Hello, I have the Sprint Ls990 model, I was on a nougat custom rom, I lost root somehow so I decided to flash stock zv4 firmware so I could root. After booting up, I am stuck on hands free activation screen. Only other option I have is emergency call. I don't have sprint sim so maybe thats why. IS there any work around for this?

i just buy a lg g2 sprint and the guy who sell me the cell told me that it was unlocked and it was cause im using it with my telcel sim card in mexico but i just find out that it has a custom rom call rayglobe flex 3.5 android 4.2.2 , and i just found out that sprint cannot be unlocked by code and i found a way to get it simunlock , i want to update to 4.4.2 for that i need to return to stock
i follow instructions exactly i download tot and dll for ls980 but my phone says that is a d802 but the back of my phone says ls980 and is a sprint version but my phone says d802 so when i try to use lgflashtool everything go ok but after waiting for conection says wrong model number or check dll
and i cant return it to stock is there a way to change model number so lgflashtool can be use ?
and kind of new to custom roms and root and stuff
i have twrp recovery
or is there like a custom rom that i could flash without loosing my simunlock?

I flashed a stock 4.4.2 t-mobile firmware to my sprint ls980.. is there anyway to get any ls980 firmware back on it? i use it for tmobile which is why i flashed it but seen a few threads on how to unlock the sim and now im stuck. did i ruin the phone? or could i at least get it to work through tmobile with the firmware i flashed? i cant even get it to connect to google play. wifi works tho
Using sprint tot with the generic DLL file should get you there.
What I've got
A rooted LS990 on ZV4 (done on Octopus box from a repair shop) stock, official sprint rom. I get 'restricted access changed' notification, sometimes 'hands free activation message' and on mobile data I see 'GSM' icon circling even though I have a 3G SIM in it. The phone doesn't have TWRP but I see SuperSU installed. I don't know if the bootloader is locked or unlocked.
What I'd like to have
bone-stock 5.0.1 official sprint rom on ZV8. and the ability to use this SIM I'm currently using.
Suggestions/recommendation needed on how to go about it. I don't see any OTA on the phone. I just need confirmation from you guys. If possible, please point me to the exact posts.

Last two weeks has been really hard for me.
I tried updating my AT&T LG E980 to lollipop with the firmware F240L30c_00.kdz. That was really stupid.
I thought i could return by flashing again if something goes wrong but i am stuck in. and i need your help.
I tried flashing the Telcel E980H firmware and then the original att tot file. did not work.
The phone keeps looking for network and when i see the signals bars,i try calling but it says Emergency Calls Only.
My imei still present, wifi and everything works just cannot make calls.
Please help!

i don't know about android that much
when i first bought my lg g3 LS990 "sprint device" i had some issues with the 3G/LTE since i live in middle east and the only way to access 3g signals is through CDMA??!
anyway... i went to a repair man and told him about my problem he rooted my phone, flashed a custom recovery "TWRP", then flashed a custom rom
when everything was done he managed to fix the 3g signals some how but the phone still wasn't able to get 4g signals
the weird thing is that when i checked the system info the mobile's model was changed from LS990 to D855
i didn't pay much attention to that back then but in the meanwhile i did some stuff and i had to flash a custom rom so while doing that my phone soft bricked
now i'm trying to flash stock rom again the problem is when i tried to flash LS990 stock rom i had an error message that says "device model is different"
and when i try to flash D855 rom it proceeds to 6% then an error message occurs says "partition change fac... 00000064" can't see the whole error message cause flash tool is not re-sizable
so now im not able to flash D855 model's rom or ls990 one
what should i do please i need help if anybody knows
