Hi all,
just upgraded my Treo750V to the official Windows Mobile 6 version.
Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT for the fact that I cannot receive text messages.
I can make / receive calls.
I can write / send text messages.
But I cannot receive any.
If I change my sim card to another phone it is absolutely fine....
Anyone any ideas on that? It seems strange that receiving texts would fail.....
Best Regards
Martin
Hi everyone, I am having an issue with the ability to send MMS messages on a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 flashed with Hyperdrive RLS 15 (Sprint) and programmed for MetroPCS. I have tried a few things none of which seem to be working for me.
Attempt #1:
I have programmed the phone to work with MetroPCS using DFS and followed every step located on this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225443
I noticed afterwards, I not able to view contact names in the "new" Messaging app nor am I able to send any MMS messages. I can receive MMS fine.
Attempt #2:
I reinstalled Hyperdrive RLS 15 (Sprint) and I applied the following fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2274878
Afterwards, I am able to receive MMS but unable to send MMS (same as above) with the stock messaging app. I receive the status: "service not activated on network".
Attempt #3:
I reinstalled Hyperdrive RLS 15 (MetroPCS) and I flashed this Sprint kernel afterwards: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800576 . I noticed that MMS was working fine for a while but afterwards even SMS was having issues ever "sending". I would receive the SMS sent from the S3, however the S3 itself would just constantly show a blue circle spinning next to the SMS with the status remaining "pending".
I have checked the programming several times and I am unable to identify what I am doing wrong. I have followed all of the guides in their entirety and none of the solutions work. I can browse the web, make/receive phone calls, send/receive SMS, receive MMS, but I cannot send MMS.
If there is any more information you would like me to provide I will gladly do so, but please any advice would be appreciated.

I rooted my m8 for t-mobile and am running resurrection remix Lollipop 5.1, I don't think the Rom has anything to do with it because I have used other rooms before and still had the same issue. Does not have to deal with my sms app either as I have tried multiple apps including my stock one and hangouts and the issue still occurs. My texts will not send correctly. I will text someone, and everything will seem fine, my phone says that the text has been sent, however the person never received the text. This happens with multiple people. Can anyone help?
xmas night my 5x stopped working (sim card issue).
replacement 5x arrived today.
text messages received between xmas and today won't download to the phone. new messages are being received.
phone and apps are fully updated
tried hangouts
tried messenger
oddly enough, voicemails were available.
cell provider: Project Fi
What are you using for sms? Check permissions for that app
no sms or mms
I am having same issue, I have tried formating phone , different rom, different txt apps. Still cant send receive pictures.
I can send and receive messages.
For the few days that my phone was offline... those messages have not downloaded.
I have a Huawei Mate 20 X EVR-AL00 on buildnumber 10.1.0.165 (latest update).
Lately, I noticed my phone does not receive sms text messages. The strange thing is, I have no problem sending text messages at all! With this, I started my investigation:
* Deleted all cache and data from my default sms app.
* Installed a third party app (Google Messenger)
* Restarted my phone
* Turned off my phone for a couple of minutes
* Put my simcard into another phone. (Which immediately received all the sms text messages).
With this last test, I can almost be sure that the problem is caused by my phone. The only thing is, what causes this problem? Looking online, people only talk about not being able to send and receive sms text messages. My problem is different, because I have no problem sending sms text messages.
Another strange thing is, that after the simcard swap and back to my Mate 20 X again, I did receive one or 2 newly send sms text messages on my Mate 20 X. After a couple of minutes, the problem reoccurred and I couldn't receive sms text messages anymore.
Is any of you familiar with this problem? Could hardware even be the problem, because of me still being able to send sms text messages?
Thanks in advance!
