Hi guys i bought a Mi 5s in past week and i was trying to unlock the bootlader. But whenever i try to unlock the bootlader it can only come to 99% and i get an error which is below. Also i do not have mi unlock status in develoepr options on global stable rom 8.0.3.0(MAGMIDI)

maybe i can get mi unlock status option if i install global beta 7.5.25
i am not sure if i can still install global stable 8.2.1.0(MAGMIDL) which has mi unlock status and which is not available on en.miui.com
then i will try with china developer rom
if still cant unlock the bootlader i will be have to wait for next miui update for mi 5s to developers add mi unlock status
I had that too, you will probably find 2 mi account numbers on your phone at least that's what i had.
Im not sure if one account is setup from whoever you buy the phone from so they can change the rom.
Mine unlocked after i used the other mi account number linked to my email address.

After i insalled global beta 7.5.25 "Mi Unlock Status" came out. But this time Mi Unlock Tool says that i have to wait 72 hours I tried some older versions of MUT but they need to be upgraded.
You hsould also try dev rom, not stable one
I have same problem.. cant unlock bootloader in global stable.. trying flash another rom from fastboot and from updater and not success anyone
So sad
Ask Xiaomi to give unlock permission. The use deep flash cable to flash developer rom. In developer options add Mi account and enable unlock. Use Xiaomi tool to unlock bootloader.
There are plenty of guides on the internet.
What does it mean to wait 72 hours? I discovered that i can't apply for unlocking permissions anymore, why?

Yes you can apply for unlocking permissions, i did'it last week and in 6 hours they give me permission. All you have to do is to log with you account on they'r site, apply and wait.

there is no box for applying for permissions, that is the case
Try here: http://www.miui.com/unlock/index_en.html , you have to Be logged with miui account to apply, there is a button: unlock now

hello
i buy unlocked redmi note 5 from aliexpress.
its mec7s model but, miui was 9.5.6.0. mee7s.
same day i ota upgrade to 9.5.13.0. and work fine.
Then i try instal miui 10 global beta fastboot rom with XiaomiFlash, and after instalation is complete, phone is stuck in bootloop.
i made mistake and select clean all and lock.
then i with xiaomiadb put again global stable 9.5.13.0 and
after mesage "encrypting don't reboot your phone" phone goes to bootloop and reset to mi-recovery 3,0.
any idea how to solve this bootloop ?
thank you
If the bootloader was locked again. Unlock with miflash unlock tool and flash fastboot miui 10 with Clean All only
its not possible because i recived unlocked phone from seller and
my phone is not bounded to my mi account.
im login to mi accound and i didnt bound phone to my mi account.
is there any other way to unlock phone again?
Try to borrow his account to unlock your device. Or ask for official unlock permission from xiaomi. If you have an account that has already unlocked a device then you can use that. Or you can try to flash via testpoint. Or you may try to flash the CHINA Recovery ROM with mi assistant. Follow my tut:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/how-to/tut-flashing-official-recovery-rom-t3798165
I try all 3 rom in your tutorial.
China and india can not be instaled because rom package verification and with global is ok, but same problem with bootloop after is instaled.
i can only flash to 9.5.6.0 and again to 9.5.13.0 with MiPhoneAssistantBeta3.0. nothing else work.

Have you tried wiping data on mi recovery? Have you tried flashing fastboot rom again with Mi Flash Tool? Can you install any custom recovery via fastboot?
wiping data - no results
flashing fastboot rom and install custom recover is not possible because phone is locked
I have a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 official global version (4/64 GB) and I've been trying to unlock the bootloader with the Mi Unlock software, but despite trying many times I always end up with the error that appears in the image. I've tried everything I've seen on the Internet but without any success. I've seen some people say that you have to wait a few days but it's been a week already and no luck. It could also be a problem of drivers but I've tried a few and still no results (maybe I don't install them correctly).
I really don't know what to do anymore and I would appreciate your help.

You have to wait 720 hours (30 days - new time frame) before you can unlock the bootloader.

That happens during the second step "Unlocking". He can't get there to activate the 720 hrs countdown...
@Aldagar
Did you bind your Mi account in Settings > Additional settings > Developer option > Mi Unlock Status? Does your Mi account have unlock permission? Any firewalls preventing Mi Unlock talking to Xiaomi servers?
I had the same error message first using a 3.0 USB port... Switching to a 2.0 USB port did the trick...
Try another pc. That helped for a lot of people.

THANK GOD. I think that was it. I had to try with another PC since mine only has USB 3.0 ports, but it worked. Now after days of trying the program tells me to wait 261 hours to unlock the device... Well, thank you so much for your reply anyway.
I've tried everything, please help.. I factory reset a few times, used a VPN, turned on Find device and sync (except SMS and phone because it won't activate my SIM), USB debugging, OEM unlock are all on and it's still the same. Of course I've waited about two weeks... It's on MIUI 12.0.6.0 Global and won't check for updates (says can't connect to network) I'm pretty sure something about its IMEI or something is broken too but IDK how to fix it. I'd love to get some help please
How many hours did it tell you to wait for unlocking?
Are you 100% sure the drivers are installed correctly on your computer and the phone is detected correctly?
When you start MiUnlock, did you click in the top right corner and update the app to the latest version before requesting unlock?
Edit:
When I unlocked my phone, the Mi Account said that the sim wasn't activated but I could still send and receive SMS.

Hi all.
I need your help because my MI PAD 5 is bricked.
I bought it on a French site, but it arrived with a global version and an unlocked bootloader.
As I didn't like it, I locked the bootloader.
I should not have. Now I boot into recovery, because the system that is installed is not the right one.
I think it is Chinese version with global rom installed.
Unfortunately, I can't unlock the bootloder again.
Do you know how I can get out of this?
Thanks in advance.
Can you go into Fastboot mode?
Download the latest Chinese Fastboot ROM and try flashing it through MiFlash. It should work and restore your tablet back.
Hi,
Yes, i can go in fasstboot mode.
I'll let you know if it works.
Thank you.

It is maybe a Tw tablet...
I try TW firmware.
Thanks.
Fail. Same error with TW firmware.
