Cubot x15. Belulah 1.0 Rom - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Monring all,
Long story short, I stupidly set my DPI way too high on my phone and now the phone is stuck in the bootloop, I have tried going into recovery and wiping the data and deleting the cache. My pc wont recognise the phone so I cant reflash. I have spoken to the company who want me to send the phone to Poland at my expense and it may take 1.5 months to sort but with a custom ROM installed in assuming they wont touch it anyway.
Im gutted, I really like the phone and want to get it back up and running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Liam

[Q] Sending a rooted GSM Nexus back for repairs, please help me!

Hello,
My Gnex was in a bootloop 1 week after purchasing it, (I was running ICS then) now I have JB, after wiping all my data, I decided I should root it, (stock ROM) and unlock it, so I could make Nandroids, now once again, it got in a bootloop, I know how to relock it, but I can`t unroot it for some reason( I am using WugfreshDkit).
My problem is now, my computer crashed with the back up I made before installing Custom blue Softkeys, I need to send it back to the service center, and I am afraid I will get the response ""This is your own mistake for tampering with your phone"" I already backed everything up, and I am able to Lock the device, but it still has root, Will they mind this? does anyone have experience with this? and does anyone know for a fix for the softkeys?
I know it has one hardware defect,( Connecting the chargedock to the Motherboard) and the bootloops...
Also, If I get a new phone, is it save to just Unlock & Root it and use my Nandroid backups on it? or does this give a chance that it will get bootloops again?
I know Sprint and Verizon make a big deal about this, and even charge people for it... Will samsung do this too?
Already got it, Also after Wiping I got updates to 4.2.1

[Q] Desperate need of help. Startup wizard not starting. Reward!!!

Ok guys I sold my phone on Glyde the other day and have to ship it. Basically I rooted it awhile ago and used the Cyanogen mod. What happened was that I tried to uninstall it with fiddling around on my phone and I basically just broke it!!!!

Note I have a macbook and that is all. I am really just looking to get it working again, I cleared everything like all the caches in recovery mode and did all the resets like the factory resets/data wipe and both the cache wipes even the weird named Dilvijik or whatever in the advanced settings.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
If you want even email me or private message me or whatever!
I can offer you a reward if you help me. IDK if that's allowed but if it isn't sorry, just email me lol.
PLEASE HELP THIS PHONE IS MY LIFE!
Factory reset and then reflash CM or whatever ROM you choose.
Alternatively you could flash the factory images to return to stock.

HTC One M8 - Soft brick on unrooted phone (apart from OS upgrades)

I've had my M8 since about the end of 2014. Originally on Android 4, have since done OTA upgrades to 5 and 6 as they were flagged as available by my carrier (UK, O2).
I've never managed to get HTC Backup on my PC to recognise the phone, even with the original USB cable, so have never done a proper backup (Yes. I know). Fortunately for me, my Gmail contacts list was almost up to date, and apart from my calendar, that was the most important thing to save, so I've just had to grin and bear it.
Because of the lack of proper backup and therefore the facility to restore from one, I'd never done a factory reset after the various OS upgrades, which I've been told might have avoided my present situation, which is that I can't get any further than a bootloop situation. Other than that, I can get into recovery mode, but no further.
I've tried clearing the cache, I've tried a factory reset. Neither of those have got me anywhere.
I've no great desire (at present) to go fiddling with rooting or anything clever with the phone, I'd just like to get it working again. I've downloaded Android Studio to get the SDK for ADB but don't really know what I'm doing, and if I mess around without expert advice I could end up with a hard brick - which is why I'm here.
Can anyone give me some guidance about what I need to do to get my phone working again?
Thanks in advance...
Hi, I have the same problem, started a few days ago when I was trying to download VLC from the play store, the phone rebooted and said optimizing apps.... It has been in an optimizing apps bootloop since - it gets to the end, then says starting android then freezes and reboots, then starts again... I tried clearing the cache and doing the factory reset as well but nothing helps. We could really use some expert help on this :S
If a stock phone isn't booting, and factory reset doesn't help, the OS is possibly damaged or corrupted in some way; and needs to be restored.
If your version has RUU, you can try to run that.
If no RUU for your version, then probably your only choice is to unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery, so you can restore a stock TWRP backup from the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
I am in a very similar situation, apparently because of a botched automatic system update, almost same symptoms as airick94. I haven't tried a factory reset yet though, because I want to try to recover what I can from the internal storage first. Can I do that through ADB even if my phone is not recognised as a device by the computer?

