[Q] How to get latest firmware 4.1.2?

My country (South Africa) is slow with the times. The latest firmware out here is 4.1.1. I'm trying to install Simplistic Framework but apparently the earliest it supports is 4.1.2. Now can I just download and flash the stock firmware from the UK from Samfirmware.com? Will it work? Here are the details for that firmware:
GT-N7100 United Kingdom 2013 February 4.1.2 N7100XXDMB2 N7100OXXDMB2
Here are my phone details:

Or should I just flash Omega rom?

firmware update
.. I have same problem with my note 2 n7100 international edition bought it in Russia few month ago but I am in Georgia right no but no new 4.1.2 update arrived. Any one have any info when sumsung will realise new firmware for my country?
I Read that new new firmware have battery drine issue? Is it true? Or it was fixed? Sorry for my english and thanks

ok, i had the same problem in my country with delayed N7100 updates. so i downloaded the UK version of 4.1.2
the UK version worked fine
but i noticed that the battery drain is much more than the stock 4.1.1
i am now on Omega v12 Rom and it is 4.1.2 with great utilities and less battery drain for sure
i recommend Omega for now :good: as the look is the same as the stock 4.1.2 except for few things such as notifications .... etc

I have tried to look on KIES but the firmware wont accepted.
So i have make a samsung account this works oke, but can anyone tell me is this a clone or a official tab.

I flash the new firmware thru odin everthing works fine.

Kitkat update for note 10.1 2014 edition.

I am checking my new note 2014 edition 3G version for software update (kitkat 4.4) but it says there is no new updates available, while it currently runs jelly bean 4.3.
Any advice?

If you are not rooted then it could be because the update is not available in every region. Check the update on sammobile.com and install via odin.

Did you check SamMobile? - I know the 5120 came out a few weeks ago.

Australia is usually left behind, and sometime wont ever see an update. Just Flash another regions firmware onto your device its simple, easy and painless.
I usually use the UK version:

I have flashed mine with Cyanogenmod , its now running 4.4.4 love it. I recommend if you going to upgrade to CyanogenMod is to install CWM, just incase something goes wrong.

But i have also flashed prior to using CyanogenMod - the UK Version Firmware for Note 8 - did the Kitkat, did it to my Note 8 and also Samsung S4.
Simple really, download Odin flash it with the new firmware

why is there two kitkat for italy help please

i have the italy kitkat for the sm-t210 and always check everyday so i can flash back touk jelly bean to grab the uk kitkat if it ever gets here
but i notice one two web sites there another kitkat for italy

It's just an updated version, look at the build date & changelist between the two, download & flash the newest one if you want or just wait until a OTA or Kies update is available.
Like the T310 & many other Samsung devices it'll keep getting newer updated firmware versions put out over the coming months for various regions.
There's no changelog available for these as far as I know, but if your having any issues with whatever firmware your on right now, it might be worthwhile seeing if it's been fixed in a more recent build for your region.
