It appears that neither the microphone nor the speakers are working.
I've noticed this problem with several different roms and I've just gone back to ice 8.2.2.
I've tried using the phone, voice recorder, running film and audio files and have also run a diagnostic with *#*#3424 #*#
The end result:
Dailing crashes the dailer or the call ends immediately, depending on the ROM.
Trying to run films via youtube returns an error.
Trying to play audio files causes the audio player to stop immediately.
I cannot change the ringtone because I receive a message that the file cannot be played.
Have it broken something or is the phone itself broken?
Audio issues (especially on more than one ROM) are usually due to outdated firmware.
What does it say for hboot, radio number, and OS number on the hboot screen?
If you know how, do fastboot getvar all, and post the results (delete IMEI and serial number before posting).
Hmmm.... outdated firmware...

You're very welcome. Although your firmware didn't' turn out to be outdated (from the getvar data before re-flashing the firmware). The radio baseband number 1.29xx corresponds to the latest firmware 6.xx (last one released for M8, Marshmallow). But sometimes flashing the firmware again will fix audio issues, which was the case for you.

I have a rooted M8, with TWRP and Xposed, but otherwise stock. I've just had the notification for OTA lollipop update, but when I try to install it, it hangs at recovery (which is custom - TWRP). I figure I've got to restore stock recovery - but which one?
I found the list of stock recoveries linked from this forum, but I've no idea which one I should choose. Does it matter?

In settings doesn't show your firmware version. That's your ROM base. Your firmware is 4.16.401.10/13 based on your CID and MID.
You are S-Off, so you can just flash the firmware if you wish. Here's a no wipe version of the leaked 6.12.401.4 MM firmware with TWRP v2.8.7.0 that you can download here.

Based on the above info, I think its one of the following:
4.20.771.2
4.25.771.6
Reason I can say that, is that radio numbers 1.25xxx correspond to version numbers 4.xx. But 4.20 or 4.25, I don't think its possible to determine with the info you have available.
If you are trying to restore to stock using nandroid in order to OTA, it may or may not matter which of the above you restore. My suggestion would be to try one ; and if it doesn't work (OTA fails), try the other.
Nearly don't work vibration: in menu, dialer, hardware key, all keyboards
If attach your ear to the phone, you can hear vibration, but do not feel fingers.
But vibro normal working in incoming call, and in programs where the vibration is used.
Vibro tests from the google market also good works
my first firmware 1.10.605.8. I`m flashing 2,3,4,5,6 versions and last m7vzw_AllInOne_NoBootNoRecovery_FINAL_FIRMWARE_COM BO (6.22.605.6) but It did not help

Did you enable "vibrate on touch" in:

??
You either have it disabled or faulty hardware...

Hello,i'm searching for someone to help me find stock recovery or firmware which i can flash on my HTC One M8 so that i can update my bootloader from 3.16 to 3.19 or any easy way to update it in order to install Lineage Os .My phone seems to be a rare Hong Kong version.I know there has been many threads before and links, but when i find something it's either deleted or not available (I know the phone is quite old,but i still love it).I'm in a huge pickle and i don't know what to do.
I had TWRP 2.4 something and it was waay outdated and i had to update it to the latest which is 3.4.0.0
My phone is S- On.
