Can't "swipe up" on Messenger to reply - Huawei Watch

So guys and girls after going from AW 1.5 to 2.0 I was curious to try the built in reply function.
But when I receive a message on fb messenger and go all the way down and try swiping up nothing happens. I have the arrow that indicates i should do that but its not working for some reason.
Is that the same for you all? Does this function work for fb msnger?

you tap on the notification, for google messages it gives me smart replies but for other apps like textra just the old options mic, keyboard and emojies

Yeah I tap and it even shows the little arrow at the bottom of the screen indicating "swipe up" but swiping up doesn't do anything (nor does tapping etc)

Finger trouble browsing emails

I'm having problems scrolling through emails using Touchflo. I have 32 unread messages, but when I try swiping upwards or downwards on the envelope nothing happens - except I usually accidentally open the currently displayed message. What's the trick to scrolling through messages, and is there a list view which I can use instead?
I agree it can be a bit fiddly but a quick swipe seems to work best. Better still just press the inbox button on the bottom left and it will take you to the normal windows list of emails.

scrape up/down ON the envelope to scroll through messgaes. Click/scrape on the bit of the message you see to view the full message.

Friendcaster

Does anyone else find it impossible to access the main menu of friendcaster, on my phone when I press back from the newsfeed the app opens another menu with events, friends etc. On my N7 (latest software) when i press back while in the newsfeed the app closes, thus I cannot access the menu. Am I being stupid and missing some setting somewhere or is this a bug?
Is it the same set of options you get when you press the friendcaster icon in the top left corner? Not got it on my phone to check, sorry.

GO SMS Pro - Hide Emoticon and Voice Icon

Does anyone know how to hide the little smiley for emojis and the microphone for speech to text in GO SMS. I never use those two icons on the text input box and I want to removed. I can't seem to figure out how though. Been through the menus a few times.
I have seen in some photos of Go SMS themes and it's not there which leaves me to believe there has to be a way to hide it.
I'm also looking for something that can disable or remove that voice button from Go SMS... Waiting for some positive reply!
Been looking for that too. For me that gosms microphone button doesn't even work. I speak into the phone but no words appear in the texting field while if I press the microphone button on the keyboard I can speak into the phone and the words appear in the text field. So what that gosms microphone button even is I have no idea!
same here
ive been looking for the solution over a long time . but no good news for me. anyone else?

[Q] Moto360, reply to text, vibrate notification

Hey all,
Please don't flame, I am just looking for help (and I did search, I just want to make sure I am reading the state of things correctly).
I got a Moto360, and I use a Gear Fit. Is there still no way (on an S5) to use a "quick reply" to a text? Using the stock app? It is so nice on the Fit to just swipe a pre-configured text reply. I can't seem to do that on the 360, and what I read indicates I have to use a third party app?? Seems backward, but do I have that right?
Also, I can't seem to get my 360 to vibrate when I get a notification (email or text). I'm sure this is just user error, but I can't find the setting.
Thanks
When you receive a text, swipe to the right until you see reply, then if the speech request comes up, tap the screen again to get the quick reply options.
Pull down from the main clock screen and you'll see the mute/unmute. You're probably muted. Muted in this device's case means vibrate/don't vibrate (there's no speaker).
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I tried it, and when I get to the speech request, there don't seem to be any other pages. I swipe all directions, and all I can do is go back. Do I need to configure it somewhere?
You say you're swiping in all directions. Just tap in the center. So to sum it up:
Recieve text message
Swipe to the left to read it
Swipe again to the left to Reply, then tap
When speech req box comes up, tap, and that should bring up the canned reply menu

Thanks for sticking with me. I admit to being daft. Unless you're having a laugh on me, I just can't see it. When I get a text, I open it, tap "reply", get the voice dictation screen, and...nothing. I swipe, tap, double tap, nothing opens any submenu and I never see any canned replies. Any idea what I'm missing??
I'm using an S5, if that matters...
EDIT: It must have something to do with the type of messaging app. The stock Samsung app acts weird; this one just lets you hit "reply", then it sends a blank text. Handsent SMS doesn't even give you a reply option. Textra allows you to reply and pops up the voice reply app. If there an app that has the canned responses? Or is it just a flat spot for Samsung?
My experiences:
~Stock messaging app on my Nexus 4: swipe left, no reply feature on watch, only "open on phone"
~Go SMS Pro: swipe left, no reply feature on watch...which is weird because it used to have it...I swear it did...
~Messenger (from Google): swipe left (shows full conversation thread), swipe left again, tap reply, start speaking when it shows "speak now"
So it would appear that different apps do function differently on the watch.
Ah, yes, it does depend on the app you're using. I'm using Google Hangouts.
Note- Google Hangouts, not Messenger.
So, for anyone that cares, your mileage will vary GREATLY depending on what messaging app you use. It's a little disappointing that a relatively "dumber" device like the Fit (which I bought for $79) works like a champ with replying to texts, and the "smart" watch is a little dumb with such a basic feature. I will give Hangouts a try, although I am not crazy about the looks of the UI.
Thanks guys, and if there are others apps that work well with SMS, please let me know.
When you go to reply screen with Google screen, swipe up to reveal canned texts.
Works with hangouts and messenger

This is the fault of the app makers, not Android Wear.

Be that as it may, and I'm sure it is, it still stinks.
So, if you're looking, the canned texts works with Hangouts and Messenger ONLY that I've found. Have you guys found a way to add custom canned text?

Sure. I just felt the distinction was important, as software issues get fixed or features added. Device design flaws don't.
There's an app called wear canned responses .. But your phone need to be rooted.. It uses xposed... Also xposed doesn't work on lollipop

Has anyone found any other apps that allow a text response OTHER than Hangouts?

Gmail messages won't archive from notification bar - anyone else?

I've got an annoying issue with the Gmail app. I'm on t-mobile g7. From the notification bar, whenever I click on the ARCHIVE button for a gmail message, I get two different results, both of which are errors IMO.
1. Result from pressing button is nothing at all. I see the button illuminate when I tap it, but repeatedly trying to tap it results in no action at all, the notification stays there until I swipe it away.
2. Sometimes I will press ARCHIVE button, and the notification will minimize itself and change from the email message to ARCHIVED, which used to be fine and disappear by itself, but the damn ARCHIVED message will stay in the notification bar until I swipe it away. What the hell!
I've already tried clearing data, cache, disabling, everything and still I get the same result. Anyone else or know of a fix?
