I tried following the root guide and the adoptable storage guide on how to install twrp on SM-A520F but TWRP isn't installing. It seems like it works in odin, but when I boot to recovery it's the stock recovery.
Can any help me install TWRP?
Did you enable OEM in your settings?

For future reference: Problem was solved by unchecking "Auto-reboot" in Odin. Had to manually restart the phone after installing twrp.
download other twrp.
Use odin 3.04...

When I try to flash CWM or TWRP Odin says PASS but my tablet just reboots and no recovery is installed. I have installed Kies on my PC and successfully used CF-Auto-Root but recovery just won't install.

can you give more details on what you are doing? Like the ROM your using, does your T999 end in a L or V? Are you coming from a 4.3 OTA or Kies update?
More info might be able to get you more help.

I tried to flash twrp 3.0 zerofltespr and I think it was the wrong file for the wrong device. But the error in Odin Mode I get is "unsupport dev_type". When I plug the phone into the computer, it will autoplay the internal storage and SD card.
any ideas?

I have a Chinese Galaxy Tab pro 8.4 sm-t321, trying to flash TWRP recovery on it using Odin. I have rooted the device using CFAutoroot through Odin.
I downloaded twrp-3.1.1-0-mondrianlte.img.tar and used Odin v3.12.
Odin manages to install correctly (i think?) and it shows "Pass!"

Could someone tell me what i did wrong? How do it get TWRP to install correctly?
I just want to install google play on it and the guide I read needed TWRP to install Open GApps.
Many thanks

Can someone help me on this? My phone was upgrading from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 and then it died, so I turned it back on to download mode, and used a stock image of 5.1.1, and no luck. I tried 6.0.1, and still no luck.

I also unticked the bootloader option.
