Boost volume on stock rom - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

What's the best way to boost the max. volume on stock Nougat? Flash Viper or Dolby?

If there's a way without flashing, even better. There's an app called Speaker Boost that seems to work with Bluetooth devices and no root, no luck with wired headphones though.

If you've rooted your device you can follow my guide I've written about increasing volume

Using AIMP now as audio-player, there is a gain-function in it and clean player.
Peace..

Thanks

The Power amp app paid version has a setting to increase headphone volume and it works trust me , I like my music loud and full of bass and this is good for me without rooting for the excellent viper , it's the volume settings which is experimental but it works ' I have it set to value 76 and that is loud enough for me ' it goes up to 100 ' plus turn the amp up in the equaliser settings ' you get a good volume boost ?

Search xda for "DSP Manager" for android, many cooks use it in custom roms.
Its a little app with eq, and special setting for speaker, headset and Bluetooth. Very usable.

 thanks, this is what I was asking for!!
Well I tried this earlier and yes DSP is there after flash, but I couldn't hear any difference at all. Tried both headphones and speaker.
It all sounds the same. Is it really working for you?

Speaker & Sound Mod Problem

Recently I bought a Xperia S and installed the latest EOS ROM. When I was using the stock JB .211 ROM, the speaker worked fine, both channels worked without problems. However, I installed ACID Sound Mod v8 and one of the channels stop working (I lost the left channel). If I use headphones everything works fine, but only right channel works in the speaker. When I installed EOS the problem was the same: without using soundmod everything works fine, but installing a soundmod (I tried ACID, AwesomeBeats, etc) this problem appears again.
Any idea of what is going on with it? Is it a soundmod bug or it depends on the ROM?

The external speaker (not the call speaker).

GA2114 Subwoofer control problem

Thanks Malaysk for your hard work. I have the stock eq tuned and the ViPER4Android app. I am still not able to get the subwoofer levels that I had from my Ouku unit. Is there any work around so I can boost the subwoofer level loudness?? I was wondering if this was a hardware issue because installing the rom didnt make much of a difference. Thanks for any help
Anyone experiencing this issue???? Looking for a little help.
Thanks
Ever get this figured out ?
Ok so I also was looking for a way to control the sub power. I found this little guy and ordered it. This should do the trick controlling the subwoofer level. Set the gain in the amp at high, then use the knob up front somewhere to control it. I'll probably mount it under the seat or under the dash somewhere.

This looks to be the easiest, cheapest, fastest solution. I think the Ga2114 is missing some audio hardware from what I've read. It might not be simple to add it internally. This is plug and play.

If you grab something to bring up the voltage, you should grab a crossover. It's like a preamp and EQ built in.
Hi!Did you just put a subwoofer on the RCA line?No amplifier? No nothing? What power is it has?

Dolby Atmos - It Works!

Hi Group
Here is my little contribute to this phone: Install and enjoy Dolby Atmos.:fingers-crossed:
I did try today, and my phone has the last Stable version rom Xiaomi.eu, unlocked + root by Supersu.
I did follow this link:
http://c.mi.com/thread-588176-1-0.html
I jump to the part here i install the zip file with TWRP, clean Dalvick and cache, and reboot system.
Don`t worry if boot takes long time.
Result:

Now the sound is much more equilibrated, and less loudness effect.
Hope you guys enjoy!
what this dolby atmos really does? i think can software make speaker much better? how it could be possible?
For me it improves the sound every time i connect a earphones.
I wish i could install ARISE, with better packs of sound, but due problems on Nougat, is a little more tricky...
Mi Note 3 sound is very....dry, too much loudness and lack naturality on it...even my old Oppo Find 7 sounds much better!
I activate Rich profile for music, now it sounds richer than ever
EDIT: Open covers more frequencies, so it's more pleasing for my ears.
How to do it?
Thanks for sharing
