Has anyone encountered any problems when attaching an external mic and record a video it would produce cracking/tumping sounds?
I have a RODE MicMe shotgun mic and sometimes whenever I record a video, cracking like static sounds occur.
Whenever I turn off all apps and the WiFi/Mobile-Data it would then record normally.
Samsung A7 (2017)
Note that if I dont use any external mic everythings fine.
Ok after trying with apps after the phone's batt is below 15%, it's now operating normally even with wifi/data and the same apps are on

Well I've got the Omnia 7 and love it, although I do have an issue with it regarding the use of bluetooth headphones.
Anybody else experienced issues with the handset not sending the sound to the headset when switching from movies to music and back again.
I can get the phone to pair with my headphones almost instantly (A big improvement from my blackstone) and if I listen to music straight away the music streams perfectly. If I then goto watch a movie, I get zero sound. I go back to the music and press play ... nothing again. Even with bluetooth off.
I have to restart the phone in order to properly re-establish the connection to hear sounds over the headset.
It appears to me that due to the fact that you can't properly exit out of zune, whatever your doing gets paused and "keeps" the link for itself.
SO my question is - Has anyone else come across this and how do you properly exit from zune?
I have the same thing on my HTC 7 Trophy. Music plays just fine on the headset, but video is always played over the handsets speaker. Switching back to music seems to work fine for me though.
Anyone know why this is? Is this a shortcoming of the first release of these phones or is there a setting we forgot to tweak?
also, if you headset/headphones have a play/pause button, the music can play at the same time as the video, kinda weird sometimes

Thats a little different from what is happening to me. As I stated in my thread I have no sound through bluetooth for video files at all. After trying to watch a video I can go back to music and it will play through my bluetooth headphones just fine. Video sound comes out of the main speakers always.
Annoying loud audio hiss during calls and playback of camera video but not whilst watching Youtube or video from external sources or listening to mp3s.
I’ve had a GSM Galaxy Nexus for a week now.
Absolutely love this phone but there’s one problem that’s driving me mad.
There is a quite loud constant background hiss during phone calls.
It’s worst during calls over the phone’s built-in earpiece but is also audible if you plug in headphones.
What’s more the same hiss is on videos I shot with the phone’s camera but audio is clear as a bell watching Youtube videos, listening to mp3s or watching video files not recorded on the device.
Please note this is not GSM “chirping” noise interference you sometimes get but a constant hiss that starts as soon as speaker actives.
I thought it might be to do with microphone but the hiss is still there if you mute the mic during calls.
This is more likely to be a software fault isn’t it? As I hear clear audio when listening to mp3s and non-native video files.
BTW- It’s not my phone network as I’ve tried my sim card in another phone and it’s fine.
I also tried a sim card from a different phone company in the nexus and the hiss was still there.
The phone shows full signal strength and is logged onto HSDPA.
Does this sound like a software problem that will probably get updated or does it sound like I have a dud device?
I’d rather not take the phone back on the off chance as everything else on it, the screen etc, is perfect.
Anyone else having this problem?

Did it resolve the issue for either of you?
Really annoyed at myself for taking the upgrade to 4.3 as now I have an issue with bluetooth that I cannot figure out. Bluetooth audio to my reciever was perfect before but now it has the same problem no matter what app i use (tune in, xiilive, standard media player etc)
Basically the phone sends the audio but the speed varies. Like a song will play normal speed, then maybe speed up for a second, then the audio cuts out for half a second and its back to normal again. This will stream fine for maybe 5 seconds and again, any audio will speed up a bit, and cut out. Its only happened since 4.3. Anyone else have this problem or know of a way to fix it?
Well a bit of an update on this. It turns out it doesnt skip with music thats on the phone. So the stock media player and mp3s etc stream totally fine. Its just with audio that is streamed via apps like winamp, Xiilive, Tune in. They all have exactly the same problem as described above. However, the only way I can get it to stop skipping and run normally is if the screen is on and I am in the Wifi networks setting page. Its fine then, until the screen goes off, then it starts to skip again. This is so annoying now. Is it an android issue? Not connected to bluetooth through normal headphones or the Note 2 speaker, all these apps are perfect.
Hi
While listening to music in OP3, I noticed couple of problems: 1. While manually trying to close the apps running in the back ground the music player gets stuck, and 2. While listening to music, if I'm using my phone, there is a static noise that I hear continuously. It appears the mic in the earphones is picking noise and creates static noise along with the music. This is annoying. But if the phone is not being used I.e., if it is in my pocket or lying on the desk, the static noise disappears. The voice clarity is very good. Not sure what is causing the problem. Please advise.
This fix continues to be there even after the new OTA.
I'v got problem with my N7100. It's custom rom and rooted, but problem seems to appear in different roms so I think it may be coused by hardware. Firstly I had the problem with sound, no sound during calls, broken headphone jack and random noises from bottom speaker. I replaced the call speaker module for new but probably not original one. But I still had random noises like cracking from big speaker. So I replaced it for one from another phone. Now I see that when I start the phone everything is okay, but after about 30 min sometimes less, sometimes more like an hour, the sound in both speakers is gone, and phone is either very very slow, almost like one operation per few seconds (YT videos crush when I tried to check the sound), or rarely acts very fast, and YT videos play at seems like 2x speed but still with no sound. Now I have no idea what's cousing these and how to fix it. Please help.
