Hello,
I currently own the M2-A01L, which is stuck at Android 5.1 as you know. Now I compared the specs of the 803L and the A01L and found no difference except the screen size and camera (which I don't need anyway)
So would it be possible to install the stock Android 6.0 ROM of the 803L on the A01L? Has anyone tried so far?

Hello,
i would like to use the most actual Android version on my oppo find 7 and this version should include things like the 50MP Cam. I found a version for android 5 but it seems its missing the cam option and has other problems too.
So where can i get the best ROM for my needs?
Thanks a lot!
@ Oppo 1.2.7i stable or 2.0.3i Beta or 2.0 KitKat

You're stuck with the official ROM of Oppo if the 50MP UltraHD shot is all you want.

I use Kakulay OS and it's really stable and great. It's based on Stock Oppo kitkat and has all the features you want. I've been using it for almost a month now, stable ROM.
Nameless 5.0 in Oppo forums seems to be the most stable and functional 5.0 ROM. I'm using it now with no issues. If staying on COS I just use the oppo stock packages then root and remove all unneeded/modify a few settings.
I've never previously owned a OnePlus device, so i don't know how to tinker with it.
I'm Coming from a Nexus 6p. I've ordered a OnePlus 3. But it's the A3000 model which has the Hydrogen OS installed.
I like the Stock Oxygen OS of the OnePlus 3. My question is,
1 - Will things i.e; rooting methods, rom compatibility, etc be different for A3000 & A3003.
2- Will i be able to flash and receive OTA updates of Oxygen OS on A3003 Chinese Version.

1) they are the same. Just different regions with different lte bands. So flashin roms are the same.
2) once you install oxygen Os you will recieve Ota as normal.
My opinion: i like more the hydrogen os than oxygen. Its more battery friendly and it feels like device performing faster. So i would pike to stay at h2os. Just debloat it

I see some people recommending each other installing firmware packages (3.5.5 in most cases) and I just wonder what's the point of this? I've installed official snapshot of CM13 right after unboxing of my OP3 and now I'm confused - did I make it right? Maybe I should first update OxygenOS and THEN install CM13? Or maybe I should flash 3.5.5 firmware zip over the CyanogenMod right now?
Thanks for explain in advance.

You don't have to update OxygenOS before CM, so you did it right! (But at least in some versions of CM14.1 it is required to have OxygenOS 3.2.6 or newer to work.)
3.5.5 is just a community build based on OxygenOS.

Interesting! I did flash MC13 without even knowing that i needed 3.2.6 lol it worked just fine and i have flashed MC14.1 a few times... Once you got MC13 installed going back to stock really really sucks!!!

My wife's phone just came in after repair. Has been upgraded to 6.0.1 official. How can I root this version? Is there VoLTE in this ROM?
Should I stick to official or change to CM13 or CM14? Usage is simple, WhatsApp and Facebook mainly.
Only need root to shift WhatsApp data to SdCard and to use TiB. And need VoLTE if possible.
What is the preferred ROM with good battery life?

Hello Eagle-no1,
I have the same tablet, and looking for Custom ROMs for it since 6-8 months now. So far found nothing, at least not for "Global" version of it.
Mine is the M2-801L model, with the latest official B208 ROM installed on it (Android 6.0).
If you need any details on official ROMs, check my other posts on that topic.
Custom ROMs for this tablet seem to be a pain in the back side, because of the Kirin 930 - official explanation (where the same CPU is on the other Huawei models like Honor P8 or X2 and still lots of custom ROMs are available for those) - not sure what would be the unofficial reason if any...
Hope this helps anyhow.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards.

The same configuration. Root and deleted idle Huawei programs.
