Note 2 help need

Need help i am using note 2 n7100
is there any user here who uses naugat 7.1.2 based custom rom. in which magisk safetynet bypass works fine ? please give me link to that rom tried viperos and xenonhd even Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 but no safetynet bypass worked
SafetyNet cannot pass using Magisk on any Nougat Rom for our device. In my testing, I've found that the problem is the kernels used do not have the necessary functionality for MagiskHide to start properly which means that the Su binary cannot be hidden. If you install Magisk and then check the Magisk log, you will find the following line: "proc_monitor: Your kernel doesn't support mount namespace". The only solution is for rom devs to backport mount namespace functionality.
If you need to pass SafetyNet, your only option at this stage is to use LineageSu + iSu.

Custom Roms don't work after updating to Oreo

Ive updated my phone to Oreo after previous issues . and now the only roms that work are ones that are like the stock rom (Maximus HD) and when I try and install a Oreo custom rom (Pure Fusion , AOSIP) It doesn't read my SIM card and saying that its not in the phone when it is and my home button does not work when I'm on a rom thats not Sense
Anybody else having this issue or have a solution
This has been discussed endlessly, you need Oreo firmware for Oreo roms. You need nougat firmware for nougat roms. So you flash a nougat based custom rom on a Oreo firmware.......no go

Oreo bootloader question regarding LineageOS

Hi,
I am currently still using Android 7.1.1 and wanted to try LineageOS or any custom ROM but as they all start with Android 8.0 my question is if it is absolutely unavoideably necessary to have an Oreo bootloader in both slots to use LOS or could I use the Nougat one when everything else is from an Oreo firmware?
There are several design and general changes that I absolutely not like about Oreo so I wasn't able to stick with it.
Can the bootloader be downgraded to Nougat or can Nougat be flashed with an Oreo bootloader in case I don't like LineageOS?
Kind regards

Questions regarding Treble

Hi, I'm slightly confused about the recent OxygenOS update (5.1.6) that includes Treble support.
If I flash the new update, does my device become "Treble ready" so that I'll be able to flash Treble-supported ROMs, kernels and such?
If I am currently on a non-Treble custom ROM, should I even bother flashing the new OOS update for Treble? How would that affect flashing non-Treble custom ROMs?
Thanks

I have some questions as well. I thought after I flashed a treble recovery+ 5.1.5 my phone would have treble enabled but it doesn't.
Can anyone add more clarity?
***As for one of your your questions, having treble enabled won't effect flashing non-treble roms. But you will need a treble recovery to flash treble roms.
Ive had 5.1.5 with treble recovery for 2 months on a non-treble rom.
