I'm using cm11 on my xperia m , trying to change status bar icons . I successfully changed wifi, signal, bluetooth icons by editting SystemUI.apk
. Now i want to change my battery icons, I'd found some battery icons in framework-res.apk, I recompiled & singned the framework-res.apk after replacing those battery icons.I created a flashable zip and flashed with that zip using CWM.But the changes made are not reflected . The battery icons wasn't changed .
I think the cm11 battery icons files are not kept in framework-res.apk, settings.apk & SystemUI.apk. help me to locate n change those battery icons
With a quick search i found this, give it a look, maybe you want to investigate it further.
Hi, I like to have a normal battery text near the icon (or just text without icon, I don't need it), but in the 4.4.2 stock update sony changed the classic text+icon layout to a all-in-one text in icon. I tried all the methods to change the battery from systemUI, but noone worked. Also some xposed modules that could change the icons in the status bar, like gravitybox KK, xblast tools and many others, didn't work, the battery icon didn't change.
Do you know any method to replace it? Just like CM11, where it's easier select "text" in battery indicator style. I'm using RomAur 3 rom.
Thanks in advance!

You should notice that the xml file names are different so you need to edit them accordingly.
I've tried modifying SystemUI.apk, got black wallpaper, no status & nav bar on startup
What I've tried :
compiling with apktool, signing, zipaligned
updating original apk with compiled resources at store(0%) compression level
I've tried all xposed modules relevant, nothing works the way I want
I want a simple solid colored status & nav bar
Any other thing you can suggest that I should try or any other way to accomplish this?
Edit: micromax MTK device running Kitkat
Thanks,

Mod SystemUI :
Background QS Tiles Coloured as Grey that will looks like AOSP, and
Transparent Background QS Tiles.
Credits to :
@GuestStar & Ilya020287 from 4pda.ru for the GreyColour.
Update! 20171201 :
- Now background QS Tiles has the same color as header
-Added background QS GreyColour for S030 Firmware (before it was only for S059) *need root

Issues/Glitch : Flashing SystemUIMod-GreyColour_S030.zip will give you blank wallpaper, invisible statusbar & recent apps won't appeared.
Workaround Install :
1. You have to Root your phone with SuperSU-v2.76 (Latest version seems broke the AutoRotation)
2. Intall it by using step number 2.
There's TWO DIFFERENT Steps :
• Just flash the Flashable.zip with TWRP Recovery. Reboot.
• You have to ROOT YOUR PHONE & Use any file manager that support root mode. Extract SystemUI-GreyColour_S030.zip, copy file SystemUI.apk then paste it into folder root/system/priv-app/SystemUI/here (overwrite it). Make sure the app permission inside the folder is 644 (rw-r-r). Then pull down the statusbar will reboot the SystemUI. Done! *Recommend this because the effect will showup directly.
NOTE! :
• Make sure you take a backup first as always. So, if something bad happen you can revert it back.
• I recommending to anyone who wanted to use this mod systemui to ROOT their phone first. To avoiding glitch.
