I took the plunge and upgraded to the S8 Plus. Thanks for all the help, insight and the early version of M.

Hey Guys,
Just a message to say I'm leaving and have ordered a new phone, I've been with you guys since early December I think, so much amazing work has been done to this phone and hopefully CM9 will be completed sooner than later, If your wondering (see what I did there ) I've just ordered a Galaxy Note while they were on offer before the note 2 comes out, got it on a 20.50 a month contract and hopefully it will be just as good or even better than the Wonder, Thank you all for the help and assistance and good luck with the future.
Thanks
Jamie
Just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped me back in the day after my phone was stolen from work. A large group of you got together and helped me purchase the Galaxy SIII as a replacement phone. In return, I worked extremely hard to learn how to build ROMs and put out the first custom ROM for the T-Mobile Galaxy SIII with the help of some friends I made along the way. I am forever thankful to you guys.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank all the hard working dev's who continue to put out stellar ROMs for this phone. You have quenched my thirst and helped me feel like I still had a brand new phone as new phones came out.
As of today, I am the proud owner of the LG G2 and will be giving my wife my GS3 until she is due for an upgrade next year.
Perhaps you'll see a redruM ROM over there on the G2 side....who knows
Thank you all :highfive:

Good luck! I remember running your ROM when I first got my S3. It was so nice not having any bloat. Thank you!
Your work was greatly appreciated. Thank you sir!
So I took the Nexus 5X plunge yesterday and so far so good but my question is regarding all the system updates. I haven't done any since the store where I got the phone told me to "update at my own risk". Is it ok to update with the current version?

its really necessary to update as we're on Android 7.0 now. between 6.0 and 7.0 countless bugs and security issues have been fixed.
Thanks for the replies guys. Finally did all the updates early this morning. Question: Should I upgrade to Nougat? I just admit I'm curious about it but at the same scared since I have been seeing a few problem threads of people who upgraded.

Don't upgrade unless you plan on sticking with 7.0. It's solid for me overall but seeing issues with the downgrade process cropping up isn't reassuring.

I did it and I'd do it again. So yes, I recommend N upgrade.
Got another N5x Sunday had about 4 system update out of box then enrolled in beta updated to 7.0 no issue have noticed antenna is lame compared to Moto G4 down at my caravan I could get signal with G4 but the N5x struggled to even pick up signal bars not alone data battery not as good as G4 too

Thanks for the inputs guys. I'm reading all the stuff regarding N update before taking the plunge. So far it seems like a no brainer though ?
Hey everyone i used to own a t210r quite a while ago but there was little support for 7 inch tab 3s so i sold mine. A month ago i picked up a t217s for a deal i couldnt refuse and was suprised when i saw all this support. Just wondering from all you developers for the t217s do you have plans on android n for the device.? If anyone could let me know that would be great thanks for your time
Hi everyone, im a long time Sony user, my actual phone is a Z1. It launched with Android 4.2 and it keep's updating until Android 5.1.1.
My question is, Motorola will keep releases in similar way?
I'm insterested in the Moto Z Play, probably i will buy it in two weeks, is a nice update to my actual phone and i love the idea of the motomods, JBL sound and extra battery are really nice.
Will this phone get one or two Androids release?
Thank you for reading.
It was on 6.0 and now 7.0, I think we can expect much mores updates
II disagree., we got N. I really do not foresee us getting O and if we do it will be so late into it that P would be due soon at that point.
But either way it is a nice phone.
thanks both of you for your answers!
