I am curios also... I think due to the limited amount of v522 out there we may be left out on the dark.
Lets hope some XDA wiz helps us out, would love root access for manage external SD and get AdAway installed.

i would love to try out new roms and fully utilize my awesome i467 note 8.0
this locked bootloader sucks
im willing to even pay .
moderator if i posted in the wrong section , please remove.
There´s no need to unlock bootloader to try any ROM I think...
You just have to check if your Note 8 is the N5100, N5110 or N5120 version, that I think in your case is the N5120

I would pay too. A only partially functional 4.1.2 is not ideal. Screen lag is killing me.
Yes the i467 is a different variation, and I agree the screen lag really sucks. I wish someone could help us.... it would be a great xmas presant ; p aaaaaand id give you a night with my sexy korean gf
It's just rather strange and irritating that there is no support in here for the U.S. variant (SGH-i467). I bought mine from AT&T .. should have look on here first before getting it !!

Guys, sorry but we're all basically screwed on this one! Unlocking the bootloader on this device just isn't going to happen. Even if it did my some miracle, there's no one that wants to build a custom rom for it. There's barely anyone that wants to build a rom for the wifi version! This device never really just caught on in popularity like some others. My advice is to just take the bite like I did and get something else. I'm sure you could find someone out there that doesn't care about an unlocked bootloader that'll take it off your hands. It does suck but that's just the way it is.
Trust me, I learned the hard way too!!! If it helps I would recommend a Nexus 7 2013. It's not to expensive and there are tons of roms out there. Even if you don't root it or unlock it it's already updated to 4.4.2. Well, anyways, everyone have a Merry Christmas!!!!!

Hello guys,
I was thinking about getting the G3, so I wanted to know if you guys do recommend it.
I know it's a LG G3 forum, but maybe you're not satisfied with it and you can give me your honest opinion.
Also, what's the cheapest way to make it QI-enabled? I do have multiple charging pads.
And lastly, is there any way to flash a stock android rom?
Thank you!
Hey guys, has anyone seen this or tried to do this?

if u havent heard the root method on here then its too good to be true.
This is for the dev edition fo sho. It mentions CF-Autoroot which has been used for the dev edition only. Unless chainfire has come up with something new for the regular Verizon N4 without telling us about it. lol
From my Allianced S5!
This makes number 10. Lol.
Enough on this topic, everyone move along please.
Hi, I have LG G4 Beat and I would like to root it.
I have heard of KingRoot/KingoRoot, is that the same thing? Is it safe to use? I read they are shady, is that true? On KingoRoot site, LG G4 Beat is not on the supported devices list but they say this: " Please note that this list is incomplete. "NOT LISTED" does not necessarily mean "NOT SUPPORTED"."
Is it dangerous to try? Will it work? Is there a better and safer way to root my LG G4 Beat device that will work for sure?
Sorry to say.... ever though the moniker is similar, the g4 beat is a vastly different model to the G4
So no one will be able to tell you if it works unless they've tried it on a g4 beat before

That makes sense, that's why I said [LG G4 Beat] and I posted it here because there isn't a G4 Beat forum.
But can you tell me about Kingroot? Are they indeed shady? Is it safe to root using their application? Are they reliable? I am pretty new to that stuff and if this proccess can be automated then that would be really nice.
Go this thread on first page read th entire thread u will know the pros and cons hit like if it helps

I would think that's a question for another forum not the Galaxy S9 forums. These threads go off subject a lot but probably not developing for other brands.

I would think it would be super easy to root a clone... Have u tried enabling developer mode then switching OEM unlock on? I'm sure if you read enough of the forums you will figure it out. The other guy is right though, this is for the real version of the s9. The clone has completely different hardware and capabilities. The methods described here will not work for your device.

I'm guessing that is Vkworld's latest clone. At face value it looks like a deal but I'm wondering how it will hold up over time. Anyway, there has been development on their previous S8 model so I would expext someone may be working on the S9. Do a search for Vkworld and you'll find hits, most likely for older models but those forums will be the best place to start.
