I know since our device got the 4.3 update lots of us have wanted to try the xperia themes. While there are methods to patch the OS or manually install the theme APK's please avoid doing so. While the theme may be installed and may appear to be working, there are problems with UI elements (i.e. on-screen navigation buttons don't change). Firstly, the unofficial 'patch' of sorts installs the APK, but not all of the UI gets updated by the theme. Secondly, if you try switching from a theme that was installed to the phone (excluding the preinstalled ones), certain UI elements don't work properly (i.e. volume popup disappearing or not updating). Thirdly, the downloaded themes make the device lag, as compared to how smooth the preinstalled themes work.
So let us all wait on Sony to do their official update. The xperia themes can wait.

See the following thread in the Xperia M General section:
[SS/DS] [LB] Nicki Root - Full root method for Android 4.3 update (v1.1)
This provides root access for Locked Bootloader Xperia M
If you already have Android 4.3 on your phone you'll have to re-flash Android 4.1.2 to start the root process.

(sorry for my bad english)
have a rooted G3 running the latest cloudy rom.
how do i add custom fonts to settings>display>fonts without using LG smartworld or iFont or similar apps......?
i want to be able to add to the font list already on the phone (like on HTC, Samsung etc)...
can only find solutions to change the default system font using iFont/HiFont/Font Installer etc....
must be some way? can't find anything about this anywhere....
TIA
As the title says, does anybody know how to apply themes/Icons after upgrading to Nougat? I cant "find" or apply any of the themes/icons that I used before updating to 7.0...
A bit annoying if LG has done so that We have to use the Themes from LG`s own appstore !

No not all of them, but still how to add the themes in Nougat when all you can access is the ones that are standard and when you press the "add" button you get directed to LG app store?.... And also the same with icon packs you used to add them the same place/way as with regular themes... All of this has changed in the Nougat release, so thats why I wonder how do you guys do this now? ??

i have not use themes from lg store.
i only useed the ones built in rom.
Yep. I'd like to change the font. My phone is rooted stock. Now, are there any font changer apps that work well and do not give you malware? Or is flashing via TWRP only recommended?
Please and thanks!
I use this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/themes/font-flashable-ubuntu-font-zip-pixel-2-t3710892
Tons of fonts, and OP is super kind and quick to take font requests!
Don't know about any apps though; a ROM with full OMS commits could give you font options as well.
2nd the above font zips thread!

FontFix works pretty good for me :good:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.font.installer
I use ifont. Works fine.
I've been using Midnight Core (magisk module)and has been really good ... almost 50 different fonts to choose from and they are installed systemlessly and can be changed on the go as wanted and works on custom roms . All you have to do is download and install the module in Magisk and download terminal emulator and follow the instructions in the link.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-midnightcore-one-midnight-modules-t3762758
I'm rooted with latest magisk on official pie and not able to theme via sunstratum.
Is there any trick I've missed?
I've bootloopedn2 times for that already cuz of the move it to system apps folder tutorial on here
Just use the substratum v998 and it will work on pie
