[Q] CM7 Launcher Issues

I really like CM7, but I'm having problems when installing launchers. I've tried both LauncherPro and Go Launcher Ex. When I install the new launcher, it's menu doesn't show up under Settings and ADWLauncher's menu disappears. So I'm stuck being able to do anything. Any ideas?
Since I'm not seeing it, can anyone tell me where LauncherPro's menu should show up? I'm assuming just under CyanogenMod settings where ADWLauncher used to be.
Have u tried hit menu in home screen after installed go launcherEx?

Thanks, that's it! I didn't think to check there because I have a shortcut to Settings, and that's where I accessed ADWLauncher's settings.

I checked out the reviews and it looks like a good launcher, but I'm quite happy with LauncherPro for now. Tks.
if you install a launcher different from ADW it is normal...if you uninstall the new launcher the adw settings' sub menu will appear again...
and a new menu will be under menu/more/adw settings ...
go launcher ex ftw.
Can anyone tell me if there is a default android launcher(unlike sense launcehr,ADW,etc.)
i.e. a "core" launcher or something like that.

[Q] Apex Launcher Question...

I had a quick question for you Apex Launcher users...
I recently decided to try hiding some apps in the app drawer... I was wondering, is there any way to access these apps without un-hiding them???

A search should turn them up assuming you include applications in your searches.

This.
Also, if you used the market to install the particular app that is hidden, you should be able to open it from "my apps" as well

Place widgets anywhere [REQ]

Hi all,
I am looking to customise my Google Nexus 7 theme but one thing I find very frustrating is the widgets push one another about.
Is anyone able to advise of an app that allows them to overlap/be put where I want?
Thanks
Try Nova launcher
+1, Nova Launcher allow this to ahppen, even allows you too place them onto when your adding a widget to homescreens.

Stock applications (clock, calendar etc.) not showing in Nova Launcher app drawer

Hey Everyone,
I'm using Nova Launcher Prime on my Nexus 7 (unrooted) and for some reason stock apps, such as the clock and calendar, aren't showing up in the app drawer. They haven't been disabled and still appear when using the stock launcher so can anyone explain why they don't show in the nova drawer? Is there a way to make them show up?
Thanks
I use the free version and don't see a way you could have mistakenly hidden any. On the paid version there looks to be a way or at least group the apps differently.
Go into App drawer and into Nova Settings (three dots). Click on DRAWER. There is a HIDE APPS section.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: I noticed you're using PRIME version so editing my comment.
Did you accidentally switch to the "downloaded" view for the app drawer?

This is a launcher specific feature. Stock launcher doesnt have this option. Nova launcher along with many other custom launchers have the ability to hide apps.

You can launch shelf on any launcher with a shortcut from back or recent keys shortcut. I use nova launcher and i've set double tap recent key for shelf.

Hey,
