I have a strange issue with the camera app as it keeps stopping even after a factory reset.
I am wondering if it is safe to reflash the stock firmware with the following firmware:
XT1635-02_ADDISON_7.0_NPNS25.137-24-1-4_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Would a reflash solve the camera problem?
Do you think it's safe to proceed since the phone is on stock?
The phone is on NPNS25-137-24-1-9 (April 1, 2017 security patch) retgb.
TIA

Hi, my phone has been having shutdown issues, within camera apps, and you have to pull the battery...especially
when using the flash, just recently i booted into safe mode, and it is also failing there as well, within the bog standard lg camera app....does this doom it to being a hardware issue ?? Cheers !
Have you tried to do a factory reset? btw on which stock android version are you?
Hello, I'm having a strange issue with March Security Patch update. 3 days ago I received via ota this update, did it and everything was OK. The day after, I rebooted the phone, and sudden it turns black and rebooted by itself looping on coloured little balls before G logo. Another reboot and when it turns on I noticed that it downgraded by itself on February patch security, giving me the March update aviable via ota again.
I reupdated but the day after, once again the same thing. And once again yesterday...and once again today. What have I to do?

Is your bootloader unlocked or any root or anything of that sort? That's a very weird issue. There are reports of the Nexus 6 being downgraded to 7.0 by Google but I'm not sure if it's a software push they are doing to cause that to happen.
You may have to wipe cache and try the update again.

I tried to wipe cache from settings, storage but didn't work. Yes I've unlocked bootloader but no root. Could this be the problem?
No, shouldn't affect anything just being unlocked. Now if you installed TWRP, that might cause this. I didn't use an OTA to go to the march update so idk if it might be at fault, I was on pure Nexus so chose to flash the factory image and haven't had any issues so far.
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
Solved flashing the latest factory image via fastboot
I've a strange issue when I charge my MotoZPlay.
If I pluggin (with the original turbocharger), the phone simply says Charging (on the battery screen), but the battery icon on the status bar has no change.
But If I reboot the phone, it charges normally.
Stock rom, on January security patch
Any idea or suggestion?
Already did a Wipe dalvik cache, still the same issue.
I think it's due to System UI tuner.
Disable it and check.
If the problem still exists, perform hard reset.
It's a software problem and can be solved by a reset.
First, update your device to latest version(April Security Patch).
And then Hard reset it.
Cheers!

Sorry for the late response.
As you said, its a SW issue.
Tried upgrading to aprils patch, with hard reset and nothing happenend, the problem was still in there
Upgrading to 7.1.1, hard reset and same, the issue was still in there.
A week ago, installed Lineage, and now everithing it's ok.
Have a Verizon S9 that is bootlooping then go to the screen in the picture after running the Pie update. Has anyone else had this issue? Is giving an authentication error in Odin when trying to flash.
Had an S9+ last week that did the same, flashing firmware with Odin didn't resolve that one, don't want to wipe it.
Hi,
I've just updated to Android 11, not clean install, just recieved OTA and intalled.
I have noticed no problem so far, but when I turn airplen mode on, my wifi is still on. Any clue about what is happening? may it be related to a not clean installation?
Solved: Wipe cache solved the issue.
