Yes, I have this case and it's wonderful..
Pros:
Adds weight to the device (can be a con)
Adds 5500mah to your device
The soft touch material adds more grip
The bulk if the case and battery is also easier to grip
Cons:
No wireless charging
No pass-through fast charging, but it will charge the device first then the battery
I haven't tested it in the water so I'm not sure about that aspect.

You can go for this cases. Its just awesome.

I bought a mophie.
PS, if 138 of these on the ebay site were sold, how come no one added a review? How do you know which one you're getting, their drop-down for the s8/s8+ only shows an ellipsis next to what I assume is the s8+ case.
I wouldn't trust the case.

I got one of those for S8+. Used it once. It did charge phone battery at least once from almost completely empty. Adds significant weight and thickness. Biggest reservation I have about using it daily is that screen looks very exposed and with added weight, if it falls face down, added wight will almost guarantee that screen will shatter. It is compatible with IQ shield screen protector, and I did not try it with any glass screen protectors.

I have not used one of these but the look interesting.

I'm not sure how this works, but I looks like you have to carry the extra "modules" separately to snap them on. Wouldn't that mean you've got the case on the device and then have to snap on the battery or whatever else they may be selling (right now, the only "module" they seem to advertise is the battery.
Also, HOW BAD is the "air quality" that this is the built-in module? Who is this marketed for that we'll be wanting to check our air quality all the time? I just find that a weird "selling point" that air quality is what they're hyping as the module that's releasing first. Just a weird thing to release.

I bought a slim portable charger type but returned it for its not working promptly

What a shame that its coming out now, about 2 weeks until the EVO is dead (to me anyways). As someone who sells cases, I have no idea what takes these companies ::cough:: otterbox ::cough:: so long to bring these products to market. Dummy phones are available months prior to release in most cases. Extended battery cases I can understand taking longer but almost a year? No. I would of bought one of these 6 months ago. If I order now it probably won't be here until I get the Evo 3D anyways.
edit: holy crap. think they are charging enough for this? considering the only part I need is the rear section (I have the front piece and silicone from my cyclops and a battery) no way would I spend that on this.

Yea +1 on the timing point. they are actually suppose to create an option to buy just the backing for those that purchased a cyclops. But question how is the silicon on the cyclops is it always coming off like some people say ?
Hello
I just get an extended battery for my iphone from the web.
http://www.papadigitals.com/dsl-series_htc-battery-charger.html
There is some case and standard battery for HTC
I agree the timing stinks but I think this one is a better option than the powerskin. You can actually see the kickstand with this one.

Amen to this comment.
As an owner of the powerskin (VERY FLAWED DESIGN, read my review on this site) and this Trident case, the Trident so far is the winner.
I received the Trident (although to the wrong address than indicated) yesterday. I was luckily home to collect it. I put the cover/battery combination on the Evo and charged it up. I'm not sure how many recharge cycles it's meant to go through before it stays charged, but so far, after one night on the wall charger, it kept a charge for one subway trip from home to work (about 35 minutes) at about 90%. So, pretty much discharged 10% in 35 minutes. I think this may be due to the newness of the battery, however, I would have expected better from the size of the battery (purported) by the company.
I'll post a more thorough review after about a week of use.

I can't comment on the seidio thing, stopped buying their defective products years ago. I'd check the dimensions of this case against the dimensions of the seidio extended battery.
the case itself is a two-part clip on:
Back part is see through (got the icy version), clips on to the front part which has a screen protector already as part of the front.
The entire thing is wrapped in a separate rubber covering that you put on after snapping the case together. The thing itself feels very nice. I don't know about the battery life, will figure it out after a few days or week's use.
The bottom part has a flip-open cover for the battery cable and other inputs.
all the buttons are accessible because adding the plastic snap on makes everything a bit recessed, these guys thought of that as well. It is a nice touch.
All-in-all, the case is very strong. I'm not at all worried about the device dinging up.
If possible could anybody that gets one of these let us know if it will fit in any of the hip holsters? I have a holster that got with my innocase extended combo and I have another holster that came with one of the ebay cheapo specials.

