Battery Drain when sensors are not working

guys does someone or anyone expirience Battery Drain when sensors are not working and the temperature will sky high, i dont know which rom has that problem, encountered it in MIUI v5 stock rom, even tried CM11 all updates, then flash custom kernel but still randomly expirience Battery Drain when sensors are not working...

Take a logcat and look inside for the errors/warnings.If you don't find anything unusual in the logs then it's just the hardware problem.

Same - only reboot helps ...
DECURO Rom MIUI-45.0.0

yes reboot the device and its back to normal,...
i encountered it maybe once a week or so,,...

It's fixed on latest OTA v50
sensors.qcom seems to give battery drain issues on v45, but after trying v50 for a while there is no wakelock for that process when not in use.
So v50 is good to go....

Hi Zuk fans,
I just bought Zuk z2, two days ago. I heard like, there are heading issues with this phone. So I would like to under clock the phone. Currently, I'm on 7.o stock..
My question....
1) can I under clock CPU to 1.9 on stock ROM? If yes, how to do that and plz let me know the process and what all required for this.
2) I would like to downgrade to 6.0 as this enables 24 bit dac on our device. So, how to downgrade on a locked and non rooted phone???
3) is there any custom kernel that supports stock OS???

2) Use QFIL and flash 2.3.042 (China) or 2.0.133 (India).
3) As I know there are no custom kernels which will work on stock.

You can root without any problems.
Don't know anything about underclock, because I don't interested in such operations.

You can use kernel audiutor to underclock

@srihari210 seems that jaguar kernel is working on stock rom, although it wasn't supposed to, but with some limitations, as you can see in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74071330&postcount=296
i hadn't used the stock rom for much time, but you can try to root it (with magisk maybe, i don't know) and set cpu frequencies with kernel adiutor

But my device don't have any heating issue? It runs on stock frequency 2.15.

What about heavy gaming??? I think it's safe to have 1.9 Freq....

I want performace and battery in balance
And no bugs or fc
If any one can suggest good rom than it will be appriciated

The best ROM based on my usage are as below
1) Viper OS (discontinued but the best rom for stability, battery life and performance)
2) Purefusion ROM (Can be called as reborn Viper 2.0 if not for some minor fc with YouTube.)
3) AOSPEX (Stability and performance)
4) Jaguar (Stability and battery life)

I got a problem in viper os when i connect it to pc i cant acces my phones storage in pc it doesn't even shows up there but in twrp it shows up and i can access that
So what could be the possible solution for this ??

Everything works, good battery, the only ROM that can play 3d games without lags (it's from September though) but i still can't find anything worthy of replacing it

Heliox kernel 15.10 build
MAgisk v14
opengapps pico
no battery drain, deep sleep exelent, camera good, good performance also battery, no bugs.

Check the notification panel, phone would have been connected in 'charge only' panel. Change it to 'mtp' or 'file transfer' mode.

You can go with citrus 3.1 if you play heavy games and you need juice at the end of the day.

Battery drain issue and heating issue

Hey everyone few days ago i flashed lineage Os On my Motorola g4 plus.. after flashing i noticed huge battery drain and heating issues in my device .. will this be fixed or i need to go back to stock .. anyone help me with this.. thanks in advance

You will have to fix it yourself. Try restarting a few times. Search in battery settings for big consumption. Search the official LOS thread of your device.

CPU Maxed after flashing Lineage OS

flashed lineage os 18.1 on my 6 pro, and it was heating very badly.. because cpu was running at 100 percent. it has a sd 625.. it think of it as a kernel issue, so i was thinking to flash boot.img from stock miui (android 9) from fastboot as it would restore the stock kernel.. is it possible to use that stock kernel in Lineage .. pls help .. battery life has drastically decreased, and if there is any other kernel pls do let me know (should work without root as i want to use banking apps and all)
