Help! Before it I did a sim card unlocking. After hard reset; During primary setup of phone, after the message "Configuring your phone...". Further phone isn't loaded. How to me to correct it? LG Up doesn't see phone, I can't reprogram him.

Hi I ran in same issue. Updated to Nought 7.0 (zv8), unlocked sim and worked fine. then one day (i don't know why) i did a factory reset. after that i was in same state, it kept asking me to insert sprint sim which came with the phone to unlock.
Did you find a solution? i am working on this since few days and i hope i will reach a conclusion soon. any helpful information in this regard would be appreciated in the form of BTC.

After upgrade to the WM2K5_5.4.10_WWE FIx2 and doing some thing, the Phone service is in my O2 IIS cannot be started.
Here are steps:
- Upgrade to WM2K5_5.4.10_WWE FIx2
- The phone worked well.
- Go to SIM manager and "Save address from SIM to contact". However, I killed it during the addess saved.
- Soft reset
- problem:
The phone and contact do not work. It is just flashed and does nothing. Maybes, the contact is corrupted. Could you plz help me to reinstall the phone and contact or upgrade to what version. (Just make sure that the phone works normally)
Please help me to fix it.

I cannot see the contacts.exe in the \Windows.
It seems that the contacts.exe should be in there.
Does anybody have contacts.cab?
I don't think there is a 'contacts.cab'. Anyway, probably you want to do a hardreset to make sure everything is alright rather than just patching stuff as they appear?
I have do the hard-reset some times. Still problem.
Hello i just got an loox t830...but when i turned it on it says " new sim detected enter phome code...", the person that selled it to me don't reply my email at all, i've asked him the code several times.. is it possible to unlock the phone to use my sim...it seams that the old owner programed it and doesn't disabled before shiping it to me...

hard reset should work, otherwise you can reflash rom.

it sounds to me like the phone u were sent is locked to a certain operator
I try three different operators - the same thing!
I think the phone is locked to the card not to operator.
I know the first owner of the phone, but he can't remember the phone code.
I try ROM update and the factory reset - nothing!
The only way I can unlock the phone is to use the Programs application from the original WM5 - "Phone Lock" but the default "00000000" don't work.
If any idea - pls share, I'll try everything!

My S621 Excalibur is presenting the following error:
When I power it on with a SIM card in it, I get the message "FATAL ERROR! Data collision. Contact the service center.", then it gets stuck and I can't even access the OS. If, otherwise, I power it on WITHOUT a SIM card, it works normally.
I've tried different SIM cards of the same provider (VIVO, the one I bought my HTC from), and even of different providers, to no result.
I'd be very grateful if anyone here could help me.

Have you tried a hard reset?
HardReset didn't help you (I think). It's probably damaged CID block and there is no way to fix it for free...
Did you try SIM or CID unlock your device?
Yes, I have tried hard reset. Both through software and through hardware.
Well, thanks for your replies. I went to tech support today, and they told me it's probably bad software, and a ROM reinstall should fix it. Monday I'm taking my phone to an HTC authorized tech to see what can be done.
Anyways, thanks for your help. =) If it gets any better, I'll let you know. If not, I'll just ask for a replace.

NO SIM CARD EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY
I did factory reset, Went back to stock OS from VANIR ROM
Even got a new SIM card. Nothing seems to be working.
Please help me in fixing this.

1. Try changing radio.
2. Get a new phone. It seems to me that something broke in hardware.

what do you mean by change radio???
Not sure why the SIM card isn't being read, if it works in another phone. Any help would be thankful, already factory reset the phone a couple times.
