I was using JB liquidsmooth rom. I updated TWRP to flash liquidsmooth kitkat ROM.
I did a wipe, started to flash the ROM but mid-install the device rebooted then got stuck into bootloop.
when I try booting into recovery it will display the TWRP screen but then the device reboots.
any ideas how to fix this?
Install cwm or reinstall twrp. The recovery is probably corrupt.

I just tried to preform an OTA update to the latest CM11 nightly and so it installed it through Teamwin recovery and now it is just stuck at the Teamwin splash screen. I cannot boot into recovery but I can access the yellow downloading screen. Any Idea on what to do? Am I going to have to use Odin to revert the phone back to stock rom?
Flash back to Stock

I am pretty sure that happens if your Teamwin recovery is not new enough (I don't recall the required version). This happened to me as well.
My solution was to ODIN back to stock and install CWM (v5.0.2.7), CM11 will update it to v6.0.4.7. If I recall correctly I had to install the CM11 update twice (once for the CWM update and once to flash ROM)
Hope that helps
Chris
From what I know, the latest official TWRP (2.6.0.0) CAN NOT flash 4.4.x ROMs. Use CWM as included in CM nightlies, or try @unjust's 2.6.3.0 test build.

I was trying to install SuperSU and after it installed in TWRP it started a boot loop. Then I tried to fix this and turned the phone off and flashed an old version of cyanogenmod 13 (03/13). Now it is still stuck in a boot loop. Please help!
Edit: I can get into recovery/fastboot mode.
If you van get into recovery, you should flash system data and cache then flash an old cm with gapps and wait until the boot OR the reboot (5min sometimes).
If it don't boot after that, maybe clean flash through fastboot..?
I have a Samsung Galaxy G4 (T-Mobile version). I had a boot loop on Recovery problem with it. I reflashed the recovery a couple of times, TWRP and CM recovery. Neither wants to start up when I try to boot into recovery. (I have tried adb and using the keys.) Usually when I would flash a new kernel it would drop into recovery. When I upgraded to the nightlies, it went into recovery, installed the kernel, and rebooted.
Now I have a CM 13 kernel, but I am missing the proper gapps package.
Is there a way to install the gapps package with heimdall? Is there a trustable twrp app I can sideload? Is there a trick to get gapps to install with adb?
Looking for a useful solution. Thanks!
After flashing twrp using Odin, are you immediately trying to boot into recovery or are you restarting the phone and booting the rom?
I have rooted my Samsung Tab 3 SM T-110 running kitkat 4.4.2 an year back and flashed CWM but i forgot about it so what i did was flashed CWM again but it didn't flashed properly i guess and i didn't remember that i installed CWM instead of TWRP so after downloading CWM ROM Manager i rather selected TWRP... Then i booted into recovery mode through the ROM Manager app and now i am not able to go back to system.... I have tried factory reset and formatting dalvik cache but nothing seems to work, the phone gets back to the recovery screen... Please Help.
Thank You
install latest recovery for your device and flash it using odin.
Should fix your issue and boot your device to touchwiz
On the SM-T110/111 is only allowed to Boot Ingo Recovery with the Button Combi, if you try an automaticly Reboot by APP you have an Bootloop to the Recovery
I have rooted the phone and installed twrp and after changing build prop, phone get stuck at splash screen. I have tried to wipe dalvik, data, cache in twrp but it still gets stuck at splash screen. How can I do factory reset? I have tried lg bridge but it cant fix it. I can boot into twrp recovery and in download mode.
Reflash twrp
I have put cypherOS 6.0 and flashed it in twrp. I heard that you can use same twrp for every android.

What version are you using?
I used this tutorial for installing twrp https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/howto-complete-guide-to-unlock-twrp-t3370003
It says it's latest twrp.