okay that does sound goood i shall check it up against the specs. one more question i keep hearing ppl with the cyclops saying the the rubber ring that protects the sides of the cases comes off and on when pulling out of your pocket true or false ? and how much bulk does this case actually add from the pictures it looks kind of sliming. But, i personally cant trust pictures after the deception of the powerskin.
Once again, I think this case is a thinker version of the Cyclops which I have. Great case and VERY secure but not too pocket friendly. The stickiness of the silicone bumper makes it annoying to slide in and out of tight places. But in all honestly, this case is pretty freaking sweet. The upgraded screen protector is much nicer and I believe all the cases come with an extended audio jack since it is now recessed because of the case. If I were in the market I would definitely buy the Electra!
I have this one and the original. The rubber thing has never came off, in fact it is hard to take it off. The case is wonderful and only a tad bigger than its original. The battery is good as its been up over 60 hours and awake for 12 hours with no mods.

GN Extended Battery & Otterbox

IT FITS.
For all of us who tried to do the right thing... get the Galaxy Nexus and protect such a beast with the Otterbox case that Verizon is selling:
I was worried after I saw how bad the standard battery performs and went through all the steps; customizing the menu, getting apps that control cpu and functions, and calibrating the battery...etc.
At the same time, I ordered the extended battery, assuming the Otterbox would be substituted by some gel case and that I would just need to deal with a bulkier phone (not that the GN is bad at all).
Battery came with extended battery case and it totally fits in the Otterbox, without removing the back Otterbox plastic cover or doing any odd alterations. It just fits so the size is the same, a little more weight but it's nothing.
Gonna calibrate the battery now...
I read somewhere that this was the "right" feeling phone and that Google designed this! And that Verizon in the slim-battery, slim-phone wars set this in motion. Why the negative press about Google flagship is "worth it" to a VZ exec I dont know... but all these phones should have come with the "extended" battery as standard. And extended should realy do that... extend the battery life and not make us feel that the phone is underperforming with the "standard" (included) battery it ships with.
Booya!
Hope I'm happier with this once I finish charging the new battery.
I have the extended battery and just got my Otterbox Commuter case and it fits perfectly. Very very happy with both !!!!

Yes. Defender! It is defending well.
I can confirm the otterbox commuter fits with the extended battery. 2 of the corners have a slight gap, the other 2 corners fit just fine. Case still works perfectly though.

I got the kickstand case at verizon (it was free, long story) and it fits fine with the extended battery as long as you dont put the battery cover on... the rear is completely protected so you're not leaving anything exposed (though i guess it could be more vulnerable to light water damage where it would not if you had the back on) but overall i'm pretty happy with the kickstand case... wish it had corner protection though.

How do you like your Commuter? I have mine, but I have no GNex yet!
How much thinner is the Commuter versus the Defender? I have the defender but the included screen protector is garbage. I might pick up the commuter if it's thinner than the defender.
i have used goobegone to remove the defender screen protector from the top bezel of my nexus one. and then installed an aftermarket protector directly to the screen. It was a perfect combo too. Is this how the defender screen protector is too? Removable by peeling off and removing the adhesive?

Anyone order from Ultra Case? Considering a few of their products.

