Good morning I have a bricked XDA 02 (HTC Wizard), after a tentative of rom update. Now is dead compleately (doesn't switch on). The only way to solve the problem is the Jtag programming of the processor. I'm looking for the correct JTAG pins, but anyone have traced it till now. I have dismounted the brick and I found a strip on the left side of the board, can anyone tell me what it is used for (picture 2 and 4)??? Can anyone tell me if I can found the JTAG points under the soldering below OMAP processor? Does anyone have the OMAP 850 datasheet? Are the pins close to sim connector useful for what I'm looking for? Thanks to anyone that want to help me...
hi
me and some guys we are working finding that pins for reflashing
join us in thread (dead wizard , never let's revive) to continue it

Was it really necessary to point to a russian topic?
Hello,
I need some assistance with a hardware issue with my IPAQ 2490b.
About a year ago I had to replace the display of my IPAQ 2490b, but during the procedure I broke two components on the motherboard that I suppose are responsible for the USB connection to the computer. Since then my IPAQ is not recognized by a PC nor does it do charging through the USB. This wasn't really a big issue since now, because I did most of my syncing through BT, however with the aging WM5 I would like to be able to use on of the WM6 roms that we have around, however for that I need my USB connection.
I searched the net for a schematic of the IPAQ device, but I wasn't able to find one. I took some pictures of the components that are broken on my IPAQ 2490b mobo, so would somebody be so kind to tell me if he either knows or could find out, what are those, so I can replace them.
Thank you in advance for the help.
I have this model.
From your picture I think it is capacitor or resistor.
I will check and tell to you.
Isn't anyone else willing to help?
I am still looking for a solution. If someone is able to help, please do.
I hate doing this, but I just wanted to bump the topic, hoping that someone might help me. Please?! Pretty please !
I'm thinking about trying to mod my xperia play's internal antenna since they decided not to include an external antenna port on the play. I need help identifying the internal 3g antenna I'm ok at soldering so i'm not to worried about that. Has anyone done this yet? I'm wondering if it is even worth it.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I remember people complaining about weak signal were talking about that - don't know what happened at the end - try searching weak signal posts.
Hope it helps

I think that is the same You should start by cleaning the plate in the backdoor and pull gently the pin .and assambly again.hope it helps
it is the same point, juste solder a wire between the remaining good point and the antena in the housing, be careful not to breack the only one point left.
if you don't want to use soldering any more, juste gently pull the pin to make it touch the antena, remember you have to do it gentely !!!!
its working now..!

happy to hear it worked, you did the best solution, asking help of expert in soldering :good:
don't worry about the fluctuating of wifi since you are far from the router, this is normal.

Should look like this
Hey guys.
Someone has the hardware diagram of the Xperia ZL?
I would try to change the cellular antenna module. I'm having trouble with weak signal and I've tried various ROMs without success.
I believe that may be a problem in antenna.
Anyone have any suggestions or know to inform the position of the antenna?
You can find hardware info in service and repair manual from Sony.

Thank you! I was looking for this information for a long time.
Knowing the correct position of the antenna I could fix connection problems between the antenna and the motherboard.
This helped me to recover the cell phone signal was too weak.

Could some one explain what exactly the antenna looks like? If i follow the manual i just find an plastic piece that is moving freely up and down by it's own. Is that the one? It doesn't seem to have any electronics attached or doesn't seem to have any connectors either

It is a plastic piece placed on the bottom of the smartphone, on the left of the Gasket Vibrator.
You can see it in the attachment.
