New Method
Hi. Found that link:

Seems it can be done manually, i'm going to try it and hope it works.
Kingroot
In case anyone still can't find a solution. I found only Kingroot would work with my device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=12586
I previously used purpledrake fine on kitkat, but i tried that, lg oneclick, towel root and another one and couldn't find anything to give me a perm root.
The only downside is you need to use Kinguser, instead on superSU or superuser. I know there is a workaround that just didn't work for me.
Now I just have an Xposed incompatibility issue to look into...

Issue with lg g3 beat with lolip 5.0.2
Hello, i rooted with LG One Click (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3s-beat-d722-thread-t3110048). Root Checker says:
ROOT ACCESS: Device rooted
SUPER USER: SU FOUND
BUSY BOX: Busy box not installed
and path information, i guess for su
The issue is i can't do nothing else:
Installed supersu but don't update binaries.
And any app that ask for root access do not have it.
Preciate some help (newbi in rooting and so...).
Thank you
Hi all,
Is there any information on successfully rooting 6.01 on LG G3. I tried a few of the rooting apk's and they don't work.
Try flashing the stock KitKat tot file first. Then root/install TWRP.

Kingroot for desktop, still have to find a phone it cannot root. Give it a try, its chinese but pretty straight forward. Find the official Kingroot thread here at XDA.

this doesn't work with V30n
Looks like they found a method right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/v30n-eur-xxx-t3456637/page4
I haven't tried it out yet, but others say that it works fine. You would have to go back to an older firmware (like 30c) and then follow the steps they describe
Please send me method of v30e
Any update on this - anyone got a method to root V30n? LG PC Suite is offering me the upgrade, but I haven't taken it yet unless I know I can root it.
I'm trying to root my LG G3 but there are no root methods for an LG G3 running marshmallow. I have tried One-Click methods like ioroot, towelroot, and kingroot, but for some reason, my device just won't get root access. Now, im trying to downgrade the system and try out the various root methods available. Can anyone can point me to a good tutorial on how to downgrade the system? I have the T-Mobile D851 model but on At&t network.
Thanks.

Take a look at this first if there is not k in your variant then you can downgrade. https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/help/vs9854ba-root-downgrading-t3575145
If your variant does not have a K then downgrade then root and then install what you want.
