Hi, I want to update my Samsung note 10.1 2014 edition p605 to the latest firmware, I live in nigeria, and the update takes years to get here. Can anybody help me with the update from another country that can work for me, details are;

So, I bought this tablet a couple of weeks ago from one of the biggest electronics sellers in my country (SCAN Malta), and I haven't been able to update to the latest firmware (4.4 Kitkat, currently I'm on 4.3 JB). I tried to do this both OTA and through Kies, however I cannot seem to find information anywhere if there are some specific region models who have not received this update yet.
My tablet is an SM-P605 LTE edition (16gb) Wifi. My second question concerns the fact that I cannot seem to record videos at 60fps I am sure that I didn't get a counterfeit, but is there a way to check the genuinity of my purchase?

What is the exact rom that it is currently on? What rom have you downloaded and tried to flash? You need to specify further details.

Thanks for the reply. I did not download any roms, I am trying to update normally without rooting and it's telling me that the latest updates/firmware has already been installed. As far as I'm aware kitkat is already out for this device through normal firmware updates.

I can't get 60FPS either even after the KK update. Either it's not enabled in the ROM or it just doesn't exist on the P605.
If it's running 4.3 and you are awaiting 4.4.2 then you just have to wait until the rom is released in your country of residence. KK has not yet been released globally, peple such as myself have flashed the rom to have the latest OS.

Oh, I didn't know that some LTE editions do not have 60fps, I'm confused lol

Just bought this thing hoping I could put a custom rom on it came with 442 and I wish it was an older firmware so I can use a custom recovery for a new rom. Pissed...I would be happy with 4.3 custom rom...

I purchased 3 SM-T700 8.4 Tab S from ebay... separate purchases from different sellers. One of them seems to be the Panama version. (T700XXU1BOD5) and it automatically updated to Lollipop using WiFi. However the other two TAB's seem to be the CANADA version (T700XXU1ANL2) and these won't automatically update to Lollipop.
My question is if I can install lollipop firmware for the Panama version into this CANADA version tab?? I can download the firmware from sammobile.com.
Please confirm.

Did it work for you? I want to do the same thing to my Canadian Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (Wi-Fi) SM-T330NU now that the Korean lollipop 5.1.1 update is out.

I am using Hong Kong version LG G3 D855 (32GB), with Android 4.4.2 (v10n-HKG-XX).
Recently want to clean my phone and re-flash stock ROM, and I noticed Android 6.0 is out.
I downloaded D855's "v30a" firmware here：http://lg-phone-firmware.com/firmware-Lg+G3-Tutti-41.html
And searched for root method around, but looks like there are no root method available, kingroot may be working but not sure.
Is my understanding correct?
If D855's Android 6.0 is still not rootable, then I will not flash 6.0 and I will flash 5.0. Please advise, thanks in advance!
Some people report that the kingroot method works but also some of them had issues after the process. Personally I don't trust this method that's why I'm still unrooted on 6.0.
The other thing you can do is flash a pre-rooted 6.0 rom on a previous android version.
