redmi note 5 unsolving bootloop ? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

hello
i buy unlocked redmi note 5 from aliexpress.
its mec7s model but, miui was 9.5.6.0. mee7s.
same day i ota upgrade to 9.5.13.0. and work fine.
Then i try instal miui 10 global beta fastboot rom with XiaomiFlash, and after instalation is complete, phone is stuck in bootloop.
i made mistake and select clean all and lock.
then i with xiaomiadb put again global stable 9.5.13.0 and
after mesage "encrypting don't reboot your phone" phone goes to bootloop and reset to mi-recovery 3,0.
any idea how to solve this bootloop ?
thank you

If the bootloader was locked again. Unlock with miflash unlock tool and flash fastboot miui 10 with Clean All only

its not possible because i recived unlocked phone from seller and
my phone is not bounded to my mi account.
im login to mi accound and i didnt bound phone to my mi account.
is there any other way to unlock phone again?

Try to borrow his account to unlock your device. Or ask for official unlock permission from xiaomi. If you have an account that has already unlocked a device then you can use that. Or you can try to flash via testpoint. Or you may try to flash the CHINA Recovery ROM with mi assistant. Follow my tut:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/how-to/tut-flashing-official-recovery-rom-t3798165

I try all 3 rom in your tutorial.
China and india can not be instaled because rom package verification and with global is ok, but same problem with bootloop after is instaled.

i can only flash to 9.5.6.0 and again to 9.5.13.0 with MiPhoneAssistantBeta3.0. nothing else work.

Have you tried wiping data on mi recovery? Have you tried flashing fastboot rom again with Mi Flash Tool? Can you install any custom recovery via fastboot?

wiping data - no results
flashing fastboot rom and install custom recover is not possible because phone is locked

unable to install or launch TWRP

Hey,
I've unlocked my Mi 6 today (i'm using the global developer ROM 8.9.13 (MIUI10)) and wanted to root it, as many guides said I have to replace the default recovery with something like TWRP
result was:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
after leaving it like that for 30 minutes nothing has changed, the screen on my mobile was the the default fastboot screen nothing ever changed
so i tried to just launch TWRP without installing it:
nothing changed like before and i've stopped after 5minutes
i also have the same result with RedWolf Recovery Project:
I also tried using XiaoMiTool but all i got was the message that my phone is not connected to my MiAccount and still locked and did nothing
Does anyone have any idea whats going?
Edit:
seems like flashboot commands dont work? tried flashboot continue to reboot the device after checking with fastboot devices to see if it was recognized by the system and it was indeed.
and the result were the same as above cmd was stuck mobile didnt react....
Thanks

I'd rather flash the recovery than just booting to it. You can flash it with fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You should be able to boot to recovery afterwards. Or at least that's what I did when I bought my phone. I updated to the latest version of MIUI (android 8.0), then I enabled "oem unlock") and I was able to flash twrp with no problems. Keep in mind that the stock rom erases any custom recovery with the default one on boot.
Facing the same issue. Tried everything but no success.

no sensor work!
PLEASE HELP ME.
THANKS
Looking at the changelog, I won't flash this rom to my phone. If I were you, I'd download a MIUI 10 version from Xiaomi eu, a fastboot version. And will flash it using MiFlash, formatting storage (drop down menu, bottom right). Don't try MIUI 11 if you plan to go back to MIUI 10. I didn't play much with that, but tried a few times - downgrade fails with boot loop.
It's finaly fixed!
1. Phone into EDL mode with testpoint
2. Flash last official miui 9 global with miflash
3. Update to miui 10.1 with ota
4. Sing in to mi account and once time find device in brower
5. Unlock bootloader with mi unlock tools.
6. Install twrp with fastboot
7. After First time install twrp, dont turn off device / in Cmd type: fastboot boot twrp.img ( else stok recovery will be restored ! )
8. In twrp a clean install miui 11.0.2 eu
9. And finally everything is ok!
Thanks to me for a few time test and try and xda forum!
??
I have same issue with my Mi5S and I'm going to get a kit to open the phone. In the same time since phone will be opened I'll change the battery with a new one
1. You need to have a TWRP
2. Using the same rom/fastboot rom, search for the persist.img
3. Copy persist.img to root of the device
4. Boot into recovery (TWRP)
5. On Advanced Terminal type this
simg2img /sdcard/persist.img /sdcard/persist_EXT4.img
then type this
dd if=/sdcard/persist_EXT4.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist
Reboot

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 256GB Chinese version Bricked

Hello, I need someone to explain to me the issue I’m facing with my phone. So I have a Xiaomi
Redmi note 8 pro (256GB Chinese version) that was working just fine until I installed the update of Android 11. After the update, google services was not working. I proceeded to unlock it and flashing it with the Mi Flash because I wanted to change the ROM to the global version, I chose the “clean all” option instead of “clean all and lock”. After the flash completed the phone showed an error (with a statement I did not pay attention to or read) and then it didn’t turn on (and only the LED was on). I tried to flash it again but it didn’t fix it. After that, I found a tool to bypass Xiaomi protection and I flashed it again with SP flash tool and switched it to the Global version (StockROM file after extraction= 6GB). It remained bricked so I flashed it back to the Chinese ROM with StockROM firmware upgrade, yet the phone is still broken but the LED is sometimes on (always on when I put it to charge). Can anyone help me please?

Hey bro you somehow softbricked your device. make sure you have a backup and flash latest firmware through mi flash tool. This wil format complete storage and reinstall it as new.
if you have unlocked the bootloader before you should not use the relock option in mi flash tool.
Download Xiaomi Flash Tool - Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool Download
Download Xiaomi Flash tool is for Xiaomi smartphone and tablet device users that runs on Windows PC platforms to flash fastboot firmware files on Xiaomi smartphones. All versions of Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool download is available here
www.xiaomiflash.com
Unless modded, patched or worked around, SafetyNet wouldn't pass on that device.
Certification could... if the Play Store doesn't take ctsProfileMatch into account because that part would be false, at the very least because of the unlocked bootloader.
In any case, the usual procedure should suffice:
Set phone to Fastboot mode (Vol- pressed at power on).
Flash the appropriate ROM either manually or using any of the Fastboot GUIs (e.g. Mi Flash).
That's about it, re-lock bootloader if you wish, don't think it's necessary.
Besides, if you get the same outcome after the procedure (say the unlocked bootloader mattered and you don't want to root or patch anything), you can always lock it, and then clear the data of the Play Store and Google Player Services (for good measure haha); it should force it to reevaluate its certification status.
And yeah, clearing user data is probably appropriate when flashing.
Don't be so hasty with MIUI 13, you're not missing much

Hello, you can now restore only the bootloader and the system via fastboot. To do this, download the rom ,, https://xiaomirom.com/en/download/xiaomi-pad-5-nabu-stable-V13.0.4.0.RKXMIXM/#global-fastboot ".
You must have previously unlocked the bootloader via MI unlock tool before you can flash the Global rom .
Then you will have the normal Global MIUI Android on again.

Thanks, but the problem is that I flashed a different rom using the flash tool and accidentally looked the boot loader, after this it won't start, the boot loader is locked and I'm not able to do anything.
You should be able to unlock it again using the xiaomi unlock tool, because it should keep oem unlock setting open.
You must boot at fastboot and Unlovk with the Tool. You dosnt wait 7 days. It works Instant and then you can flash fastboot Rom of your choice
You mean you unlocked a global one and flashed a Europe official rom and locked it and it got stuck?? I'm in the same boat, i have TR and i want to flash EU. I'm waiting the 7 days at the moment to unlock the bootloader. Advice pls
