No need for the ARDE kernel for this ROM? Even though it's based on CM and other ROMs had random reboots (it depends on the version)

I'm using it withour ARDE kernel, and I think ARDE is for 6045 versions, this is for 6039

Same issue with lockscreen rotation, the toggle doesn't disable it.

Sorry for that, I had to stop the development of PAC-ROM for now, as I am building AICP, wich you can find it HERE(CLICK), because my SSD isn't capable of holding 2 repos, as it is only 120GB :-s

Hi Everyone​ i make new Build of Cyanogen Mod 12.1 who fixes the extremly battery drain (i don't have much time to test it)
This is Modded Build (The build orginally it's made by @The Marionette​
I make Two Builds​
1. CM 12.1 with new Kernel,editted on @The Marionette build from 04/01/2016​
2.CM 12.1 with new kernel.editted on @The Marionette build from 28/02/2016​
Guide:
-Download ROM
-Wipe everything
-Flash Rom, And Gapps
-Reboot and wait to Boot (about 5-10 mins)​

Can you flash the IMG as a kernel in twrp or does it have to be through adb? I'm running this right now and all is smooth. Haven't tested battery yet but with kernel auditor app tweaks I've got the temp running low. Very happy with this. Thanks to marionette and thanks to you if the battery is improved.

I have blue Cyano logo, then optimizing apps (Android is starting, Optimizing xxx of 87, installed pico GApps), then blue Cyano logo again, optimizing apps again... kind a bootloop.
Updating contacts... Finishing boot, then dimmed brightness blue Cyano logo, again & again
6045Y model.
Tested the 2 versions you uploaded = bootloop.

All was going well for me, until I did a reboot and my APN and sim no longer worked. Nothing would help it. 3/11 build.

The kernel doesn't work on Oreo (yet)!

Happens with all resolutions. I already tested Sultans Lineage as well with this kernel and the same thing happens. Don't know if it tries to record it too fast as it seems to be too quick and stutters a lot.
The Los kernel seems to work fine with video recording altough i just dirty flashed it on top of Boefflas kernel.
E:It definetly is the kernel that is causing the stutter.

I'll compare the camera driver present in this kernel and the one in Sultan's kernel, then try to fix this. Unfortunately at the moment this is the best thing we can achieve, CAF camera support had always got some small problems even in erorcun's build if I recall correctly, and these problems are inevitably "inherited" by my kernel.

Firstly i tried to dirty flash kernel on top of LineageOS build (N) by idprophecy, since i got positive experience changing kernels (3.4 ones) this way even with encrypted phone. So when i tried to boot up with new kernel, unfortunately it did not work and phone says my password is correct but encryption partition is broken and i need to hard reset.
I went to clean install, removed encryption and flash same LinOS build + your kernel. Then i encrypted phone again and everything went fine. However now my TWRP refuses password for decrypting partitions (its was like that in early N development for bacon on many roms).
Overall perfomance is not really smooth comparing with 3.4 kernels, but i didnt bothered to play with kernel setting.
Also i cant get MTP working, phone only charging via usb and PC (Windows) cannot see its memory.
I know this report is probably useless without kmsg logs, but i didnt have time to pull them off, so sorry about that. I try do it later

Definitely would need a log, to see what the issue is, with your experiences.
I've been alpha and beta testing this kernel, and I'm not experiencing any of the problems you and other users are describing. Clean install @idprophecy LOS14.1, flash this kernel, reboot back to recovery and flash MagiskSU, enjoy an ultra responsive OPO.

I faced the same MTP problem when I started developing this kernel several months ago. But I'm sure it appeared at a later stage of development. So MTP shouldn't be an issue as of now. Also, according to @Mecca EL, there should be a substantial performance improvement.

What about encryption? Are your TWRP able to decrypt data with this kernel?

I've not set encryption. I've seen way too many problems with that across almost all android devices. I'll see if it's not too much trouble to set and test for you, if I'm able to revert to unencrypted easily.

Well i am using encryption since early MM and not a single problem if developer of rom and kernel did his work fine. Biggest payoff its hit battery.
Unfortunately you cant revert encryption without formating whole internal storage, so its a little bit complicated with backups and etc

MTP is not working for me either, I'm using the CAF kernel on LineageOS by Sultan.

Important information
I will not reply to complains that do not include clear steps to reproduce the bug, a logcat, and a console ramoops (if random rebooting) or a dmesg (any other issues). Follow this guide to do this.

Installation:
NOTE: Please make sure that you return to the stock kernel of the ROM before flashing this kernel. The kernel is unified for Moto G4 and the Plus variant so everything should be working fine.

Reboot into the bootloader using either restart and hold power button and volume down or adb:

Stock version won't be released any sooner. I don't have the time for it right now and compilation process of stock kernel is a bit different than CAF kernels. Maybe before the second week of January.

IDK I don't have the time, we already have so many ROMs available. Creating a new ROM will be adding it to the huge list already available, from AOSP to LineageOS to Dirty Unicorns. I would rather work on optimizing what we have. Quality > Quantity.

Does not boot on LOS15. Can anyone else confirm? Cant do logs cause my data port on my phone is broken. It sits on the boot screen like its loading but never fully boots.

Tried it but I got bootloop.
Using latest Resurrection Remix Rom With Stock kernel on XT-1643.
Missed the logcat.
Should I have to flash the magisk again after installing kernel?, may be this was the reaseon I got bootloop because boot.img was changed and again installing magisk could help with that.

I don't think so. If magisk is installed/flashed once, then no need of flashing ever again until you freshly install the rom. (AFAIK)

Should I have to flash the magisk again after installing kernel?, may be this was the reaseon I got bootloop because boot.img was changed and again installing magisk could help with that.

i think its using prev rom because still have bugs of battery percentage location. its quite annoying for me..

It is fimwareless but in the web you can find the firmware to flash, this firmware is arb free in all devices. Magisk Works well

Do you have any magisk module loaded? Which version? running butter smooth here with magisk 16.7

with the firmware in the OP the phone is stuck in a bootloop

no module, just only clean root cause lag.
I root with latest stable magisk version 17.1
my step is
1. flash rom
2. firmware
3. magisk
4. wipe cache and dalvik
5. boot to system

I was on Miui MS and wiped system, cache and Dalvik.
Installed RevOs and booted..
After first boot I went to recovery again and flashed magisk 17.1
After this boot again, it took more time than first ROM boot.
When it booted it was very laggy, so I waited a minute and restart.
After that it's working fine, no lag till now.

from a different rom,always need clean flash..
conflicts?? ... Ofcourse no, if you do right installation
(better & before you flash it, read carefully FAQ etc)

Miui MS had much better battery then this one.
Unfortunately MS doesn't have multilanguage.
