on the boot logo. Should I just wait for an hour or is it really stuck on boot logo? Please help.
You don't have to "delete data" but "format data"

You have to do "format data" and answer "yes"

When you miflash original firmware, it will lock the bootloader again I notised. So you cant flash custom recovery before you unlocked it again.
I dont remember how long but it took a quite long time before it finnished booting when I miflashed my curtana.
I have the same error.
I was following the guide from
Everithing is working with Nusantara_v4.0-1-12-miatoll-Gapps-10122021-OFFICIAL-1242.zip ROM but with official ROM's (Recovery ex: miui_JOYEUSEEEAGlobal_V12.5.7.0.RJZEUXM_d1c95eaf62_11.0.zip) always stuck on MIUI Logo
