Hi Guys ,
I tried doing factory data reset in my Galaxy Grand device. Unfortunately , my device got restarted and is now in a bootloop.
if i press VOLUME UP + Power + Home unable to do anything.
IF i press Volume down + Power + Home my device is asking me to go to download mode .
How to fix my device . Please help .
Try these and see if it works.
go to download mode.
Then install a new recovery mode like TWRP using odin, check if recovery opens .
(If it doesnt then again install CWM using odin, repeat this process until you get a working recovery).
Then install a new ROM (any ROM would work which is compatible).

Are you talking about fastboot or recovery? When you want to get into recovery, you need to push and hold vol down + power. That'll take you to Hboot, wait for hboot to try to load a file it doesnt find ( about 5-10 seconds), then press vol down to highlight recovery and accept with power-button.
Does that work for you?
If not, I'd reflash recovery via unrevoked or rommanager.
it will not get into recovery no matter what. i tried rommanager still nothing and unrevoked not working too
fixed using flasher utility
Hi a have a problem with my s3 i rooted my phone and after i installed cm10 but also i installed google aps and after i installed google apps i was stuck with erors an after that i tried to flash stock rom an now it reamins stuck and when i try to go to restore and to do whipe data it enters only in odin mode i tried ti take out the battery but same it enter in odin mode i flash with rom stock but same problem it remains in samsung logo and when i want to enter in recovery mode its stays like that in odin mode please help
If i am to understand correctly, you have used odin on your computer to flash your s3 back to the stock firmware and are now stuck at the samsung boot screen? When you flash back to stock, you need to always boot back into recovery and wipe data, wipe cache and reboot. Can you do this?
Recovery= volume up+ home+ power
Odin mode (download mode)= volume down+ home+ power
You need recovery mode
i cant go to recovery mode when i volume up+ home+ power its restarting and he dont do nothing he dont want to enter in recovery only in odin mode
Hold the 3 buttons until you see a little blue line of script in the top left corner of your screen. It happens quickly, so you need to be ready. When you see that, let go of all 3 buttons. It should not into recovery.
i tried but my dyspay turns black after relese buttons
Try the buttons for recovery, when you feel it vibrate let go of only the power button.
Also, the timing needed on releasing the buttons can be tricky. Just keep trying.
the same its say recovery botting and after that its dissapearing and the display its black
Reflash a stock Rom. Are you on att?
i am on rogers i flash with I747MVLDLK4_I747MOYADLK4_RWC and same problem i cant enter in recovery mode i will try one moe time
Try flashing the Rogers ics stock Rom.
Hi ,
I have been reading a lot on xda developers about how to root, back up and flash a custom rom. I Successfully rooted my phone and got the supersu app too . I downloaded a few apps like greenify and fullscreen to test the waters of rooting . I also downloaded rom manager , TWRP & helium . Everything was going smooth when i was trying to make a back up from rom manager it wasnt letting me and phone would just reboot when i tried .
Then i was getting a little restless and tried to work on TWRP to install a recovery and an option that was on top of install a recovery . It gave me few options to which i said yes ( something related to back up in sd card ) . Then it asked me to press yes to reboot and since then my phone gets stuck at the samsung logo screen and if i press volume down + power + home then it gives me a screen where it says " downloading... do not turn off target !!" . On this screen the current binary is custom and so is the system status .
No other key combination that i know of is working .
PLEASE HELP .
Thanks in advance

what recovery did you use?
if you can enter recovery menu by pressing upper vol+menu+power button,
try to find your rom file again, either in backup folder or anywhere you place it before.then flash it again.
if you had your rom file on computer, just flash it via odin. or if you can enter recovery mode, flash via adb also possible.
I flashed my Samsung J2 device using Odin and was able to enter into TWRP mode but now it is not booting in normal mode. It just gets stuck in a bootloop if I switch it on. But on pressing Home + Volume Up + Power button, it boots into TWRP which works fine.
Please tell me how to boot normally to phone. I do not want to brick my phone.
Please help!!
Installing Stock ROM solved the problem
I installed stock ROM using this tutorial rootsamsung.com/flash-samsung-stock-firmware-4-files (add https:// Couldn't post link as I am a new member) and my Samsung J2 is working as new

Hey everybody,
during the process of trying to install Lineageos on my A3 A320FL, I probably broke the phone.
If it helps, I followed the installation description here --> https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/a3xelte/install
It's still possible to get into the download mode (Vol down + Home + Power) and to hard restart (Vol down + Power ~7sek) and the phone can be recognized by Odin. Odin even can successfully install the twrp.
So - i hope - it's not entirely dead.
However, shutting down (Vol up + Home) and recovery mode (Vol up + Home + Power) won't work anymore.
Also after restarting the phone (Vol down + Power ~7sek) and after the restart during the installation of twrp via Odin, the phone screen shows the initial "Samsung Galaxy A3 powered by android" but remains in this status.
Are there any ideas/suggestions how to get it running again? E.g. installing firmware or RootFiles (https://www.hardreset.info/samsung-root-files/) [found in another thread here] or ...
For you to get some more context: This is my first try to install a custom ROM on a mobile device, so I have absolutly no clue about the topic - or better - what are the next possible steps. But I'm somehow familiar with programming. So I will hopefully understand your answers.
I searched for some hours, but it seems the problem wasn't tackled before... at least for A3. Oh and I really don't care about data rocoveries or so, since on this phone there is nothing.
Thanks in advance for any help/hints/ideas
