I flashed my Redmi 3S Prime with CyanogenMod 13. After using it for some days I reflashed MIUI 8.2.5. But I'm missing CyanogenMod's AudioFX very badly. Music seems a bit enjoyable with AudioFX. Please help me find a flashable zip of AudioFX for MIUI. Please help me..!!
I think audio fx of cm cant work in miui, even maybe no one tried to port it, but there are so many awesome sound mods available which are so far better than audiofx, I prefer dolby atmos you can check it from here:-

Roms based on Android 6.0, Viper4Android does not work at all. Android 5 works perfectly. I tried all roms Android 6 and I want to install cm13 permanently and Viper4Android.
It's working fine for me. Try the viperatmos 5.5 from this thread. And if you're on cm13 I'd flash the music fx installer and audio fx remover after.
Can you be more specific , please. I installed another version Atmos 6.5 and we found it did not work . Thank you!

I've checked out a few threads but can't find any pertaining to my exact situation.
So I'm on OB28, so Oreo OOS, tried a few proposed sound mods but none of them seem to work or else I'm doing something wrong.
Flashed a few compatible TWRP recoveries and rooted. Tried that ARISE mod but either the mods I'm interested in don't work or seem to give me FCs on reboot. Tried random dolby zips which don't do anything. I've even had a "factory data reset" message on startup with an automatic reboot to recovery.
Is there any decent audio mod that works on Oreo OOS (preferably Dolby)? If so, please show me how to get this done.

There is no practical way to get Dolby Atmos working on Oreo as of now. Dolby Digital, however, can work. You can flash this mod by guitardedhero:

Note that every other audio mod needs to be removed including any in Magisk for this to work. Viper can be flashed after this works but not a priori. SELinux permissive is necessary.

get the addon zip from experience os it has viper dolby atmos and they both work

Thanks, nice to see one that works! the add-ons are a nice touch too. I think my arise config file must have been wrong.
does it work in enforcing or permissive..i mean with the addon @v.konvict @therightperson_630
Audio FX and other similar equaliser apps are not working in LOS14.1. This is not any device specific , I tested on other devices too. Moreover other equaliser apps such as Music FX.apk are also not showing up.
I CANT EVEN DISBALE Audio FX so that they could work.
I also tried Viper4Android, But there also no luck :crying:
I used to get some effects on stock rom too:crying:
I am not rooted , custom kernels , other sound mods just have clean LOS14.1.

There have been updates some weeks ago. What device/version/audio source did you test?
Merlin ( Moto G Turbo ) latest 15Feb build and other devices such as Osprey (Moto G3) , condor (Moto E) and D802 ( LG G2) , currently using Merlin but all of them are having same issue
Tested with Headphones and same with speaker also
Also mentioned on respective forums but i think people are least intrested in Audio
My moto e works with Dolby Atmos 6.5.1-for-Nougat-20170407-Condor.zip from afh. Installed when audioFX didn't work.
i am on latest a11 crdroid 7.18 but i tested this module https://github.com/reiryuki/Mi-Sound-Redmi-M2012K11AC-Magisk-Module
of course i also installed miui core module.
flashing goes well but when i reboot i find the new "sound effect" menu into sound settings BUT if i touch it does not enter. forces me back into general phone settings.
audio seems a little different but imho like stock rom, no near effect like miui atmos that was wonderful.
i really need a magisk module to flash... i wanna stick to a11 rom and not a12, i hope there is a way to flash atmos on this rom

question currently running PixelOS rom and i'm rooted would like to instal a sound enhancer was going to do vipper but after watching Munchy 2021 video it looks like a pain in the azz ,and not sure if that method will work on android 13 unless changed since then what are my options ? Im rooted is their a simple instal module or something I can install ? just want to enhance the sound of a bluetooth speaker , I know this rom comes with miui headphone enhancer but it only works if you plug in head phones kind of a waste , any suggestions or help would be great!

Viper almost never worked good for me. Since A10 lol better to go for Dolby. I'm using the ZTE one too