No OS on galaxy n4 sprint. No back up or restore point

No OS installed. I have twrp installed. So literally when i turn it on it goes directly into recovery menu. Apparently I have no back up or restore point. This is a Sprint galaxy note 4. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have been looking for a factory reset firmware somewhere online cant find one. Funny thing is my wife has the same exact phone. I thought making a back up and restore point for her phone would work on mine, but it didnt lol. Please I would be very grateful for help.
Hello, you could get the official software and use odin to get it back all the way to stock, or you can also just flash a custom rom since you already have twrp. To install a custom rom, all you need to do is download the rom and place it on a micro sd card, boot into twrp, and flash the rom from the micro sd.
Thank you for your reply how ever my trouble is finding an OS that works for my note 4 sprint device. I have downloaded dozens and dozens of different roms and so called " factory firmware" but seem to have no lucks. i have the recovery software installed twrp. when i go into there and try to load rom i still get error that says no os installed..
Thanks for the input i will close this thread now. my problem was not being patient at the bootload screen. I automatically assumed that something was wrong because it was stuck at the sprint spark yellow screen how ever little did i know a little bit of patients would have saved me numerous amounts of hours of research. Lost sleep, called off of work, and canceled weekend plans due to a little lack of patience. Well you live and you learn i really appreciate you taking time out to reply.

Bootloop on Rooted Pure Nexus ROM

*Irrelevant thread*
@Omnitrix4m3
Call Project Fi. Talk to them. They'll probably send a replacement (no waiting for repair). You can always talk to them and then after hearing what they say decide no.

Wow. I spend so much time on Reddit ignoring these threads until today.
Allow me to set the scene, I'm a student who loves to tinker and modify, and the idea of unlocking my bootloader, rooting, and running custom ROMs on my device seemed fascinating at first. Becoming an avid user of this after fashing my device countless times and performing backups, I began to find a system thatworked for my device and was stable. Having not flashed anything for months on my phone, I had no reason to take a backup of my phone. Until today.
Realizing I had too many garbage apps on my phone, too much RAM being used, and my SOT being garbage, I decided on deleting some of the 222 apps I keep for fun on my phone. With that, I used my phone's built in free space client which cleared unused apps and saved photos. However, it also included my downloads folder where I consciously chose my downloaded ROM and vendor images to save space (Remember, my build was stable at the time and I wanted space to do an eventual nandroid backup). After deleting those flashable files I continued about my day as usual. However, until the end of the day I realized my phone was logged out of my school's wifi, so I logged back in. My phone then began to lag, and a combination of the phone and me using the powerbutton allowed it to reboot. Then it began to bootloop. Normally as a flasher bootloops are easy to get rid of, or may ensue for minutes after flashing a file, however this was consistent and I had no ROM to flash over it, muchless boot to TWRP to do it. I couldn't boot to anything but the system's own recovery mode. I gave the phone some time alone and tried to research how to fix the problem without opening the phone up and soldering. When I attempted again to boot the phone I realized I got boot into TWRP. However, that was shortlived as, when I tried to make a backup the phone froze and rebooted. Going home with my head in my hands, I later tried booting an hour and a half later making my whole boot animation until the very end when the name is shown and the lock screen should load, that's when it began to loop again. I spoke to my father who bought the phone through Project Fi, who recommended me to talk to support. However I just realized: A) If I send it, I lose my data or have it tampered with in a repair. B) If they attempt to boot it, they will see its void of warranty due to the bootloader unlock and rooting and might not honor my warranty (although people have done it after warranty, NOT BECAUSE IT WAS DEVOID BY UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER/ROOTING). C) I bought it on sale for like $250 for 32 GB so money I get back won't cover a Pixel or another phone I can tinker with again with AOSP roms (and I'm not trying to wait two years for Android O, the only other phone I would consider is a OnePlus 5 which launches in the summer and would be around $450).
What would you guys suggest I do?
1. DIY solder and fix
2. Continue tampering to find way to copy off data (I need suggestions)
3. Send it back completely wiped or in way it is to fix
4. Have it replaced with money (and then what phone would I buy?)
And finally do I go to Google Store, Project Fi, or LG to have this issue resolved while ommitting the fact it has been modified?
P.S.: While writing this, this actually booted up for 5 minutes and worked until it crashed and entered the loop again.

If you can get into recovery again, do a factory reset and see if it'll boot. If so, take the opportunity to back up your files then flash the factory images to go back to stock so you can get a replacement. Good luck