There are two products that I'm interested in and hopefully can get some feedback. First one is a "metallic bumper case."
http://www.ultra-case.com/detail/GalaxyS2-Case-Metallic+Bumper-Black
For $47 before shipping, this had better be one hell of a case. It looks, from photos, as though it would have zero problems with the official 2000mAh battery and cover, which would make it a great combo. Also would look pretty good. Concerns are - quality? Also, anyone ever used a Tetrax product on the stock/extended battery covers? The textured material makes me wonder if it would stick. If this would be an issue, I know there are aluminum battery covers for the S2, perhaps a black extended one to go with it? That would be pretty slick. So again, any feedback is appreciated.
The next item I'm interested in is the charging dock.
http://www.ultra-case.com/detail/GalaxyS2-Accessories-Charing+Dock-Black
Seems pretty nice for $19, but their typo has be questioning the quality of any product on this website. Claims to be compatible with their case on the SGS2, which is a huge plus (most cradles/docks require the case removed). However, I wonder if that would still be the case with the extended battery case (most likely, given the bottom bump is there regardless). Lastly, I wonder if the microUSB port would be a direct pass-through and thus allow for MHL. Would be an awesome desktop stand if that is the case. Anyone ever try this thing?

Don't get the aluminium bumper from this site. They are simply reselling chinese made bumpers with a 400% markup. I paid $12 for mine on ebay. Given that, stay away from any of their products.

I don't know if there is a replacement back you can get for it, but there are a few lightweight cases Ive seen that have that kind of texture. You might have some luck with that... and you won't lose NFC antenna (which is attached to the back plate.)
You also have to think the Qi wireless receiver is on the battery cover, maybe nfc as well.
Sent from my LG-E980 using xda app-developers app
I would love to have this too - soft touch cover that includes Qi and NFC! As others have said, a lightweight thin case might help. I just ordered an Incipio feather case that should be here in a couple of days so I can report back. It looks similar to what I had for my Galaxy S3 and I liked that a lot.
i searched for something similar but didn't find any :crying:
i don't like to put a case on but a soft touch back cover only for extra grip
Given the nature of LG phones, I doubt it's going to be popular enough to receive the kind of aftermarket battery cover that some of the other popular phones out there get. The closest thing you can probably find to get a grippier back would be this:
http://www.buychina.com/items/lg-f2...ticker-diy-color-film-color-paste-ruprqqrojil
Basically a 3M film, like what dbrand makes. Alternatively you could try Armorsuit/Skinomi's carbon fiber skins, but I think they're rather overpriced.
I did see on a different forum that if you get the Xtremeguard full body protection kit, then the section that covers the battery door can make it a lot grippier, even if you don't use the screen protector portion. I saw it for like $4 or $5 on ebay. One concern I had though was that the back portion looked bigger than the battery door, which means it will extend past the door and cover the sides of the phone - this would make it messy to remove the battery cover, if you do that regularly.
Yeah, came across the same problem, couldn't find good replacement back so I wrapped mine in black suede. Looks and feels awesome.

How did you do that? i.e., where did you get the material and how did you install?
I just got my Incipio Feather case yesterday. Kinda disappointed. Fit and finish and quality of materials is superb. But to me, the basic reason to get this case was to increase grip. And even though it's soft touch, it is almost as slippery as the phone itself! Might have to get a traditional TPU case and just live with the dust accumulation, or try something like you did.

I bought the suede from a JoAnn and craft store and used the 3M super77 multi purpose spray adhesive. To me it works out perfectly as the suede is very grippy. I can however understand if some people don't like it.
I'm using incipio case and I can confirm that the the wireless charging and NFC function working fine with the case.

ZeroLemon 8500mah extended battery review

Great case, I always tend to purchase a battery case when me and my family go on vacation. This case is a good solid case that adds a bit grip making the phone not slippery when holding it in your hand. As for features the case is some sort of plastic, your phone drops in charging side first and then the you just press in the rest snapping the phone into the case. To remove I find the easiest to push towards me where the fingerprint reader is. Now while the phone is in the case I have noticed the phone will not "fast charge" with a OEM Samsung charger. Also odviously no nfc or wireless charging while using the case. It is a bulky heavy case but with the quality ZeroLemon puts out and all the extra juice I think it is worth it. Now if ZeroLemon would just make a belt clip I would be able use this daily.
Just a small review I'll try to get some pictures up.
