Is it just me or does the volume blow on this thing. I've got everything maxed and it's still low.

Do any of the volume hack apps work for this phone? Not for headphones but to hear it ring louder.

U really think this phone doesn't ring loud enough? Lol...for me its almost obnoxious.

It is loud ... really loud ...
I have owned 5 other Android phones over the years before this E4GT, and it is easily the loudest of them all. The phone ringer is too loud for me, can hear the thing a mile away.

Guys remember its all in what ringer you choose to use also. Some of the custom ones I use are softer than others.

I agree it is loud. But my evo might of been louder. But either way, its loud.
Wow ... for me its also got soft speakers ... can barely hear anything without headphones
If anything this phone needs reduced sound. It's so loud at maxed setting I can leave it in my basement and hear it on the 2nd floor lol.. The alarm volume is really low though and you'll sleep thru it.. Reminds me of the first epic since it had the same issue with the notification volume being lower then the others...

I use "old phone" ringtone, and it is just way too loud at max volume, ear piercing.
I keep it set to 1/3rd volume, and that is plenty loud to hear nearby.

Yeah I got that app and had the same problems, ditched it, although the features and concept were really nice.. You would think google would fix their terrible contact photo resolution and implement something like that too..
I want to change the default settings of what happeneds when you press the headphone buttons. But idk how. Any help?
Not sure what you mean by "headphone button."

Do you mean volume buttons?

You might want to try something like this headset control app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.jays.headsetcontrol&hl=en .
That worked amazingly thank you.

Is it possible to disabled the full charge notification? Notification sound and the screen open. Thats very annoying during the night.

if its like the G2, you set in on silent mode (without vibration)

Put the phone on silent and it won't make the full charge noise.

i dont have my G2 anymore but i think you hold the volume button down until vibrate mode then press again for totally silent mode. or you can use silent mode from noification list buttons. Again if its like how G2 was
Mine is no longer generating the notification sound every minute.
I believe the magic setting was General->Smart Functions->QuickCircle case->Off
I turned it back to On to try to recreate the problem but it didn't, not that I'm complaining.
Someone else will have to confirm this works for them.
Is there a way to adjust the volume louder?
I've noticed the the M9 speakers do not have anywhere near the volume that my M8 had whatsoever. I'm missing texts and emails and most importantly phone calls.
I'm S-Off, rooted and have a custom ROM already. (Thanks to dottat)

I am having a similar issue with volume. I can barely hear the person talking when im on the phone. Anyone else having these issues? Im stock.
Yeah, this is proving to be a pain. I can't hear my GPS, my phone calls, my alarms, nothing and I have the volume all the way up.

I think we should meet back up and compare phones. I don't think mine is quiet.
