Is there a way to do this?
If not, what's the best and most "stock feeling" ROM to use to pass safetynet?

I'm on a Pure Nexus 7.1.1 Build, from about a month ago. Safety Net broke on here to out of no where. Most likely a new working version will be coming out soon?
Running latest pure Nexus and safety net passes. Change to core only in settings (for magisk) and it fixes it.

A search for stock and magisk would've led you here...

I figured it out. After hearing the news that it only works in core mode, that fixed it

It is only present in MHC19J. Fair warning, if you decide to update, TWRP seems like it needs an update in order to view internal storage.

No clue, I just know MHC19J is supposed to have the following according to the Google employee on Reddit:
General slow/sluggish performance
DND next alarm disappearing issue
Bluetooth/WiFi improvements
Carrier-specific bug fixes
Edt: MHC19J is also our March OTA. The Nexus 6P received a similar build yesterday.
The V build is just the build with the March update the J build fixes some bugs and such as posted above. Honestly, I don't notice much of a difference with the J update (I was on Q before). I'm running the J build on my 5x and the N preview on my 6p.

Using MHC19J since yesterday coming from the february version and it is a new phone. 300% speed increasement, camera also much faster. This is the version it should has been in november.
Not 7.1.2, but 7.2
Has anyone in any beta programs heard anything about its release for Pixel XL?
It's going to have some Bluetooth commits I want to test with asap.
Nope. 7.1.2 is next in line. 7.2 might never happen.

How do you know it will have any specific commits?
They don't even push source for the beta (except for kernel source, and that is even delayed most the time).

I don't know anything for sure.
But I'm going off this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71110879&postcount=256
OK, it needs to be backported, or you could just wait, because it looks merged to n-mr2 which could be 7.2, I think
(preview 2 has it with renamed library names):

mr2 should be 7.1.2? 7.1.1 was the first maintenance release

Google said in the coming months....Am I the only one that thinks beta testing for a 0.0.1 increment for two months is a bit absurd? Anyways were due for security patches on Monday so hopefully they will roll out the next MR with it. Almost all my Google apps were updated the last two days so that's usually a good sign.

I'm hoping for a beta release of Android O, considering we got a beta for N in march last year.

Betas get updates. At least the ones I've been in get small updates until the official version releases.

Google never stated an update release with 7.1.2 like they did with the N beta program 7.1 beta

The little Pixel has a problem with the update. Google is looking into it according to a report yesterday I read. I dont believe its generic or carrier specific, just a problem with the 5 inch model.
http://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-install-problem-july-security-update-785395/
Does google pulled out the OTA update server for pixel and pixel XL?
my both pixel XL (one is with May update and the other one is with June) and Pixel ( with May update) can't see any updates
This is the Pixel XL forum. I don't care about the little Pixel

"generic build"
can you elaborate (as asked above)
are you bootloader unlocked or locked?
rooted?
custom rom? (guessing not)
if you are rooted, then you'll need to manually update instead of getting OTA
Same boat, I have a stock XL from google store. As of 12:46P EST in the 7th I can't get the monthly security update.
Stock - not rooted, unlocked, straight from Alphabet.

Those who are not getting the OTA update simply download the OTA and sideload it via ADB, simple.
If anyone knows developers for the Pixel 2 XL could you kindly like their Twitter and XDA name? I want to stay up-to-date on development activity
Deestroy, not sure how you spell it, and flar2.

.
They're aren't many developing for pixel/oreo that have actually released anything. Dees_troy for TWRP recovery, Chainfire for SuperSU root and flar2 for ElementalX kernel have been great. Can't think of a single 8.0 rom developed for pixel.
