Solved: Wifi on while Airplen mode On - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
I've just updated to Android 11, not clean install, just recieved OTA and intalled.
I have noticed no problem so far, but when I turn airplen mode on, my wifi is still on. Any clue about what is happening? may it be related to a not clean installation?
Solved: Wipe cache solved the issue.

[Q] Reboot, no network, can't enable wifi

Hello,
i recently had the reboot issue with my xperia ZL. It just started to reboot indefinitly.
I noticed that some people fixed the problem installing a previous android version. So that's what I did. I used flashtool to install Android 4.1.2. (got the rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2350977)
The problem was solved for a few hours. But then i lost network signal and couldnt enable wifi anymore. Also it eventually reboots again (although now it takes more time, it does not reboot imediatly after booting, like the first issue).
Any tips on how to solve this problem? Could it be battery related?
My xperia currently: Android 4.1.2, build 10.1.a.1.434, bootloader unlocked.
thats a pretty old android for the zl... What were you using? Are you wiping / clearing cache before reinstalling? I would think if it was battery related you would not have any problems if it was connected to the charger... might try that..

i was using 4.4.2 when the first boot loop problem occurred.
I did wipe cache before installing the current rom.
I also tried to install later versions, but no luck with any of them. When trying to install later android versions, i would eventually get the "process system not responding" error right after start up, and then reboot again. Also no network or wifi. At 4.1.2. at least i'm not getting the processes system error message at least.

Wifi doesn't work please help

HI, a few days ago I ran into problems with wifi on my 551ML (4GB).
my phone works fine without wifi.
but, when I turn on the wifi the phone goes crazy!
when wifi is on the settings screen shows "turning on wifi" and the toggle switch is stuck.
and worst of all the phone reboots about every 30 seconds!
It is importent to note that the wifi worked fine since I got the phone and that the problems started recently.
I tried wiping cache/data, factory reset, updating to latest version, downgrading to .12 and nothing helped!
what shoulk
Although you have already tried this, recommend updating firmware to latest version then after firmware is applied, perform a hardware reset including wipe cache partition.
For hardware reset/wipe cache partition instructions please see the following: http://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1011956/
If problem continues, suspect it's a hardware issue. Please feel free to contact me direct at [email protected] and we will issue RMA if necessary.
Sincerely,
ASUS_USA
I'm having exactly the same problem. I have also tried factory reset, downgrading firmware, wiping cache partition.. but nothing helping..me..
This problem started after the latest system updates.. does anyone have a solution for this.. plzzz....

Bluetooth problem

Hi, I've an annoying problem with the Bluetooth: when it's turned on, it turns off randomly and after few seconds it turns on.
It's impossibile to keep connection with other devices.
I've the last firmware version.
Please help me!
Try a factory reset to see if it is a problem with the software or an app.
If it still keeps dropping it might be a broken Bluetooth module which has to be repaired...
I have root and recovery. Can I reflash the firmware I have with root and dualrecovery included? If yes, what I lost?
Thanks
I have a similar problem with various CM12 and CM12.1 builds ... Bluetooth just can't be turned on, after turning it on, it turns itself off after a few seconds.
Originally I thought, it maybe a hardware defect, but when going back to a previous version of CM (restoring a nandroid backup), Bluetooth worked flawlessly. As I didn't want to stay with a build from November, I kept updating the ROM, but Bluetooth stayed offline.
Until today when I made the suggested factory reset. Now Bluetooth works without problems, even after reinstalling all the apps I had installed before. So thanks for your advice, Schlengge

Sensor issues after installing and wiping "o" beta.

So I installed the beta and decided to go back to 7.1.2.
I did a normal wipe in TWRP then reinstalled SAOSP.
The first problem I noticed was that the phone was slow to turn the screen on after pressing the power button or the fingerprint scanner.
The second problem was that the proximity sensor wasn't working in phone calls. I then checked a few others sensors and noticed that the rotation also want working.
I downloaded a sensor checking app and it showed that the proximity sensor had a value of 5 but it didn't change when covering the sensor.
First thought was a bad flash, so I re-wiped and installed a Nand backup that I knew was good. Same thing happened, so I tried PN. That didn't work.
Downloaded stock zip, backed up personal data, then did a complete wipe with the zip, internal data included. The problems stayed even on stock.
I have since read through whatever threads I could. This seems to be a random issue people have had in the past. Yet is particularly prevalent after the o beta.
Most people have suggested to just re-flash stock but that hasn't worked. The only suggestion I have read otherwise is to also lock and then unlock the bootloader in the process as well.
Who else has this problem and has anyone found a fix yet?
Ok, someone posted in another thread (PN) that the locking and unlocking the bootloader worked for them.
If you have the issue try it out.
Just remember to copy all your internal data to your PC or other storage to save it.

To fix this, I flashed O DP2 factory image again and then stock 7.1.2 factory image. Now everything's working and I'm rocking Dirty Unicorns 7.1.2

I tried it this way but after flashing back to 7.1.2 stock, I now get a crash of com.android.phone immediately after booting, followed by a reboot.
Tried clearing cache but didn't help. Anyone know what to try to fix the crash?
UPDATE: Wiped data and now it's fine.

Phone not charging until reboot

I've a strange issue when I charge my MotoZPlay.
If I pluggin (with the original turbocharger), the phone simply says Charging (on the battery screen), but the battery icon on the status bar has no change.
But If I reboot the phone, it charges normally.
Stock rom, on January security patch
Any idea or suggestion?
Already did a Wipe dalvik cache, still the same issue.
I think it's due to System UI tuner.
Disable it and check.
If the problem still exists, perform hard reset.
It's a software problem and can be solved by a reset.
First, update your device to latest version(April Security Patch).
And then Hard reset it.
Cheers!

Sorry for the late response.
As you said, its a SW issue.
Tried upgrading to aprils patch, with hard reset and nothing happenend, the problem was still in there
Upgrading to 7.1.1, hard reset and same, the issue was still in there.
A week ago, installed Lineage, and now everithing it's ok.
