My new P2 has more yellowish top than bottom of screen. How it looks in your phones? Is there any perfect AMOLED without issues? Is it possible?

It's very hard to get a perfect Amoled screen but with the P2 I have gotten my first pretty much perfect Amoled screen ever. I have seen other P2's and there is some variation between them but all I have seen has been OK. Better than the screens on Samsung S7/S8 when it comes to screen uniformity. If it bothers you too much, exchange it. There are good ones out there.
Here's mine:

My screen is perfect. Uniform colours across the whole screen and no tints etc.

As some have noticed, some One X's have a screen that is biased to yellow.
My screen looks white to me (on white webpages/menu etc) although I can't compare it obviously. When I take a picture with flash the yellow is also very noticable but I am not sure whether that is linked to the following issue.
Today however I saw on a Dutch website a comparison between a normal One X and a yellow biased One X. Pictures courtesy of user CLB over at Tweakers.net http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/view_message/38048476

Different LCD screen? Software problem?
Will be different manufactures, as they have done so in the past.
Is there anyway of checking. Personally I haven't noticed any yellowish tint myself on mine.
Hi guys, today i noticed something while scrolling on my tablet. A reddish smudge on the screen, even when i rotate the screen it's in the same spot, but only it seems that that part of the screen has started showing black as red. Do you have any experience with this?

Thats a permanent damage to the backlight plate. No fix for it sorry.
Use your warranty before it expires. That's exactly what mine did, except it was 4 pink dots. Warrantied and got a brand new one, without the touchscreen problems that the previous one had.
I have same problem but I bought in MELBOURNE last September therefore no chance for replacement. ⊙▽⊙

Hi,
I just won the Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T210), while I have Tab 2 7.0 (p3110) at home. I've made some comparisons and there is one weird thing - DISPLAY!
I read everywhere how the dislpays of this devices are same and saw videos where displays of this two models looked like the same. But see this photos, especially tone of white, it looks more bad in reality:

It looks like my SM-T210 has display from SM-T110, but everything looks like 100% original.
Is possible that Samsung are putting different displays into one model?
White on amoled uses so much more power that a lcd display does, why does Samsung or the market apps not help to reduce this waste, give use an option to make white gray.
Below is a comparison between amoled and lcd power consumption, compared, see how much more power white does than on lcd, the photo is a few years old, so the difference may not be not quite as bad now.
Also why do some people make a joke when this subject comes up, when almost everybody places battery runtime as the number 1 problem to be tackled by manufactures.
John.

I bought a few days ago and last night being in the dark I put the brightness down and I saw that the screen in some colors like gray looks horrible. Hair of people and pets all green
With brightness higher than 25/30% the visualization is perfect.
It happens to someone else? It happens to all the POCO F3 or my unit has a faulty screen?
I still have 7 days to return Xiaomi... but if the problem is common I will ask for a refund and I will keep my Relame GT Master edition, the screen looks perfect.
Thanks!
