Hi guys. Big problem here. I tried several times to install that xposed module. Everytime it ended in a bootloop. I tried v78 and v79 both sdk23-arm64. Neither of them worked. Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?(aslo, ask if you need any file, I'll provide them). Thanks in advance!
Have you got any modules installed?

Nope, fresh install. Need to roll back to Lollipop.
Xposed only works on deodexed roms.
If you try to install on stock MM rom it doesn't work giving you bootloop.
There's a file on app and theme sub forum with deodexed apps that you can flash or just flash Genisys rom.
So i can flash the new Xposed v79 on my Genisys 3.4 Lg w/o problems? Thought only the in rom v78 is working?
v79 was just released.
But it should work on Genisys rom as v78.
Just make a backup or simply if something goes wrong flash the Uninstaller provided on xposed thread.
Ok guys. I will try later today. I'll tell you then the results.

I just upgraded Genisys 3.4 from xPosed 78 to 79. Since 3.4 came with 78 baked in, I did not expect this to work, but atm the phone has booted and is in the Optimizing app stage. I should be good to go.
BTW, I did do an xPosed Uninstall from twrp before installing 79.
Confirmed. This worked for me.

I tested V79 no problem... but first Flash uninstaller xposed, after flash xposed v79. and wipe dalvik-cache reboot...
Sooo, guys, the only solution to my problem is to deodex the rom? There is no other way? OK, I'm trying this right now. I'll post the results.
update: Finally, it booted up. Now the problem is that deodexed rom has A LOT OF PROBLEMS (bluetooth, keyboard etc etc don't work). I'm wating another suggestions.

Hi,
are you sure about that? Xposed worked for me with the Lollipop stock rom but not with the Marshmallow (20A 25.11.2015) one on my H815. Can you point me to another source that states xposed won't work on LG stock roms. I can't find anything about that.
thx.
Yes i´m shure.
If that wasn`t true someone already should give you an answer.
See the post above yours that states that after flashing deodexed apps it started to work but have some problems.
Lollipop is not Marshmallow.
If it works on one it doesn`t mean it`s going to work on the other.
Same thing as root,on Lollipop you can get it without unlocking bootloader,on Marshmallow that`s just not possible for now.
I`m not pointing to any source because there`s no need for it.
Try iit for your self and you will have your answer since you seem not to believe the post mentioned here and what i told you.
Okay, calm down, everything is fine. I am well aware of the fact that Lollipop is not Marshmallow, but you stated xposed doesn't work on non deodexed roms which is a false statement since it works with stock LG Lollipop rom. Whatever, will have to wait till the custom roms get less buggy.
greets
I told it only works on deodexed rom because this thread as the title says "Xposed for Marshmallow" it's self explanatory.
I didn't thought I needed to be more specific.
I'm sorry for that, I'm not being rude.
Genisys rom is not buggy, it's very stable.
Other than that you have to wait for another xposed release to see if it works with non deodexed stock Marshmallow rom.
Cheers and happy holidays
Yeah, I see now how you meant it. Do you recommend Genisys rom?
happy holidays to you to
Yes.
Not because it's the only stock rom based still being manteined but because it's stable enough.
Hello all,
Im trying to play Pokemon while mantaining the excellent Imperium ROM... the workaround I found so far was to remove root and flash the stock kernel (v20g) to play and then just flash imperium kernel back when I finished, but the v20g kernel break bluetooth.
Does anybody has a zip for the stock v20i (imperium is based on this version) to try?
Ps.: Would also appreciate any info on how to extract from KDZ.
Best Regards,
Igor

Hi you may want to look into this ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Magisk gives you the possibility to hide root for certain apps. That could save you much time in reflashing kernels.
Not working anymore
I used this method for a while, doesnt work anymore.
I guess i need to install the bluetooth modules, dont know where to find.
Im ok without root (if i can turn it on with a reboot when needed) but not without bluetooth.
Im more sedentary than I should so Pokemon is kind of important now (previous methods of getting out of the sofa wheren't so effective)
Thanks

You need to flash the 35b bootstack zip file before you flash a custom ROM(24b may work as well, but 35b is the newest) on the vs985; you don't have to flash it every time, once should be good enough... https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347843993
So... flash bootstack, then rom, then gapps, etc

Hmm...do you have substratum installed? If yes, here's instructions to remove them(from substratum g+ site):
REMOVE OVERLAYS IN TWRP
? Flash the rescue zips located inside the Substratum folder on internal storage.
OR
? Substratum OMS - reboot into TWRP and remove the xml from /data/system/overlay.xml
? Legacy - Mount system in TWRP and remove the overlays from system/vendor/overlays

