I'm wondering why I can't change the grid size when I set a bigger DP like 400 or 420. This on others phones make the grid size change.
Anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks!

I know Nova Launcher allows you to set a 5x5 grid. I don't think you can do it on stock

So I am using the "App Settings" Xposed mod to change the DPI of my Nova Launcher to be denser (yes, I know I can change the grid size and stuff, but I want EVERYTHING to be denser). Unfortunately, that seems create an offset of my Zooper "Hotspots" . I have my Nova DPI at default now, but is there anyway I modify the DPI while still having Zooper hotspots work?
Thanks.

Changing the DPI will undoubtedly mess with Zooper widgets. It might help if the icons and hotspot areas are attached the same anchor but, apart from that, there isn't all that much you can do to stop it playing about.
Besides, you only change the DPI once, so you only have to adjust your widgets once and that'll be sorted for good.
I have Zooper Pro installed on my LG G3 and when I try to install a new widget the largest Zooper grid size available to me is 5x2. I am wanting to install a widget that requires a 7x2 grid size. How do I do that?
Thanks
Change the grid of the launcher desktop, the widget should be available then...

The grid set by Nova Launcher Pro is 10 x 6, no width or height padding, but the largest Zooper grid size available is still 5 x 2. I am on Lollypop 5.0.1, did a factory reset after upgrading and then reinstalled Nova Launcher Pro.

Isn't that what you wanted?
Does anyone know if it's possible to fit more icons on the Pixel XL home screen or on the dock. Changing dpi doesn't do it for me, nor does changing the font size
Thanks

Use a different launcher like nova. There you can change the grid and the dock.

How many do you want? Any more than 4 + the app drawer is too many for me anyway.

At least 5 on the home screen, and 6 on the dock. I want to avoid using another launcher, I quite like the flow of the Pixel launcher

Fair enough, but I think you're out of options. Nothing's as intuitive as Nova for me anyway and the ton of custom options are always nice.

That's weeks. Changing the dpi allows me to have more icons on my home screen with pixel launcher. I'm on stock system with some of my own mods. See picture below. I didn't change anything with the launcher. Only the dpi.

I tried changing it 700 and still couldn't get it done. Even if it worked it'll come at an expense of smaller fonts and requires a magnifying glass.

Thanks! I gave nova a go, [emoji106] it's very simmialr to pixel launcher and gave me exactly what I need and with more options. Not sure why I was against the idea in the first place. Change is good [emoji1]

Wrong direction with the numbers lol. That's why it won't work for you. You need to change you're dpi to something like 493 or 500. That will get you the desired effect. You can also go into display setting and pick the smallest screen size option and that will lower the dpi to roughly 500.
Wallpaper
Where did you find a that wallpaper? It's so good.
This is a message to ih8un... I need your help please contact me via your whirpool account. I have sent you some messages and need information regarding you NCAT against Samsung, I am in the same boat.
Would it be possible to do something like that? The 4x4 grid is what I hate the most about Sense Home, and one of the only things that I dislike about it. Apparently, you can now get something like 6x5 if you change the display size to small.. but that's way too small for me to use.
Would changing the DPI work? I mean, I just can't understand. Many other launchers work with larger grids from default. And the U11 does have a larger grid by default. It's rather frustrating.

wherever you got that from i recommend you go ask them. otherwise the only way I am away is either a 3rd party launcher like nova, which i use all the time! or using a custom ROM that has a modded sense home
Hi there,
I'm using a clock widget made with Zooper on my home, with some particular fonts. Today I changed my phone's font, and every font of the clock just "disappeared", I don't know how to explain this: no one of my custom fonts in Zooper works, right now. I tried to reboot the phone and also to make again the widget from zero, but nothing changes. The only font Zooper displays is the font I've chose as system font, no matter which other font I try to use for the widget.
It's a shame because when I revert to stock font everything is ok, but this means that I'm forced to use stock EMUI font, if I want to use my widget clock too.
Why does this happen? Have I to re-install every font?
I have the same problem (Huawei Mate 10)... Pity

Also same problem with different apps too.
