Anyone heard rumors about 7.2 beta release? - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Not 7.1.2, but 7.2
Has anyone in any beta programs heard anything about its release for Pixel XL?
It's going to have some Bluetooth commits I want to test with asap.

Nope. 7.1.2 is next in line. 7.2 might never happen.

How do you know it will have any specific commits?
They don't even push source for the beta (except for kernel source, and that is even delayed most the time).

I don't know anything for sure.
But I'm going off this post:

OK, it needs to be backported, or you could just wait, because it looks merged to n-mr2 which could be 7.2, I think
(preview 2 has it with renamed library names):

mr2 should be 7.1.2? 7.1.1 was the first maintenance release

Which phone are you on? I'm on the LG G2 D803 and on PA Beta 6 and we have Halo. However, according to this tweet, it seems as if Halo will be dead soon anyway: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/0...mber-says-halo-is-dead-more-features-to-come/

When we will get the first 7.0 build?

How long does it take?
What are you thinking?
Do yourself a favor and just wait until there's a CM14 thread, lol.
I can't wait :c

You could build AOSP for us if you can't wait
Unofficial builds pop up for Oneplus devices rather soon - and often, Experimental builds are sooner. Id wager in about 2 weeks we will se some delicious Nougat. Although if i was an impatient child, Id learn to build ROMs myself lol.
An official build from Oneplus? Check back when they unveil the Oneplus 4 #NeverSoon
Even opo got Aosp build of N.
Even the Galaxy tab s
Soon ™
When my dratini turn into dragonite.
It's out when it's out if you are impatient just learn to build AOSP yourself with the blobs from marshmallow and see what happens.

cm14 builds from unkown person

Hey,
someone (omvir) in the cm14 unofficial forum by taker18 found this on the internet: https://nyyu.tk/cm/
Does anybody know who is building this? And the download are very slow(15-20kb/s) so i cant test it :/
Edit. I found him http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-nexus-5-t3447048
He is on the nexus 5 forum.
Did you test It??

no not yet.
but i will download it (it takes ~15minutes) but only with netherlands vpn. without it takes 4-6hours
The builds over https://nyyu.tk/cm/ are built by XDA user phoval. He's been very good Nexus 5 (CAF) nightly build provider for many months already. Can say as trustworthy, but I have not tried this one myself though.

7.1.2 on Monday?

Google said in the coming months....Am I the only one that thinks beta testing for a 0.0.1 increment for two months is a bit absurd? Anyways were due for security patches on Monday so hopefully they will roll out the next MR with it. Almost all my Google apps were updated the last two days so that's usually a good sign.

I'm hoping for a beta release of Android O, considering we got a beta for N in march last year.

Betas get updates. At least the ones I've been in get small updates until the official version releases.

Do you think Android P will come to OP3?

Hi, just a question and I know its pretty early to know, but what are your thoughts of Android P coming to our devices? Could it be possible?
Official? No.
Unofficial? Definitely.

I agree, maybe not official but we sure get it from someone
I know for O, One Plus are doing a good job with the Beta program. What concerns me is there lack of support for general release. Because of this, I'm tempted to say we wont get P.
I know that P will be available. It still is a very capable device...I wish the devs could port the dev P version to our 3Ts...but not asking for any ETAS tho
I am sure it will come from the devs. I am having a Nexus 4 running an 8.1 ROM and OP3 is the spiritual successor to the N4. So the devs will always be there, thank God!

Yup. A bit unexpected as the phone is past planned 2 years of active development, but I won't complain.
4 major OS versions, not bad for a non Nexus/Pixel/Android One device.

I hope they'll port Treble like they did to OP5/T so we can never let OP3/T die.
OnePlus is on the right path though unexpected P update for a 2-year-old phone, awesome.
