Hello guys not sure if this will get answered here. But I am trying to help a friend who works at AT&T fix his Galaxy Note 5. My brother and this guy work together and I just switched from Windows Phone to S8+. And he mentioned that he had an Not 5 that had an issue during an update or something and got stuck on the Factory reset protection. I said that I could try to help him out as I use to be heavy on XDA and pretty sure I can find a fix here. I have searched this thread and root but can't seem to find the fix for the AT%T variant. I even had him purchase the OTG 32GB usb from the AT&T store. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. If I need to create a vm for Linux or what just getting things in order to help a friend.

Hey guys
I live in New Zealand and recently found a Note II N7105 off Trademe (NZ's equivalent to ebay) and received it earlier today only to find it doe s not power on or charge at all. the photos and description show that it was working before it was sent but it is essentially dead. now i know that i should do my research before posting this question and i have to no avail and have realised it is one of two problems:
1. either the phone is totally dead or,
2. it does not charge properly
there is no sign of life and i have tried multiple chargers in multiple power sockets and have left it to charge for a while and still nothing
if anyone can give me some help as to whether i should get a refund or whether its a cheap fix, please please please let me know ASAP as i have been REALLY excited for this phone and would like to solve the problem as soon as possible

is there anyway it can be fixed? if they dont give me a refund will it be impossible to fix? or just expensive.. as i really like this phone and want to use it

If ur phone does not start, nothing can be done. Also I guess it is essentially a hardware problem.
Anyways, (unless u have screwed up the phone by urself)why do u want to fix it urself? Just get the refund or replacement.

So I had a cord working for some time with a different Moto 360 I moved things around and could not connect for the life of me. So I swapped watches at Best Buy thinking I messed it up some how. Now I have a New one and I want to Unlock the bootloader to force the update via shell and I cont get this thing to mount for the life of me it acts like it mounting every time and error unknown USB device and I know my drivers are installed right because I already went though this. I would love some pic of different Modded USB cables and or what you guys have used to mount via usb and I would love some advice. I was going to sen one to someone else because I had them working and now I don't know what it up. Thanks any help or advise is welcomed .
I have tested every cord I have tried to use with a Multimeter.

Nice thanks . I actually got it figured out today but I searched High and low and didn't see that thread but I guess since I had watched the video a few times like 25x lol and read all kinds if comments on it but even though o got it today I still would love to get a more stable dock going

Well I spent hours of messing with it but try using like a tooth pick to help make sure the pins are in the hole also double lapping the wires in the Cat 5 helped. I will have it working fine and then it will go on the fritz I recently dissed Windows in a whole and went to Linux mint witch I have had way less problems until today with a unrelated problem.

My mother got a Note 7, and gave me her Note Edge to replace the Note 4 I left on the bus. The first thing I did was a factory reset, and I regret it. Reactivation Lock = On.
I can't find a single YouTube video for bypassing this, and this isn't a common subject in specific phone threads on XDA because it's always in instructions to make sure this lock is off in advance.
I'm just hoping that members of this community might have some insight into recent developments to help me here. I still haven't ordered another phone but if it's looking bleak today, then I might have to let this brick sit around a while.
It's on BPC1, I believe? Can't access Accessibility Settings from the getgo, the OTG USB doesn't get a response from it, doesn't show up on ODIN. Some of ya'll r wizards tho so eh, I wont get my hopes up.

PS: This is for the SM-n915v, but that phone gets no love and is pretty similar to the Note 4 I left on the bus, so I am posting this here. I hope that is not an incorrect assumption.

I have a problem with my LG Nexus 5X, it has stopped working, and it want light up. I tried to reformat it manually but nothing works, I can no longer turn it on, and he even stopped to give me hand to reformat it manually. apparently I need boarddiag for nexus 5x to be able to repair it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Lol i own 4 cell phone stores. We buy the demos, then when we're done with them we ship the demos back then get reimbursed. However if we don't or they are damaged we cant send them back. This one has a hairline crack but functional. Instead of eating the 400 id rather make it usable.
