Hey,
I just got a LGOG and i'm thinking of installing CM
Anyone on the official CM10.1 RC1 or RC2 ?
Any important bugs or features that don't work?
What about battery life?

I don't have the time to play around with my phone all day, so i'd prefer to know beforehand whether or not I should go to CM or stay on stock

Official CM is at nightly stage.Flash the latest one and that's it.Even if you flash future builds it won't affect your apps.

which of 4.4 roms is best for battery life?

NONE of this roms will give you more juice, but the kernel and its settings will! So learn how to use your kernel and all its options and then you'll get best battery life.

I have seen you helping a lot of people here so I will go ahead and ask it. there's lots of info spread around about cpu governors and apps like tricksters and faux something. is there a place where I could find all this info together?

Beta 5 is in paranoid android on android developement forunm for e975. You will see that you download beta 4 and beta 5 is a OTA.

Sorry my mistake.

using the mokee rom, 2/14 release, battery life is ok , averaging out at about 13 percent usage per hour, 22 hour max, after a whole day of heavy usage, which is a whole lot better than stock.
i am sticking with this mokee for everyday use as the camera and autofocus is working. was having camera trouble with a bunch of other roms, and it's really sad because e975's camera wasn't that great to begin with.
observation, i don't know if its better coding by the rom makers but 3g connection speed, in particular youtube and radio streaming apps' buffering seems super fast now, with mokee and other roms i've tried.

At Mokee ROMs you've make an error: thewisenerd version is based on CM11 repository and Mokee open sources (from Mokee team -> is not made by azimdotnet) is based on mokee sources. Please correct.

Thnx for the info. I only added it because he added some pre-installation apps. though its nothing but still. But yes, 2 roms made from same source is unnecessary to mention.

U should remove the link to Mahdi ROM reason.
1. Its not allowed to post the link to other site on XDA.
2. The Dev who ported it even did not checked whether its working on this phone or not.

thx for pointing that, I will remove any rule violated content as soon as any moderator flag this.
Also I posted the link here because I know that dev for a long time and I know that the rom is working, it had just 1 bug with 3g connection but he solved it that day only, currently the rom is tested by some users there and I have pm ed them and they said its working with out any major issue. he is that good of a developer and this is not the 1st time he developed rom with out device, kra1o5 also knows him and his work personally.

Why would you want to use a cm11 nightly? use the latest cm11 snapshot build if you want to stay with cm11. or if you want you can use the nightly from 1-6-15 which is the last cm11 nightly

Nightly link doesn't work, none of them do. Only the Snapshot CM11 files are still live

recommended rom/cusrom for daily use ??

I would recommend using @karthick mostwanted's latest available UNOFFICIAL Cyanogenmod 11 (KitKat 4.4.4) build.
This is because it is the most stable custom ROM build I have used for this device; this is mostly due to the CM12 and CM13 ROMs currently not being suitable for lower-end devices (not enough RAM and slower processors), as well as them being in alpha and beta stages of development. Please do keep in mind that the latest build (cm-11-20161130-UNOFFICIAL-nevisp.zip) from karthick111 comes with a few main issues/bugs (brightness slider, Bluetooth and video recording not working, and missing flashlight toggle) which should be fixed when Karthick is able to get the 5 December 2016 security patch working, so keep an eye out on the UNOFFICIAL Cyanogenmod 11 thread, or karthick111's Android File Host downloads folder for the next build.
