Two different types of displays? - HTC One X

As some have noticed, some One X's have a screen that is biased to yellow.
My screen looks white to me (on white webpages/menu etc) although I can't compare it obviously. When I take a picture with flash the yellow is also very noticable but I am not sure whether that is linked to the following issue.
Today however I saw on a Dutch website a comparison between a normal One X and a yellow biased One X. Pictures courtesy of user CLB over at Tweakers.net http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/view_message/38048476

Different LCD screen? Software problem?

Will be different manufactures, as they have done so in the past.

Is there anyway of checking. Personally I haven't noticed any yellowish tint myself on mine.

Screen Hardware poor quality/bad unit? See Images.

Wierd question I know.
But I have noticed that my screens surface is rough not smooth as 'regular' glas of whatever kind. And after countless cleanings and wipings and whatever the surface stil doesnt have that smoothness where one just easily touches the screen with the finger and moves easily the menu and so on.
Am going to try to take pictures, because I noticed some odd patterns on the screen if a flash light is used.
Cheers.

So what you guys think? Should I return the unit for repair or replacement?
Anyy advice is welcomed.
Cheers!
Edit: Spoke to retailer and will exchange for a new unit.

Orange glow?

Anyone else have a stupid orange glow on the camera when you look at hardwood floor or a wooden table when there is light on it?
Like a lens flare/halo effect?
This yellowish, orangish glow when looking at wood with light hitting hit.

So you're complaining because a glossy surface caused image distortion? Sounds legit.
Yeah and this is with a note 2
Comparing devices with different image sensors isn't how you figure out if there's something wrong with yours.
It looks over saturated, I don't think anything is wrong with the camera, just too much color. Try messing with the color settings on the camera.

[Q] Strange blue tint while selecting text/items

The top bar that appears while selecting text (or multiple emails in Gmail for example) has its bottom half blue, as you can see in this picture. I am sure it wasn't like this before (since that blue part is very noticeable now). Did this happen to anyone else? I'm stock rooted but haven't done anything uncommon recently.
That happens on both my Nexus 7 (stock 4.3, not rooted...yet) and HTC One (stock 4.1.2, rooted).
I think it looks awkward and out-of-place, like a glitch. Fortunately, that's where my complaint ends; the functionality seems unaffected.

[Q] Different displays in SM-T210 models?

Hi,
I just won the Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T210), while I have Tab 2 7.0 (p3110) at home. I've made some comparisons and there is one weird thing - DISPLAY!
I read everywhere how the dislpays of this devices are same and saw videos where displays of this two models looked like the same. But see this photos, especially tone of white, it looks more bad in reality:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It looks like my SM-T210 has display from SM-T110, but everything looks like 100% original.
Is possible that Samsung are putting different displays into one model?

amoled power consumption, why no option for night mode

White on amoled uses so much more power that a lcd display does, why does Samsung or the market apps not help to reduce this waste, give use an option to make white gray.
Below is a comparison between amoled and lcd power consumption, compared, see how much more power white does than on lcd, the photo is a few years old, so the difference may not be not quite as bad now.
Also why do some people make a joke when this subject comes up, when almost everybody places battery runtime as the number 1 problem to be tackled by manufactures.
John.
