I am looking to an unbranded firmware for my HTC Desire C. Please can someone point me to the right direction. I have searched and searched the usual sources and can only find the Verizon ones and not the unbranded one.

I found this but dunno bout the unbraded part tho. Also u could download a branded ruu and create a goldcard to bypass the cid check

island3r, when I started the thread I couldnt see the Desire C section.. perhaps mods can move this thread if the sections exists
jmcclue, does this apply to Desire C? as I have been able to change CID using adb tool commands before.
Please advise.. appreciate your helps guys..

Hi,
I have been searching for an RUU for the australia optus branded HTC one V (CID 980 or OPTUS_001) but have had no luck.... does anyone know where I can get it? I would be eternally grateful as my one V constantly reboots due to a radio update ota...
Have since rooted and installed many different custom roms with no change in the outcome... so i unfortunately need the RUU otherwise the phone is going to have to become a paper weight.
I've also tried many other RUU;s for different CIDs but with no luck (they all say wrong CID).
I would even be prepared to pay someone if they needed me to!!!
check the htcdev website. if an ruu was released for your device,it would be there.
There's no RUU for OPTUS001 CID as of what I know.

Ok thanks guys. So am I right in saying that there is NO way I can change my CID (to 111111) because its not possible to gain S-Off on the HTC One V?
Then this means there is no way I can use another RUU to revert the phone back to stock because it will only accept the OPTUS001 RUU?
Hi.
My dad bought a htc one x+ and it's S-OFF and has a cid of 11111111
Does anyone have a tutorial how to root a S-OFF phone?
thanks in advance!!

Hi,
I have an HTC ONE M9 on the ORANG001 EE Firmware as the title states.
I need to return my phone to stock, bootloader is unlocked via HTC Dev and it's S-ON, my question is:
If I get another HTC M9 with the EE ORANG001 FIRMWARE on it. Can I fastboot boot TWRP and make a full backup and then just flash that back up to my M9 to return it to FULL stock again?
Thanks in advance.
Wrong subforum
Anyone have any info regarding this?