Ok. Also, I've never used fulmics before so you may wanna go over to that thread and ask about your overlay issue. It may be a setting in the ROM I don't know about.
A modified xposed installer and framework for nougat is now available thanks to the Purify os team and rovo
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-nougat-sdk-25-arm64-t3639221
Follow the link above.
1. Make backups, twrp/titanium
2. Install the modified xposed installer first, must be done first!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=13191#downloads
Use the top one on the list it may get updated
3. Next download the modified xposed framework from Purify here
http://fastkit.org/xposed/
Follow the links.... SDK24 for nougat 7.0..... Then download the xposed version 87 model... Flash from twrp
Again make sure you fully back up, it all went fine for me, but sometimes these things don't go right.
Plenty of posts in the linked forum but a bit of a jumble as usual, all with varied results, but the above will work for us.
Not sure how many modules are usable yet, I have one working so I know it does work.

Not something I would normally do, is there a particular module you use for that?
It's been such a long time since I came across this, being able to adjust screen ratio and dpi on a per app basis. No real reason to now but with the 4:3 ratio on this tab, it'll be nice.
Also, been a while since I've used xbosed

had the same problem.. remove magisk and install superSU.. xposed do not work with magisk -.-' on this tablet..
Question, how do I remove xposed again?
Can I do it with the installer app, or do I need a special skript? Never used Xposed on Samsung before and I know everything works differently.
Hello,
Your experience : Do you have a "" Tab S3 SM-T825, Nougat 7.0, Root SuperSU "" on which you have installed Xposed.
1- Does Xposed work normally with different modules?
(No Bootloop or tablet block?)
2 - Which version xposed * .zip ?
3 - Which Version XposedInstaller _ *. Apk ?
Thank you

Fairly old thread this, I have a T820, however I've made roms for both variants, the t825 thread is here,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s3/development/rom-sm-t825-tweaked-t3769742
the earlier versions are nougat the latest 3.0 on are oreo both work fine, you'll find instructions in the thread, if changing to oreo you need to flash the oreo bootloader, through odin, if returning to nougat you need to flash the older nougat bootloader as they're not cross compatible.
Xposed works fine on both, xposed installer included after booting, start the xposed installer app and select install it picks the correct version.
Root is by magisk.

Hello Rorymc
Thanks for the answer and for the link SM-T825 TWEAKED, but I'm already Root with SuperSU + Dm-Verity with Rom ARA2 Nougat 7.0 and I just have to flash Xposed with TWRP.
So, I think I have to take Xposed.zip and Xposedinstaller APK from rovo89 in pure version without add and unmodified ?
I hope I'm not mistaken .....

Hello,

HUGE thanks to @giri45 for actually providing the fix!
What's this?
A Unity installer ensures that you can use this module with any kind of root solution (as long as it supports init.d)! If you have Magisk, flash the module through the Magisk Manager, but if you don't have Magisk, just flash the module through TWRP. When you want to uninstall the module, flash it again in Magisk Manager or TWRP.
As for the module itself, it provides a fix for LiveDisplay/Night Light on the Moto G5/G5S for anyone running an AOSP-based ROM running Android 9 or higher, and enables Camera2 API + EIS if you wish so.
Do NOT attempt to install this on other devices, or ROMs based on Android <9! Device and Android version checks have been applied to make sure this module will not install on incompatible devices. This module assumes that you are using the latest stock Oreo firmware (including bootloader, GPT and etc.)! Do not report issues if you are not on the latest firmware.
Tested ROMs:
Havoc OS 2.2
Pixel Experience 9.0
AOSPExtended 6.3
crDroid 5.0
Known issues:
Fix doesn't work on Nougat firmware. You must have fully flashed the stock ROM/flashed it via OTA, for this fix to work.
Downloads:
Download from Magisk Repo.
Flash via Magisk Manager or TWRP. Make sure you have a root solution which supports init.d!
Thanx for trying to fix this. Unfortunately it's not working on my xt1794 running AospExtented. First try flashing through twrp failed, the updaterscript didn't recognize my phone (correctly), then installing as magisk module, but no night light..

That's really weird. Installs fine and works on PE, installs fine but doesn't work on ViperOS, and now doesn't work on AOSPExtended.
Could you try providing installation logs located in the Internal storage?
Have you also tried manually replacing the files? If that works, then it's not a problem with the ROM...
